Our heavenly Father, to Thee be all the praise and glory for Thy redeeming love and grace, that You left the portals of heaven to come to earth to redeem us unworthy ones into this wonderful fellowship with each other and with the--while the Blood of Jesus, Thy Son cleansing us from all unrighteousness. We thank Thee for everything that Thou has done for us.
And we pray now, that tonight You'll give us a great climax in this service. May this be the night that I can see once more, not a feeble person leave our building but what be made perfectly whole. Save every sinner, God, grant it. We commend ourself unto Thee, in Jesus' Name. Amen. You be seated.
E-2 Ce sont des gens comme vous qui rendent ce monde un lieu où il fait beau vivre, et qui rendent cela si pénible quand nous pensons qu'un jour nous aurons à le quitter et nous séparer pour un petit instant. Et alors, la pensée glorieuse, au-delà de cela, c'est de savoir que nous serons encore ensemble, alors pour toujours, là où il n'y aura plus de séparation.

E-2 It's such people as yourself that makes this world a wonderful place to live, and makes it so hard when we think that someday we'll have to leave it and separate for a little while. And then the glorious thought beyond that is to know we'll be together again then forever, where there'll be no more separation.
This has indeed, as every meeting I've ever had been in Chicago, been a thrilling time for me to meet with God's people, and have fellowship, and to see our Lord Jesus making the sick well, and really been a wonderful time. I want to thank the ministers, and especially Brother Joseph here, who is a bosom friend. And I have learned to love Brother Joseph with all my heart. And I think he knows that, and he loves me, and that's the reason he's asked me to come to Chicago. And I thank, he, and you all with all my heart for that wonderful invitation.

E-3 It is true that I'm planning on moving right away. And I want to thank that, I think it was a man or lady. I believe it was a lady, today, that I don't whether she had a pre-thought of it or what, she sent me a letter, and she owns a place up in Colorado; she wanted to deed it to me. And that's mighty lovely of you, my sister, if you're here tonight.
And Billy coming around, has given me little gifts that's come from each and every one of you, even to the boxes of cookies. We appreciate that. Joseph's a little small for that, but Sarah and Rebekah makes up for it; so they sure will be appreciated, every little thing, little token.
A man the other day gave my boy a rifle. Now, most I... You know how I love hunting. And not only I love hunting, I just like to be out in the woods; and I--I just love it. And rifle's and things that people has given me, I wouldn't take nothing for them; there's nothing could buy them.

Gypsy Smith, je pense que c'était lui, a dit une fois que la plus grande offrande qu'il ait jamais eue, en dehors du salut... Il a dit: "Un soir, il allait recevoir une offrande d'amour prélevée de ça. pour lui." Je pense, soit dit en passant, c'est la raison pour laquelle il a été exclu de l'Armée du Salut, c'était à cause du prélèvement d'une - une offrande, ou quelque chose comme ça... Non, c'était à cause de quelque chose que quelqu'un lui avait donné, une montre ou quelque chose comme ça. Je pense que l'on n'est pas censé faire cela dans l'Armée du Salut.
E-4 Now, if I buy one myself, and somebody come by and say, "Brother Branham, I like that, wished I had one."
I'd say, "Go ahead and take it." But if somebody give it to me, there couldn't be nothing take it. You'd have to take it when I had my back turned, the only way to get it. 'Cause I appreciate anything, no matter what it is.
And little things that you would think didn't mean nothing, maybe some people think they'd throw them out, just little old trinkets and things, little mussel shells from Africa, or something like that. I save every one of them. I remember them too, because they come from somebody.
Gypsy Smith, I believe it was, once said that the greatest offering that he ever had, outside of salvation... Said, "One night he was going to have a love offering taken up from it, for him." I think, by the way, that's the reason he was put out of the Salvation Army, was taking an--an offering, or something... No, it was something somebody give him, a watch or something. I believe you're not supposed to do that in the Salvation Army.

Et elle a dit: "Prenez, Mr. Smith, a-t-elle dit, c'est tout ce que j'ai, mais ceci est mon offrande d'amour pour vous." Et quand il est sorti et qu'il a déballé cela, c'était une sucette, c'était un peu léché. Mais elle avait pensé qu'elle... C'était tout ce qu'elle avait à donner. E-5 But said, "That all the people would--had give him a love offering. And from the depths of their heart they'd done it." Many of those people's in glory tonight and their reward is with them for helping that wonderful man of God. And he said one striking thing. When he started to leave the audience that night, standing back behind the curtain was a little girl, ragged, and she had a little present wrapped up in her hand. And she said, "Give Mr. Smith," said, "this is all I have, but this is my love offering to you." And when he got outside and unwrapped it, it was a lollipop, been licked on a little bit. But she happened to think that she... It was all she had to give.
E-6 Il racontait comment il - comment cela l'avait ému. C'est vrai, c'est tout ce qu'elle avait. Vous savez, Celui qui avait vu la veuve faire une offrande de deux petites pièces de monnaie en ce temps-là, Il a vu cette sucette. Ne croyez-vous pas cela? Il l'a certainement vue, Il voit tout. Peu importe combien c'est insignifiant, Jésus a dit: "Ne vend-on pas deux passereaux - deux passereaux pour un sou", et un sou, c'est le quart d'un penny. Deux passereaux pour un sou, le quart d'un penny achète deux passereaux. Comme c'est insignifiant! Et Il a dit: "Aucun d'eux... aucun d'eux... Pas un seul passereau ne peut même pas tomber sans que votre Père le sache." Il sait tout, n'est-ce pas? Alors, n'est-il donc pas merveilleux d'exposer tout simplement nos coeurs juste devant Lui?
Et je voudrais remercier chacun de vous de votre coopération, vous les pasteurs. Et si votre pasteur n'est pas ici, et qu'il ait parlé de la série de réunions et de n'importe quoi, exprimez-lui mes sentiments d'amour et d'appréciation, en toute sincérité. Et ma prière pour lui est que votre église soit - devienne un grand phare spirituel et qu'un grand réveil éclate dans votre église, chacun de vous. Peu m'importe l'église dont vous êtes membre, ça n'a aucune importance pour moi, et je suis sûr que ça n'en a pas non plus pour Dieu. Juste... C'est vous qu'Il cherche, c'est vous.
E-6 He used to tell how he--how it got him. That's right, it's all she had. You know, the One Who watched the widow put in the two pennies tithings that time, He seen that lollipop, don't you believe so? Sure He did; He sees everything. No matter how insignificant it is, Jesus said, "Isn't two sparrow--isn't two sparrows sold for one farthing." And a farthing is a fourth of a penny. Two sparrows, one farthing, one fourth of a penny will buy two sparrows, how insignificant. And said, "There's none of it... neither of them... No sparrow could even fall without your Father knowing about it." He knows everything, doesn't He? So isn't it wonderful then just to lay our hearts right out before Him?
And I want to thank each and every one of you for your cooperation, you pastors. And if your pastor's not here, and he spoke about the meeting and whatever, give him my love and regards, sincerity. And my prayer is for him that your church will be--become a great spiritual lighthouse and great revival will be in your church, each one of you. I don't care what church you belong to; that doesn't matter a thing to me, and I'm sure it doesn't to God either. Just... You're the one He's after, is you.
E-7 Et tout à l'heure, quand frère Joseph a dit qu'on avait prélevé une offrande d'amour pour moi, pour ces soirées que j'ai passées ici... J'apprécie vraiment ça, et peut-être que les frères sont en train de compter cela maintenant. Et après le service, avant que je parte, ils vont peut-être me remettre un chèque, à la place. Et je vous remercie. J'aurais souhaité ne pas prendre ça, mais je suis outre-mer, j'ai été outre-mer plusieurs fois donc, et je n'ai pas un fonds. Et je suis tout simplement obligé de tenir une réunion ici en Amérique de temps en temps. Je dépense environ cent dollars par jour pour le bureau et tout, où que je me trouve. Et je m'enfonce très, très, très, très bas dans des dettes. Ensuite, je vais tenir quelques réunions, on me donne des offrandes d'amour et je suis presque relevé. Puis, quelqu'un vient là, il veut me parrainer outre-mer, je m'en vais prêcher l'Evangile. E-7 And awhile ago when Brother Joseph made mention that they would take a love offering for me for these nights that I been here... And I do appreciate it, and perhaps, the brethren are counting it now. And after the service, before I leave, they'll perhaps, hand me the check for it. And I thank you. I wished I didn't have to take it, but I'm overseas, been overseas a lot now, and I have no capital. And I just have to have a meeting here in America once in a while. My expenses runs me about a hundred dollars a day for office and everything, regardless of where I am. And I go way, way, way, way, back in debt. Then I'll have a few meetings, they'll give me a love offerings; I get about caught up. Then somebody come along wants to sponsor me overseas, away I go to preach the Gospel.
E-8 Et les deux dernières fois, ç'a été les Hommes d'Affaires Chrétiens et les autres, ils m'ont envoyé là où je n'avais pas à recevoir un sou. Ils ne peuvent pas me donner de l'argent, car ce serait un don à moi, mais ils peuvent me payer le voyage. Et j'en suis très reconnaissant. Et quelqu'un m'a offert l'autre jour. Et par dessus tout, je suis reconnaissant de Jésus-Christ qui rend cela possible pour, pour que nous puissions nous rassembler.
Frère Joseph parlait de mon foyer, de ma femme. S'il y a un mérite à attribuer à un Branham, attribuez-le à ma femme. C'est vrai. C'est elle qui en est digne. Elle a trente-six ans, ses cheveux sont complètement blancs. Encore une jeune fille, elle ne savait pas ce que c'est que se reposer. Et nous connaissons des temps difficiles dans notre pays, c'est ma ville natale. Pardonnez-moi [Frère Branham tousse. - Ed.]. C'est là que je suis né, ou plutôt que j'ai été élevé. Elle a essayé cette semaine de trouver, pour n'importe quel salaire qu'elle pouvait payer, quelqu'un qui accepterait de venir s'occuper de Joseph pendant qu'elle venait ici passer ces quelques dernières soirées avec nous. J'ai offert aux femmes jusqu'à 35 et 40 dollars par semaine, comme salaire, si elles acceptaient de venir et de ne prendre soin que des enfants; nous n'en trouvons aucune. Ce n'est pas depuis une semaine ou deux, c'est depuis deux ou trois ans .
E-8 And the last two times has been the Christian Business Men and them, has sent me over to where I didn't have to have one cent. They can't give me money, because that would be a gift to me, but they can pay my way. And I'm so thankful for that. And someone offered me the other day, they'd send me back overseas to Palestine, when the Lord would lead me to go. And that's very fine, so I'm thankful for that; and for all things, I'm grateful. And above all things, I'm grateful for Jesus Christ Who makes it possible that we can come together.
Brother Joseph was talking about my home, my wife. If there's any credit to be given to any Branham, give it to my wife. That's right. She's the deserving one. Thirty-six years old, completely white headed. A girl, she never knows what it is to lay down. And we have a hard time in our country; that's my home town. Pardon me. [Brother Branham coughs--Ed.] That's where I was born or raised at. She tried this week with any price that she could give to anyone, who would come and watch Joseph while she come up here and spent these last couple nights with us. I've offered women as much as thirty-five and forty dollars a week expenses if they'd come and do nothing but take care of the children; we can find no one. That's not been for a week or two; that's been for two or three years.
E-9 Et alors, apparemment, c'est comme si le Saint-Esprit m'éloigne de Jeffersonville. J'attends donc l'endroit où Il veut que j'aille. Si c'était le cas, je serais certainement au seuil de sa porte le matin, cherchant à savoir ce qu'il en est. Mais c'est le Saint-Esprit. Vous vous souvenez de Jacob, les choses commençaient à mal tourner, voyez, et il avait un ardent désir, et - et tout avait pris une autre tournure, alors il lui fallait tout simplement s'en aller, alors - retourner dans sa patrie. Ainsi, partout où le Saint-Esprit conduira, c'est en ordre. E-9 And so, it's seemingly that the Holy Spirit is moving me away from Jeffersonville. I'm watching for a place now where He wants me to go. And Chicago's all right with me, if He moves me this a way, or wherever I would go. So I'm just in prayer, and you pray for me, that I'll make the right decision. But I can hardly stay any longer, and it looks like other things too. There's nothing, no one's got against me as I know of. If it was, I'd sure be on their doorstep in the morning finding out about it. But it's the Holy Spirit.
You remember Jacob, things begin to go wrong (See?), and he had a longing, and--and everything was a little different, so he just had to move away, so--go back to the homeland. So wherever the Holy Spirit will lead, all right.
E-10 Eh bien, c'est maintenant le temps de prendre mes vacances, avant que ce grand combat ait lieu l'année prochaine. Et je vais là à cette Rivière de non retour, le bon Dieu voulant; et là, j'amène mon fusil un matin, parfois avant l'aube, et je vais loin dans la montagne, seul; je dépose mon fusil, je m'assieds au sommet d'une montagne, d'où je peux avoir une bonne vue, et là, je parle à Dieu le reste de la journée. Parfois, je passe deux jours, peut-être plus, juste là sous un arbre, ou peu importe où je suis, ou sur un rocher. Il ne s'agit pas tellement de la chasse, il s'agit de se retrouver seul avec Dieu. Je prierai pour vous [L'assemblée dit: "Amen."]. Que Dieu vous bénisse. Puisse Son... Lui qui fait briller la lune, qui fait briller les étoiles quand il fait sombre, afin de nous permettre de marcher, puisse-t-Il être avec vous dès maintenant jusqu'à ce que nous nous rencontrions de nouveau. Que Dieu vous bénisse tous.
E-10 Now, this is my vacation time before the big struggle comes this next year. This is the time that the Christian Business Men, this year as they did last year, is sponsoring a little trip for me, a trip that I couldn't afford to go. That's down the Salmon River, the River of No Return. You float through a raft ten days, down over the ripples even to thirty feet drop, very rough trip, but you're back in God's country. And I love it.
And I've... Now, I leave... I'm at home four hours this time before leaving for a month. And I go down this River of No Return, the good Lord willing, and down in there I take my rifle of a morning, sometimes before daylight, and go way alone into the mountain, set my rifle down, set down on top of the mountain, where I could look out; and there I talk to God the rest of the day. Sometimes stay two days, maybe more than that, right there under that tree, or wherever I be, or in a rock. It isn't so much hunting; it's getting alone with God. I'll be praying for you. God bless you.
May His... He Who can keep the moon bright, make the stars shine when it's dark to give us way to walk, may He be with you now until we meet again. God bless you all.

They're recording artists that go down here and record these messages. And so, I know Brother Beeler, and I know the man setting next to him. I can't call his name; he's a missionary to the Jews or Arabs, or one.

Somebody looked in the other day, a brand new car, and he's got about eighty something thousand miles on it. Most of that's between here and Jeffersonville, driving back and forth.
And I know this brother's face, but I can't call his name. And many of you, I know your face, but I just can't call your name. Je vous ai gardés jusque tard chaque soir, pardonnez-moi pour cela, je vous prie. Et bien des fois, je deviens très enthousiasmé quand je commence. Pourrais-je appeler ça prêcher? De toutes les façons, quand je passe un bon moment, eh bien, je deviens alors tellement enthousiasmé que je perds toute notion de temps et tout. Ainsi, vous avez été très gentils, en restant avec moi, et ça m'amène à vous aimer de tout mon coeur.
Maintenant, je voudrais lire quelques Paroles dans la Bible de Dieu, dans I Jean, chapitre 1, de verset 5 à 7. Et je pense que nous lirons juste le verset 7 et ça sera bref comme ça. Lisez tout le chapitre quand vous rentrerez chez vous, si vous le pouvez.
Si nous marchons dans la lumière, comme Il est dans la lumière, nous avons communion les uns avec les autres, et le sang de Jésus-Christ, son Fils, nous purifie de tout péché.
N'est-ce pas merveilleux? Demandons-Lui de bénir la lecture de Sa Parole maintenant.
E-14 Now, we love Him with all of our hearts, so tonight we're going to take a little Scripture lesson, and then I want to try to have--be--have the prayer line going, and--for tomorrow's Monday and you got to go to work, and you got to catch trains out. And I've kept you late every night, and you forgive me for that, will you? And lot of times I get so enthused when I start. Could I call it preaching? Anyhow, when I'm having a good time, well then, I get so enthused I lose all thoughts of time and everything. So you've been very nice to stay with me, and it just makes me love you with all of my heart.
Now, I want to read some words out of God's Bible in I John the 1st chapter and the 5th verse to the 7th. And I believe we'll just read the 7th verse and that will make it shorter. You read the whole chapter when you get home if you can.
If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Isn't that marvelous? Let's ask Him to bless the reading of His Word now.

Now, I want to speak to you just a little while tonight, being this has been such a wonderful week, upon, "The Way To Have Fellowship."
Now, we know that... I was going to continue my service tonight, the children of Israel over in the homeland; Joshua taking them over where we left last night when he was crossing the Red Sea. But I wouldn't have time in this prayer line so you can catch trains, and so forth, and get home and go to work in the morning.
E-16 Maintenant, ça sera bref, nous pouvons vous parler juste brièvement là-dessus. Mais, ô comme tout le monde désire avoir communion. Et alors, quand vous entendez la Parole... Tout le monde aime L'entendre, peu importe... Chaque petite documentation que l'on peut trouver, on - on lit ça. Et on suit la radio, et on va à l'église et tout le reste, car on désire ardemment avoir cette communion autour de la Parole.
E-16 Now, this will be short, we can talk to you just short on this. But how that every person desires fellowship. I've never seen anyone yet who did not desire fellowship. That is was--is all right, mentally balanced. Now, you might want to pick your fellowship, 'course that's true to everyone of us. That's the reason tonight that all these fine people have packed out here in this building to a place where they're standing, is because that they like this type of fellowship. They like Christian fellowship. And that's why we come tonight, to fellowship around the Word.
I love the Word, don't you? And you know why you love the Word? You have the Holy Spirit in you. For the Bible said that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. So the Holy Spirit feeds on the Word. And then when you hear the Word... Everyone wants to hear It, no matter... Every little piece of literature they can pick up, they--they read it. And they listen to the radio, and they go to church and so forth, because they are longing for that fellowship around the Word.
E-17 Et que Dieu nous aide ce soir à comprendre comment nous pouvons avoir une parfaite communion. E-17 And may God help us tonight to realize how we can have a perfect fellowship. No matter where storms come, whether you're right or wrong, you can still have fellowship. And only way you can have fellowship, as your love perfects. Don't never forget me. If I don't see some of you no more, remember this: That my theme is "love covers it all." I believe in the redeeming love of the Lord Jesus. I like this song.

And shall be till I die.
E-18 Je préférerais avoir une église... Ecoutez, juste un instant. Je préférerais avoir une église qui ne sait rien au sujet d'un quelconque don spirituel, et qui est vraiment pleine d'amour, les uns pour les autres et pour Christ; je préférerais avoir cela plutôt que d'avoir chaque don spirituel opérant dans l'église. Maintenant, cela peut sembler trop fort dans un groupe pentecôtiste, mais je préférerais plutôt cela. Là où il y a des dons, ils failliront. Là où il y a des dons, ils causeront de la confusion. Là où il y a des dons, ils peuvent être remis en question. Mais là où il y a l'amour, c'est parfait. C'est vrai. Et si vous aviez l'amour parfait, vous auriez des dons parfaits. C'est vrai. Alors, travaillez d'abord avec amour. Cela suscite la communion, et la communion produit les dons.
Maintenant, la raison... Qu'est-ce qui fait que les gens aiment parfois différentes choses, ils aiment la communion? C'est parce que, d'abord, l'homme a été créé pour communier. Eh bien, pensez-y bien ce soir... Malgré mon ardent désir d'aller chasser et faire la pêche en plein air, mon coeur a plutôt plus soif d'aller au sommet de cette montagne et de parler à Dieu que n'importe quoi que je sache. Voyez, je - je voudrais me retrouver seul; je voudrais me rassurer qu'il n'y a personne dans un rayon de cent miles autour de moi. Et j'aime les gens, mais le seul moyen pour moi de leur rendre service, c'est de recevoir d'abord le Message venant de Dieu.
E-18 I'd rather have a church... Listen, just a moment. I would rather have a church that knows nothing about any spiritual gift, and just be so in love with each other and with Christ, I'd rather have that than every spiritual gift operating in the church. Now, that might sound hard in a Pentecostal group, but I would rather have it. Where there is gifts, they'll fail. Where there is gifts, they'll bring confusion. Where there is gifts, they can be questioned. But where there is love, it is perfect. That's right. And if you had perfect love you'd have perfect gifts. That's right. So work first with love. That brings fellowship, and fellowship brings gifts.
Now, the reason... Why is it that people perhaps like different things, like fellowship? Is because, first, man was made to fellowship. Now, just think of tonight... As much as I long to go hunting and fishing in the outdoors, yet, my heart is more hungry to get on top of that mountain and talk to God than anything I know of. See, I--I want to be alone; I want to know there's nobody a hundred miles from me. And I love people, but the only way I can minister to people is to first get the message from God.
E-19 Et je sais cette seule chose, et ma foi me le rassure, c'est que chaque personne qui est née de nouveau, à qui j'ai prêché, j'aurai une éternité pour communier avec elle. Mais nous voudrions en faire sortir plus de ténèbres. Il y a nos pauvres frères et soeurs perdus ici ce soir dans des bars. Et je suis passé par le quartier de clochards hier soir, comme mon fils et les autres voulaient voir ça, et voir ces pauvres gens là-bas, en train de boire, et ils pensent qu'ils ne - ils ne savent pas ce dont ils ont vraiment besoin. J'ai pensé: "Si seulement ils connaissaient mon Jésus, ils ne se retrouveraient certainement pas là." Voyez? Et c'est l'unique chose qui peut les sauver de ce chaos où ils se trouvent; il n'y a pas de médicament ni rien. Un alcoolique est un échec total et radical, dépourvu de tout secours, en dehors de Jésus-Christ. C'est vrai. Il n'y a pas de médicament. J'ai été à Bowery. J'ai été à Pigalle en France, dans des quartiers les plus vils que je pouvais trouver, parlant, priant et tout l reste. Et le seul espoir pour ces gens, c'est le Sang de Jésus-Christ, c'est l'unique chose, le seul espoir. E-19 And I know this one thing, that my faith tells me that every person that's borned again that I preach to, I'll have an eternity to fellowship with them. But we want to bring more in out of the darkness. There's our poor lost brothers and sisters out here tonight in saloons. I passed by skid row last night as my boy and them wanted to see it, and see those poor people down there drinking, and think that they don't--they don't know what they do want. I thought, "If they only knew my Jesus, they sure wouldn't be down there." See?
And that's the only thing that can save them from that chaos that they're in; there's no medicine, nothing. A alcoholic is a perfect total annihilation from any help at all outside of Jesus Christ. That's right. There's no cure. I've been on the Bowery. I've been in Pigalle in France, to the lowest slums that I could find, and talking, and praying, and so forth. And the only hope for them people is the Blood of Jesus Christ, the only thing, the only hope.
E-20 Maintenant, qu'est-ce qui amène les hommes à désirer la communion? C'est parce qu'il a été créé ainsi, il a été créé pour avoir communion. Qu'est-ce que la communion? J'ai quatre jours de déplacement par véhicule à partir de demain. J'ai quatre jours de déplacement par véhicule sur une distance d'environ deux mille cinq cents miles [4,022 km - N.D.T.]. N'est-ce pas merveilleux? Vous savez, j'apprécie de tels amis. Que Dieu bénisse son petit coeur suisse. Je l'aime. Il veut rouler juste pour être en ma compagnie, quatre jours à travers les montagnes, et les prairies, là- bas, juste pour avoir communion. Nous nous aimons beaucoup, comme de récieux frères bien-aimés. Et puis, il a tout le chemin retour à parcourir jusqu'à Shawano, dans le Wisconsin, par bus ou par un autre moyen, juste pour retourner. Oh! cela fait bondir mon coeur. Et alors, Dieu a tellement désiré communier avec Ses enfants qu'Il a parcouru tout le trajet depuis la Gloire et Il est mort pour communier avec nous. N'est-ce pas merveilleux? C'est si merveilleux de penser... E-20 Now, what makes men want to fellowship? Is because he was made that way; he was made to have fellowship. What fellowship is? I got four days driving to do starting tomorrow. I got four days to drive about twenty-five hundred miles. And I have to drive it by myself in a little old truck. And someone, a friend of mine, is coming down, just left word this afternoon, to ride all the way out there with me and ride back by hisself on a greyhound bus just to have fellowship. Isn't that wonderful? You know, I appreciate friends like that. God bless his little Swiss heart. I love him. Wanting to ride just to be with me, four days across the mountains, and prairies, over yonder, just to have fellowship. We love each other dearly, as dearly beloved brothers. And then have to ride all the way back up to Shawano, Wisconsin, on a bus or some how, just to get back. Oh, that makes my heart jump.
And now, God is so longing to have fellowship with His children, that He come all the way from glory and died to have fellowship with us. Isn't that marvelous? So wonderful to think...
E-21 Eh bien, au commencement l'homme avait communion. D'abord, nous savons que si on peut communier avec Dieu, alors ne vous en faites pas, Dieu prendra soin du reste. La chose principale dont je voudrais parler... j'ai subdivisé cela en quatre parties ici: comment communier avec Dieu, la communion les uns avec les autres, et ainsi de suite; mais nous voudrions parler seulement d'une seule phase de cela, c'est la communion avec Dieu. Et maintenant, je vais surveiller cette horloge, là, pour me rassurer que je commencerai la ligne de prière à temps.
Mais la communion avec Dieu est ce que... La première et l'originelle communion que les êtres humains ont eue, c'était avec Dieu. Il n'y avait même pas une autre - une autre créature vivante sur la terre avec laquelle il pouvait communier (Adam), à part Dieu. Ensuite, Dieu a fait pour lui une aide, une femme, qui est une partie de lui.
E-21 Now, in the beginning man had fellowship. First, we realize if we can have fellowship with God, then don't worry, God will take care of the rest of it. The main thing I want to speak on... I've got it in four parts here, how to have fellowship with God, fellowship with one another, and so forth; but we want to talk only on the one phase of it, is the fellowship with God. And now, I'm going to watch that clock there, to be sure that I get the prayer line started in time.
But fellowship with God is what... The first and original fellowship that human beings had was with God. There wasn't even another--another living creature on the earth that He could fellowship with, Adam, but God. Then God made him a helpmate, a wife, which is part of him.
E-22 Et pouvez-vous vous représenter les soirs, après le coucher du soleil, il allait se coucher, là, se couchant là loin à l'ouest, et ces rayons de lumière descendant au travers de ces grands arbres aux feuilles toujours vertes, c'était la grande cathédrale de Dieu, et on entend un mugissement de ces coups de vent à travers les sommets des arbres, Adam et Eve étaient assis là dans le jardin, dans la grande cathédrale de Dieu en train de communier avec Dieu. Tout le monde désire faire ça. Chaque chrétien éprouve un ardent désir d'avoir communion, n'est-ce pas vrai?
J'ai lu des histoires des hommes qui ont passé toute leur vie, presque, à gravir très haut dans les collines, à descendre au bord du lac, rien que pour trouver un endroit où communier. Mais après tout, il ne vous faut aller nulle part ailleurs, si ce n'est au Calvaire; c'est la seule voie. Il y a une voie, il n'y a qu'une seule voie que vous pouvez emprunter pour communier.
E-22 And could you imagine in the evenings when the sun had gone down, going, setting way back in the west, and that streaks of light coming down through those great evergreen trees, God's great cathedral, and hear the roar of one of those blowing through the tops of those trees, and Adam and Eve setting out there in the garden in God's great cathedral having fellowship with God. Everybody longs to do that. Every Christian longs to have fellowship, isn't that right?
I've read stories of men who spent a lifetime nearly, going high into the hills, going down by the lakeside, just hunting for a spot for fellowship. But after all, you don't have to go anywhere but to Calvary; that's the only way. There's a way, there's only one way that you can go to fellowship.
E-23 Et remarquez, alors pas une voie... Ce n'est pas seulement dans cet âge, ç'a été dans tous les âges. Pensez tout simplement à Job, loin. le plus vieux Livre de la Bible, il désirait ardemment avoir communion. Il savait qu'il y avait un Créateur. Et il croyait en Lui de tout son coeur. Et il a dit, à la manière des enfants: "Oh! si seulement je pouvais aller auprès de Lui! Si seulement je savais où Il habite, je m'y rendrais et frapperais à Sa porte et Lui parlerais juste un petit instant." N'aimerions-nous pas tous faire ça?
Mais pensez-y, Il est plus proche de vous que ne l'est Sa porte. Sa porte, c'est votre coeur. Et Il est si proche ce soir, Il est plus proche de vous donc que ne l'est votre bras. Il est une partie de vous. Et si seulement nous pouvons nous rendre compte qu'Il est ici, et combien Il aime communier avec nous... Son coeur est beaucoup plus disposé à communier que ne l'est le nôtre. Et la raison pour laquelle Il nous a créés ainsi, c'est parce que nous sommes Sa progéniture. C'est ce qui nous fait désirer la communion.
E-23 And notice, then not way... It hasn't only been in this age; it's been in all ages. Just think, Job, way--the oldest Book in the Bible, he longed for fellowship. He knowed there was a Creator. And he believed Him with all of his heart. And he said, in a child way of saying it, "Oh, if I could only get to Him? If I only knew where He lived at, I could go up and knock on His door and talk to Him just a little while." Wouldn't we all love to do that?
But think, He's closer to you than His door. His door is your heart. And He's so close tonight, He's closer to you then your right arm is. He's part of you. And if we can only realize that He's here, and how He wants to have fellowship with us... His heart is greater for fellowship than ours are. And the reason He makes us that way because we're offsprings of His. That's what makes us long for fellowship.
E-24 C'est ce qui amène une mère à mourir pour son enfant. Pourquoi? C'est ce qui amène un père à donner sa vie pour sa femme. Un mari, un vrai mari donnerait sa vie pour sa femme. Pourquoi? Car Christ a donné Sa Vie pour l'Eglise, Sa Femme. C'est une contrainte en vous. Cela pousserait une mère à se jeter précipitamment dans un feu brûlant, sans penser à elle-même, avec les cheveux en feu, et ses habits en feu, pour s'emparer de son enfant et sortir en courant avec lui. Pourquoi? C'est l'amour d'un parent. Et Dieu est le premier et originel Parent. Et c'est par là que vient cette contrainte, du fait que la femme a donné naissance à l'enfant.
Et c'est la raison pour laquelle Dieu est descendu, Il a été manifesté dans la chair, Il est entré dans les flammes mêmes et la souffrance la plus accablante, c'est afin qu'Il puisse nous ramener à la communion avec Lui, sans faire cas de Lui-même. "Non pas Ma volonté, mais que Ta volonté soit faite." Oh! comme c'est merveilleux, la communion que nous avons les uns avec les autres et avec Dieu!
E-24 That's what makes a mother would die for her baby. Why? That's what makes a father would give his life for his wife. A husband, a true husband would give his life for his wife. Why? Because Christ gave His Life for the Church, His Wife. It's a strain in you. And it'd make a mother dash through a burning fire, not thinking about her own self, and her hair on fire, and her clothes on fire, to grab her baby, and run out with it. Why? It's love of a parent. And God is the first and original Parent. And there's where that strain comes through. Because the woman gave birth to the child.
And that's the reason God come down, manifested in the flesh, and went to the very flames, the hottest of suffering, that He might bring us into fellowship with Him, taking no thought of His own. "Not My will, Thine be done." How that wonderful fellowship that we have with each other and with God...
E-25 Maintenant, Dieu voulait cette communion. Alors, qu'est-ce qui a causé la séparation? Qu'est-ce qui empêche l'homme d'avoir un entretien direct comme le faisait Adam? J'ai souvent pensé qu'Adam là, dans le jardin d'Eden, ne connaissant pas le péché, ni Eve sa femme non plus, elle était belle, elle se tenait dans le jardin... Et alors Leo, le lion, pouvait s'approcher et le tigre vient par ici, la grosse bête des - des champs venait entrer dans cette cathédrale, s'agenouiller, et ils... Même - même les bêtes ne s'entre-tuaient pas, ils... il n'y avait pas de mort, nulle part.
C'est le diable qui pousse les bêtes sauvages à chercher à vous faire du mal. Et si vous pouvez produire dans votre coeur la bonne sorte d'amour envers l'animal le plus horrible qui existe dans les bois ou au désert, cet animal ne vous fera pas de mal. C'est vrai. Je le sais par expérience. Mais vous ne pouvez pas faire semblant là-dessus. Il sait si vous le faites réellement ou pas. Il y a quelque chose en lui qui le lui fait savoir. Mais si vous n'avez vraiment pas peur, je n'ai jamais vu quelque chose qui puisse vous nuire, que ce soit un lion, quoi que ce soit, il va s'éloigner de vous. Mais si vous courez, ou si vous agissez comme si vous avez peur ou quelque chose comme ça, alors vous serez tué. Ainsi, vous ne pouvez tout simplement pas faire semblant là-dessus, vous devez vraiment en être sûr dans votre coeur, que vous n'avez pas peur.
E-25 Now, God intended this fellowship. So what separated, what keeps man from having that direct talk like Adam did? I've often thought that Adam out in the garden of Eden, knowing no sin, or Eve his wife, beautiful, standing in the garden... And then Leo the lion would come up, and here comes the tiger, the great beast of the--of the fields come up into this cathedral, kneeling on their knees, and they... Even--even the beasts didn't have any killing about them, they... There was not no death nowhere.
The devil's what makes wild animals wants to hurt you. And if you can produce in your heart the right kind of a love towards the most horrible beast there is in the woods or the desert, that beast won't harm you. That's right. I know it by experience. But you can't pretend it. He knows whether you do or not. There's something about him that he knows it. But if you're really not afraid, I've never seen anything that would hurt you, no matter, a lion, whatever it might be, he will walk away from you. But if you run, or act like you're scared, or something, then you'll get killed. So you can't just make it up; you got to really know it in your heart that you're not afraid.
E-26 C'est ça le problème de l'homme aujourd'hui; c'est ça le problème des gens aujourd'hui, vous avez peur. C'est la plus grande malédiction qui existe parmi les gens du plein Evangile, ou parmi n'importe quel autre peuple, c'est parce qu'ils ont peur. Dieu a pourvu, mais vous avez peur de prendre Sa Parole pour ça. Si vous étiez- si vous n'aviez pas peur ce soir, eh bien, vous recevriez votre guérison par la foi, et vous sauriez que Dieu a promis cela, et la chose vous quitterait du coup. Effrayés, ayant peur... Et j'ai remarqué ça. Et c'est la raison pour laquelle je suis un fervent croyant à la guérison. Je sais que si vous pouvez vous débarrasser de cette peur-là, et avoir de l'amour à la place, quelque chose va arriver.
Et il n'y a que deux facultés qui dirigent un homme, et l'une, c'est - c'est la foi, qui produit les résultats; et l'autre, c'est la peur qui n'a aucune vertu du tout. La foi vient de Dieu. La peur vient du diable. La peur vous abat; la peur vous amène à vous poser des questions. Et si j'allais mourir le matin, à quoi me servirait-il d'être tout agité à ce sujet? Qu'adviendrait-il si j'allais être tué sur la chaise électrique le matin, et que ma vie allait prendre fin demain matin, à quoi me servirait-il de m'inquiéter à ce sujet?
E-26 That's the trouble with man tonight; that's what's the trouble with people tonight; you're scared. That's the biggest curse there is on the Full Gospel people, or any other people; is because they are afraid. God has made the provision, but you're afraid to take His Word for it. If you was--wasn't afraid tonight, why, you would take your healing by faith, and know that God promised it, and the thing would just go plumb away from you. Afraid, scared... And I've noticed it. And that's the reason I'm such a believer in healing. I know that if you can get away from that scare, and get love in its place, something's going to happen.
There's only two faculties that govern a human, and one of them is--is faith, which brings results; and the other is fear, which has no value in it at all. Faith is of God. Fear is of the Devil. Fear makes you weary; fear makes you wonder. And if I was going to die in the morning, what good would it do me to get all stewed up about it? What if I was going to be electrocuted in the morning, and my life had to end tomorrow morning, what good would that do me to worry about it?

Wished I had time to tell you the experiences with wild life, of what I've seen conquered by faith, by love. I told you the other night about the old opossum being sent up. I seen a vicious bull one day, was going to kill me. This is on record; I was a game warden at the time. I was going over the hill to pray for a sick man. And we're supposed to pack a gun, but you wouldn't go to pray for a sick man with a gun on your hand. So I took the gun and laid it in the little old truck, and crossed over through the field. And I was way out in the field and I knew... I had a--ought to of thought that this killer bull was out there, he'd just killed a colored man on a farm, Mr. Burks, just about three months before that, and they sold him up there to the people that had these Durham cattle.

At first it scared me. I--I looked for a tree, and there wasn't any tree. And I know he could out run me to the fence. So I thought, "Well, this is it." So then, something happened. O God, if that would only stay there instead of going away. Something happened. I--I wish God would let it happen to everybody here tonight just long enough to get healed. See?

E-29 Something happened that I wasn't scared of the bull. I felt sorry, because I disturbed him; I was in his field. He was laying out there not bothering me. I come along and woke him up. And so I felt sorry for him. Now, you can't bluff it; it has to be there. That's the way faith is; you can't bluff; you got to really have it. The Devil will know it.
And this fellow started towards me with his head down, just as hard as he could. I wasn't no more afraid of that bull then I would be of any of my dear brothers and sisters standing on this platform. And he run within about five feet of me, and he stopped, he looked at me so depleted; he looked right and left. I said, "Fellow, I'm sorry I disturbed you." I said, "Now, you're God's creature, and I'm God's servant. Now, the Creator that made you made me, and I am His servant. I'm on my journey across the hill to pray for one of His sick children. If I knowed you been laying there, I wouldn't have come by and disturbed you. So now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Creator, go back and lay down."

E-30 At the judgment bar you'll see it brought into light. That bull looked at me a few minutes, turned around, walked over, and laid down. And I--I stood there, the tears running down my cheeks. I walked within five foot of that bull, and he never even turned his head and looked at me. Why? Instead of hating him, I loved him. Love will conquer anything. Right.
That's what conquered my heart when I knowed that God so loved me that He gave His only begotten Son, that I wouldn't have to perish. Knowed that I was born in this world a sinner, and was perishing, and God loved me that He gave His Son to--for my life to be redeemed. And then I--I couldn't hate no more; I had to love. That's what brings these results that you see. It's love.

E-31 I don't know. I might've told this, I have told it before, hundreds of little things that's happened. One day I was mowing my yard. I had to get in the back yard, the front yard was growing up 'fore I get the back, account of people come being prayed for and things, from... See, as Joseph said awhile ago, it's just... Here, this is just--this is just Chicago. At home, it's all around the world (See?), where people are coming and going from all parts of the world coming in.
And when I was mowing this grass, I run in, forgot about it, there was a hornet's nest back there. And I hit that fence with this mowing machine, and I was covered over with hornets, them great big fellows; they'll knock you down when they hit you. At first I was scared, truly. No shirt on... And something or another happened. I--I was sorry I hit those fellows, not because that I was afraid I was going to get stung, but really, it sounds juvenile, but if we could just be more juvenile. If we could be more childlike, it's the simplicity of God that turns college students around. Be simple in those things. Just like a baby, just rely and believe. Don't try to push yourself; just relax and believe it. That's all. Don't try to work yourself up, "O God, hallelujah, rebuke." That's no--no good. No, just believe it and walk on. That's all.

J'ai tiré la file... et j'ai ainsi redémarré ça et ces abeilles ont tout simplement bourdonné tout autour de mes épaules nues, et elles se sont empressées et sont retournées droit dans leur nid, sans du tout piquer. L'amour. Je ne peux pas produire ça; je ne peux pas manouvrer cela; C'est Dieu qui doit donner ça.
E-32 So when that happened, I thought, "Them poor little fellows up there in their nest now, and here I done hit the fence and knocked them out of their nest," that big old mowing machine I was pushing. And I said, "You're little creatures of God, I'm sorry that I hit this fence. I'm--I'm sorry I disturbed you. Now, I'm God's servant, and I'm praying for His sick children. I got to hurry and mow this yard. So now, you rush right back into your nest; I won't bother you no more, in the Name of the Lord Jesus."
I started my mower off again and stopped it. I'd pull the string and started off like that and them bees just a humming all around my naked shoulders, and they took a beeline and went right back into their nest, without stinging at all. Love. I can't produce it; I can't work it up; God's got to give it.
E-33 C'est là que l'on en est ce soir. C'est Dieu qui doit donner ça. Alors l'amour produit une communion. Or, quand Dieu a dit autrefois... Mais si vous aimez vraiment le Seigneur Jésus et qu'une soeur ou un frère vous fasse quelque chose: "Oh! eh bien, c'est en ordre, ils n'en avaient pas l'intention." C'est le genre d'amour que Jésus avait: "Père, pardonne-leur, ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font."
E-33 There's where it is tonight. God has to give it. Then love produces a fellowship. Now, when God said back there... The day that sin had separated that Divine love, God told Adam and Eve not to eat these certain fruits, and they did, and sin brought separation. And sin by separation brought hatred, malice, strife, envy. Is that right? What happened? They separated from Divine love.
And when you separate from Divine love, then you can't overlook your brother's mistakes no more. You got to bawl him out for it. That's right. You can't overlook sister's mistakes no more. Because you've got away from that Divine part, that love part. But if you really love the Lord Jesus, if sister or brother, does something to you, "Oh, well, that's all right, they didn't mean to do it." That's the kind of love that Christ had, "Father, forgive them; they don't know what they're doing."
E-34 Que serait-il arrivé s'Il avait retenu mes péchés à ma charge? Quelle horrible personne j'étais, mais Il m'a tellement aimé qu'Il me les a pardonnés. Quand j'étais imparfait, Il m'a pardonné. Il m'a aimé, d'un amour pur. Et quand Adam s'était séparé de ce pur amour qui consistait à garder la Parole de Dieu dans son coeur, quand il a fait ça, alors il s'est mis... ces autres facultés se sont installées: la malice, l'envie, la dispute, la haine et tout le reste.
Eh bien, quand Dieu a vu que Ses enfants s'étaient séparés, Il est descendu pour la communion, et il n'y avait personne là pour L'accueillir. Vous rappelez-vous l'autre soir quand j'ai prêché sur la femme qui avait lavé les pieds de Jésus? Il n'était pas le bienvenu chez les pharisiens. Il n'est pas le bienvenu ce soir chez beaucoup de gens. Il n'est pas le bienvenu dans beaucoup d'églises, dans beaucoup de villes.
E-34 What if He'd held my sins against me? What an awful person I was, but He loved me so well that He forgave me for them. When I was undone, He forgave me. He loved me, a pure love. And when Adam separated hisself from pure love of keeping God's Word in his heart, when he did that, then he begin... These other faculties come in: malice, envy, strife, hatred, so forth.
Now, when God seen that His children had separated, He come down for fellowship, and there was no one there to welcome Him. Remember the other night when I preached on the woman washing Jesus' feet? He was unwelcome by the Pharisees. He's unwelcome tonight in many people. He's unwelcome in many churches, many cities.

E-35 Look when Israel was dividing up their lands. There was, I believe it was, Gad was one of them, and perhaps, the half tribe; they didn't go over into the promised land; they stayed on this side, borderline. Jesus visit that same people. And look at the results of staying out of the full benefits of God's love.
When Jesus visit them He went over in Gadara; that's where they were dwelt; that's where they made... That's where they come from, right there. And their attitude was still the same way. Because that--they had--it cost them a bunch of hogs to have the meeting, they asked Jesus to leave their land. They didn't want nothing to do with it; they had their own ways; they had their own churches. They didn't want nothing to do with Jesus, so they asked Him to leave the land.
E-36 Mais Il est parti malgré tout parce qu'Il y avait une seule âme qui L'appelait. E-36 But He went anyhow because there was one soul calling for Him. Just think, crossed that stormy lake, over across there to find one soul in need; that was His love for one needy soul. He will come from glory tonight to this school auditorium for one needy soul that'll believe Him.
And so then, when sin came in, it separated man from fellowship. Notice what God did to bring man back to fellowship. He introduced to the world a Blood redemption. God killed animals and put for their skin, showing a blood redemption. And there God, after being separated from His--from His creatures, God laid out the welcome mat back home by the shedding of the blood. And that was then, and has been, and will always be, God's provided preparation for fellowship with Him is through the shed Blood.
E-37 Mon ami, écoute-moi juste quelques instants, car je vois que j'ai encore douze minutes. Ecoutez, je voudrais vous poser une question, on a crié - on a essayé par tous les moyens de remplacer le Sang par l'instruction. Ça ne marchera jamais. As Brother Tommy Hicks, that wonderful little brother was here today giving us his story back in behind the Iron Curtain. There Russia, in all of its culture and science, trying to bring a fellowship through communism, through science, and culture, and denying the Blood of Jesus, when the Blood of Christ is the only way that you can have fellowship. Nothing will take its place. Thanks be to God. You don't have to be smart; you don't have to be intelligent; you just have to have a humble submitted heart. Think of it. He introduced Blood.

J'ai pitié des papas et des mamans aujourd'hui, étant moi-même parent, connaissant une seule raison; j'essaie d'éloigner mes enfants de notre ville, nous n'avons pas d'écoles chrétiennes là. Et je veux les amener quelque part où ils pourront être formés dans une école, dans une bonne école fondamentaliste où ils apprendront à aimer le Seigneur, l'enseignement que je peux leur donner à la maison, cependant ils sortent en compagnie de cette foule de mondains, le diable est un gars rusé et il leur inculque ça. Si vous les gardez sous l'Esprit jusqu'à ce qu'ils deviennent assez grands pour recevoir le Saint-Esprit et pour savoir ce qu'il en est, alors Dieu prendra soin du reste. Mais, ils doivent d'abord passer leur petite période d'adolescence.
E-38 Now, I want you to watch closely now. We speaking of Job awhile ago, Job used this same preparation. The oldest Book in the Bible, even before Genesis was written, Job was written. And Job was a righteous man, a man who feared God. And troubles came to him. But I want you to notice just before the troubles come, Job made preparation for this trouble.
Listen, friend, sinner friend, there's trouble right ahead of you tonight. And that's the valleys of the shadows of death. You better make preparations for the only Friend Who can walk with you through that. Right, make preparations for it.
Job had a bunch of daughters and sons. And when he knew that they were out... like birds... People raise up children today. I feel sorry for fathers and mothers today, being a parent myself, and knowing one reason; I'm trying to get my children away from our city; we don't have any Christian schools there. And I want to get them somewhere where they'll be brought up in school, in a real fundamental school where they'll learn to love the Lord. The teaching that I can give them around home, yet they get out with that worldly crowd; the Devil is a shrewd fellow, and he pushes that into them. If you keep them under the Spirit until they get old enough to receive the Holy Ghost and know what it's all about, then God will take care of the rest of it. But first they got them little adolescent days.

Little children, little boys and girls killing and murder, and shooting, and so forth like that. If those poor little kiddies only realized that that's the Devil, sure.

E-40 What brought on juvenile delinquency was parent delinquency, the parent failing to take care of the children. You remember a few years ago, when my boy was born; that has been about, I think he's about nineteen now. I remember the doctor told my wife, said, "Just let that kid squall." Said, "It ain't going to hurt him. And if grandma comes along to pick him up," said, "take her--keep her hands off of him." Said, "He ought to be crib broke at six months old."
Now, you know better than that. Sounds like a talking of a witch doctor instead of a real doctor. And then you know what it hatched out? It hatched out a bunch of neurotics and a bunch of gangsters. Listen. God gave you that baby to love. I don't care how bad you spoil it; love it anyhow. That's right. Love it. If you don't love it now, it'll grow up in a cold home and indifferent, and it'll seek love somewhere, or something. It'll make an out-light for somewhere. Mother, take that baby and give it fellowship and love now. Make it a part of you, which it is, and act like it, and hug it, and kiss it, and--and love it. Don't be too cold with the things of the world. God gave you that as a treasure; raise it right. Amen.
Notice, that's what's the matter; we got away from the things of God. You get away from nature, and then you're out of the will of God.

And mother and father, if we would quit spending money on our children learning tap dancing, and things like that, and some kind of "how to be a actor," and put more time a pleading the Blood of Jesus up over them, and showing them love and fellowship, we'd get along better. The child would too. Teach your child.

They could tell you he was from Tennessee, when he was born, and all about it. He wore a coonskin cap, and killed a bear when he was three, and all these kind of fiction things. They know all about David Crockett. And you're willing, and like to tell him about it.
Well, if they could learn about David Crockett, and dress like David Crockett, and act like David Crockett, surely you could teach them about Jesus Christ, and they would act like Jesus Christ, and love Jesus Christ, as well as they could love David Crockett. Fellowship around the Bible. Tell them Jesus loves them.

There was a William Tell true, but he never shot no apple off his boy's head, no, no nothing about it. But it's just fiction and--and stories that's told. Let's get the truth to the people. Let's not fellowship with that; let's fellowship with God, and with the Bible, and with the Holy Spirit. Make preparations for our children.

Pour votre véhicule, vous l'entretenez avec les huiles de ri - ricin, et de bonnes huiles, dans le moteur, c'est vraiment épais, et vous débosselez cela afin qu'il puisse être vendu. Voyez? Toutes ces autres choses, le test. Dieu soumet Ses enfants à une épreuve. Je suis très heureux pour ça. Alors, Il peut vous manifester Son amour.
E-45 And notice, when the trials finally come, and Job went through the testing... Oh I love it. Excuse me, I'm not emotional, but I just get to feeling good. I love it. Testing, God testing His children... Don't you love it? Every trial in the testing, proving ground; this is a testing time, God testing His people, getting them ready.
Before you buy a team of horses, you go out and test them, check them. Let them pull awhile; run them see if they're wind broken, got lemons in their nose and so forth. Oh, you didn't know you put lemons in the nose for a wind broken horse? Huh. You do. All right. About your automobile, doctor it up with ca--castor oils, and fine oils, in the motor's real thick and take the knock out of it so that they can sell it. See? All these other things, testing. God puts His children through the testing. I'm so happy for it. So He can show His love to you.

Car il avait suivi la voie de Dieu et il était connecté à Dieu. Et une fois que vous êtes connecté à Dieu par le Sang versé, vous savez qu'il y a là quelque chose. Vous ne prenez pas la théologie, vous prenez ce que le Sang témoigne pour vous. Voilà.
E-46 Now, the testing, Job went on the test block for God. He hadn't sinned; they said he had sinned, but he didn't. Why did he know he hadn't sinned? He knowed he'd come the only way there was to come, through the shed blood. He'd made a sacrifice; he confessed his sins upon the basis of the shed blood. He knowed he was justified in the sight of God no matter what anybody said. He knew he was just, because he was justified by his faith in God's provided sacrifice. He believed it. All right.
And when the testings come, it proved out to be true. God took everything he had. He took His children, killed all them. Took all of his cattle, and sheep, camels, killed all of them. Done everything and broke his own body out, took his health. But he still loved the Lord. Because he had come God's way and had made connections with God. And once you connect God through the shed Blood, you know that there's something to it. You're not taking theology; you're taking what the Blood witnesses to you. There you are.

Il vous rencontrera uniquement sous le Sang versé.
Le seul lieu où Dieu rencontrait Israël, c'était sous le sang versé. La seule voie par laquelle Il pouvait parler à Adam et Eve, c'était sous le Sang versé. La seule voie par laquelle Il pouvait parler à Job, c'était sous le Sang versé.
E-47 And notice, God restored to him all that he lost; it doubled. He doubled his sheep; He double the camels. But you notice, He just give him seven children, just what he had. What children was that? It was the same children he'd lost. They were under the Blood. They were in glory waiting for him. That's the way to have our children, isn't it. That's right. Give him back his children, sure, he's with them, tonight and will be forever more.
Israel had the shed blood of the lamb, the only way. And the only place that Israel could worship was under the shed blood. All the sacrifices and everything was brought into one common place, and there on the brazen altar they burnt the bodies and sprinkled the blood. And God (Listen, here it is now.), God only met Israel under the shed blood. The only meeting place, that God makes His people is under the shed blood, no other way. He won't meet you in your denomination. He won't, as good as it may be. He won't meet you with your education, your theology, as good as it may be. He will only meet you under the shed Blood.
The only place that God met Israel was under the shed blood. The only way He could talk to Adam and Eve, under the shed blood. The only way He could talk to Job, under the shed blood.
E-48 Et la seule voie par laquelle... Remarquez. Les gens devaient venir là où le Sang a été versé. Comprenez-vous cela? Et chaque croyant qui venait au temple s'arrêtait d'abord dans les parvis. Juste pour un instant, il s'arrêtait dans les parvis, où étaient gardées les eaux de séparation, et ils étaient aspergés.
Les Eaux de séparation, c'est la Parole. La Parole de Dieu, les Eaux de séparation, par le lavage d'eau de la Parole. Vous venez entendre la Parole, et la première chose qu'Elle fait, Elle vous sépare, afin que vos pensées se détournent du mal pour s'appliquer au bien.
E-48 And the only way... Notice. The people had to come to the place where the blood was shed. Get it? And the only way you'll ever have that perfect fellowship with God is come to the place where the Blood was shed. Where is it? Christ is God's meeting place. We meet together, and set together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. And the Holy Spirit moves into the building when we're under the Blood.
How do we get in Christ Jesus? The first, the elements that came from His body is what we go into His body by. There came from His body water, Blood, Spirit. Spirit is the thing that brings you in. The preparation of the Blood is what cleanses of the waters of separation, as the red heifer was burnt and made waters of separation. And every believer coming to the temple first stopped in the courts. Just a moment, stopped in the courts for the waters of separation was kept there, and they were sprinkled.
The Waters of separation is the Word. The Word of God, the Waters of separation, through the washing of the water by the Word. You come and hear the Word, and the first thing It does, It separates you to move your thoughts from the evil to the good.

Every man that cometh into this wonderful fellowship first must ("Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the Word.")--then recognize the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's welcome mat back home to fellowship. And he must recognize the Blood was shed for you; His Life was given here on earth that you might have fellowship.

Et un pentecôtiste, et un nazaréen et un pèlerin de la sainteté, un presbytérien, qui que nous soyons, nous pouvons nous serrer la main, les uns aux autres, et communier les uns avec les autres, quand le sang de Jésus-Christ nous purifie de tout péché. J'ai dépassé mon temps. C'est pour ça que nous sommes ici. Dieu a envoyé Son Fils, ne le croyez-vous pas? Il a donné Son Fils afin que nous puissions vivre. Le Fils devait verser Son sang. Il a ressuscité Son corps; Son corps et les os sont dans la Présence de Dieu ce soir. Mais Son sang continue à tacher la terre.
E-50 Then the Holy Spirit, as you come behind the veil into the curtains here, baptizes you, the water, Blood, Spirit. Baptizes you into the Body of Christ... Then... Here it is, brother, sister, listen closely now; we're closing. That's when you'll never call them holy-roller no more. No. Once get behind the curtain, that is, His flesh, let the Holy Spirit cleanse you by the Blood, bring you into Christ. Then you have fellowship. The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin at the door, now we have fellowship one with another.
Think of it. A Methodist brother can shake my hand as a Baptist. And a Pentecostal, and a Nazarene, and a Pilgrim Holiness, Presbyterian, whatever we are, we can shake one another's hands and have fellowship one with another, when the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. Hope you see it.
My time is passed. That's why we're here. God sent His Son, don't you believe it? He gave His Son that we might live. The Son had to shed His Blood. He resurrected His body; His body and bones is in the Presence of God tonight. But His Blood still stains the earth.
E-51 Et au travers ce Sang versé provient. La vie se trouve dans le sang, et la Vie, c'est le Saint-Esprit qui est revenu. Reconnaissez-vous qu'Il est ressuscité des morts ce soir, frère chrétien? Mon ami pécheur, je vous aime; Dieu sait que je ne veux pas que vous soyez pécheur. Dieu ne veut pas que vous soyez pécheur. Mais voudriez-vous jouir d'une véritable communion comme vous n'en avez jamais eu auparavant? Cela dépassera une tasse de café et une cigarette n'importe quand. Cela dépassera boire le whisky ou faire des beuveries la nuit pour souiller les vertus d'une fille, et quoi que ce soit. Ne voudriez-vous pas venir ce soir? Vous dites: "Ô Dieu, sois miséricordieux envers moi pécheur; je veux avoir communion. Je veux avoir quelque chose de réel dans ma vie."
E-51 And through that shed Blood, come forth... The life is in the blood, and the Life is the Holy Ghost which is come back. Jesus said, "A little while (Listen.) and the world will see Me no more; yet you shall see Me, for I'll be fellowshipping with you to the end of the world. I (personal pronoun) will be fellowshipping; I'll be with you. "Wherever two or three are gathered together, I'll be in their midst, fellowshipping with you to the end of the world."
Do you recognize that He's raised from the dead tonight, Christian brother? Sinner friend of mine, I love you; God knows I don't want you to be a sinner. God don't want you to be a sinner. But would you like to enjoy a real fellowship like you've never had before? It'll beat a cup of coffee and a cigarette any time. It'll beat a drink of whiskey, or a carousing night to spoil the morals of some girl, or whatever. Won't you come tonight? Say, "God, be merciful to me a sinner; I want fellowship. I want to get something in my life that's real."
E-52 Jésus est réel. Il est ressuscité des morts. Heavenly Father, these who are coming, no one would raise their hand, and of course, Lord, less something knocked at their heart in this cruel, dark, evil day that we're living. How that men and women's got away from You. How the world through culture and through science, has moved plumb out of the category of God. And we're looking today at the city and looking there and seeing the buildings begin to break down, seeing the streets breaking in, showing, many years ago they were--they were good streets, good buildings. But they're getting old now. The old world all over is just setting, waiting for judgment.

S'Il Te plaît, Dieu bien-aimé, ces gens paient de leur poche, ils m'aident à vivre. Ils achètent de la nourriture pour mes enfants. Ils.... Ô Dieu, je ne sais tout simplement pas quoi dire, mon coeur bat. Pas pour qu'ils puissent m'entendre, mais pour que Toi, Seigneur, je Te prie de pardonner à chacun d'eux et que Tu les fasses entrer dans la parfaite communion ce soir. Fais-le, ô Dieu, pour moi, je T'en prie. Je T'aime, et Tu as dit que si je demande n'importe quoi Tu le feras.
Et puis, guéris tous les malades ce soir, je Te prie, Père? Tu es ici sur l'estrade maintenant même. Et je sais que Tu feras ces choses. Et ouvre les yeux de ces gens ce soir. Peut-être que la plupart ne T'ont jamais vu agir dans Ta grande puissance, mais puissent-ils voir le Seigneur Jésus dans Sa glorieuse communion.

Just like some woman or man that's lived their life in sin, setting in a corner with a hagged look, and waiting for death, and gritting in their teeth, and would do anything evil if they could, a wretched person waiting for their judgment, their eternal destination be pronounced upon them... How it could be different. How they could even be old, but yet neatly, and lovely, and old mother, served their life for God in purity and womanhood, waiting for her reward. God, be merciful.
Please, dear God, these people go in their pockets; they help me to live. They pay for my children's food. They... God, I just don't what to say; my heart beats. Not that they can hear me, but that You, Lord, I pray that You forgive every one of them and bring them into a perfect fellowship this night. Do that, God, for me, won't You? I love You, and You said if I ask anything You would do it.
And then heal all the sick tonight, won't You, Father? You're here at the platform just now. And I know that You'll do these things. And open the eyes of those people tonight. Maybe many has never seen You work in Your great power, but may they see the Lord Jesus in His great fellowship.

Now, I'm a man, so was He a man. He was the Son of God, begotten, virgin born. I'm a sinner saved by grace. His grace saved me. So through that He opened up a channel by election. By foreknowledge, He opened a channel in my heart to give Hisself a place there that He could work out to you people. It's your faith that does it, not mine; I couldn't do it. You say, "Brother Branham, stand up--stand up--stand up, and you tell me what's wrong with me." I couldn't tell you. It takes your faith to do that. See?
The woman that touched His garment and went out, He said, "Thy faith has made thee whole." Let's speak to Him once more.

Then if He'd do that one time... When Moses, God told him what he was to do, and he went down there, and performed that sign before Israel, every one of them believed and marched out. Is that right? Now, we ought to believe too. It oughtn't to be just ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, everlasting. It should just be once and you say, "That's it." And we ought to gather ourselves together in this loving Christian Spirit that we're in, lay our hands on one another, and pray, get up out of our chair and say, "Thank You, dear Lord Jesus, I now go with a heart full of love with the assurance that You're Almighty God that keeps Your Word." That ought to settle it. See?
