Je suis heureux d’être ici ce soir pour vous saluer de nouveau dans le Nom de notre très Aimable Seigneur ressuscité, qui est dans la gloire de Sa résurrection, et qui est ici ce soir pour nous bénir. Je suis très heureux d’être ici et d’avoir ce privilège.
Mon fils venait de me dire, il y a quelques instants, pendant que nous étions là dans le bureau, attendant d’entrer dans la salle, quand les gens se sont mis à chanter Crois seulement, il s’est tourné vers moi, et j’étais en train de prier. J’ai levé les yeux, et il a dit: «Papa, combien de fois ce cantique t’a-t-il appelé à monter sur l’estrade?» Des milliers de fois à travers le monde, dans toutes les différentes sortes de langues.
J’ai entendu les autochtones d’Afrique le dire, le chanter tous dans environ seize différents dialectes, tous à la fois chanter Crois seulement. Et on les rassemblait, on les gardait séparés par une barrière à cause des guerres tribales–tribales. Et cependant ils ont tous ensemble chanté Crois seulement. Et quel merveilleux...
J’ai dit: «Oui, un glorieux jour, si je pars avant que Jésus revienne, et pendant qu’on sera en train de m’enterrer, ils vont chanter Crois seulement. Si vous voyez cela dans le journal ou quelque chose d’autre, que vous entendez cela à la radio ou quoi que ce soit, si quelqu’un vous le dit, arrêtez-vous une minute et pensez à ce cantique: Crois seulement.
En effet, je crois qu’un jour je sortirai de là, aussi sûr que–que je vais y entrer.
| E-1 May be seated if will just in a moment. Good evening, friends. I'm happy to be here tonight to greet you again in the Name of our lovely, risen Lord, Who is in the glory of His resurrection, and He's present tonight to bless us. So happy to be here and to have this privilege.
My son just said a few moments ago, while standing in the room, while we were waiting to come in, when they started singing, "Only Believe," he looked around at me and I was praying. I looked up, and he said, "Daddy, how many times has that called you to the platform?" Thousands across the world in all different kinds of languages.
I heard the natives of Africa with about sixteen different vocabularies calling it, all singing, "Only Believe," at once. And had the treat, keep them fenced off on account of tribal-- tribal wars. And yet they all sang together "Only Believe." And what a wonderful...
I said, "Yes, some glorious day, if I go before Jesus comes, and when they're putting me down in the ground, they're going to sing, 'Only Believe.'" If you see it in the newspaper or something another, hear it on the radio or whatever, somebody tells you, stop just a minute and think of that song, "Only Believe."
'Cause I believe that someday I'll come out of there just as sure as--as I go in.

E-2 Quelqu’un a dit, il n’y a pas longtemps, il m’a dit, il a dit: «Frère Branham, j’aimerais vous parler d’une police d’assurance.» Eh bien, l’assurance c’est bien. Je n’ai rien contre cela, mais je ne me préoccupe pas de ce type d’assurance.
Et ainsi cet agent semblait penser que j’ai un peu perdu la tête à ce sujet. Mais, peut-être que c’est le cas, mais j’avais été floué, mon père avait été floué une fois par une compagnie d’assurance. On lui avait vendu un capital différé de vingt ans, et il était censé payer autant à un certain moment. Le moment venu, c’était censé valoir cinq cents dollars et il avait mal lu cela. Ça faisait un total d’un dollar cinquante cents.
Et je n’ai jamais souscrit à une assurance. Ainsi donc, ayant vu comment mon vieux papa a dû travailler pour cela et ensuite être comme cela...?.. mon frère et moi. Et je–et j’ai dit... Un de mes amis a dit: «Eh bien, Billy, j’aimerais te vendre une assurance.»
J’ai dit: «Oh! Wilmer, je n’en ai pas besoin.» J’ai dit: «J’ai une assurance.»
«Oh! a-t-il dit, c’est vrai?»
J’ai dit: «Oui, j’ai une assurance.»
Et un–il a dit heu... ma femme m’a regardé comme pour dire: «Tu racontes des histoires?»
Et j’ai dit: «Non, j’ai l’assurance.»
Il a dit: «Quelle assurance as-tu, Billy?»
J’ai dit: «Assurance bénie, Jésus est mien.»
Et alors, il a dit: «Eh bien, c’est très bien, Billy, mais ce n’est pas cela qui t’amènera au cimetière.»
J’ai dit: «Cela m’en fera sortir.» C’est ce que je désire...?... Je ne me soucie pas de comment y entrer, mon problème c’est comment en sortir. Alors j’aimerais en avoir une qui me fera entrer là au lieu de–ou plutôt qui me fera sortir de là au lieu de celle qui m’y fera entrer.
L’assurance bénie, Jésus est mien.
Oh! quel avant-goût de la gloire divine!
Un héritier du salut, acquis de Dieu, Né de Son Esprit et lavé dans Son Sang.
| E-2 Someone said, not long ago, said to me, said, "Brother Branham, I would like to talk to you about an insurance policy." Now, insurance is fine. I have nothing against it, but I don't carry any of this kind of insurance.
And so the agent seemed to think that I'm a little off about it. But, maybe I am, but I was mistreated, my father was one time by an insurance company. He was sold a twenty year endowment was supposed to pay off so much at a certain time. When it come time, it supposed to be worth five hundred dollars and he misread it. It was a dollar and fifty cents total.
And I just never taken any insurance. So then, seen how my old dad had to work for that and then be like that...?... my brother and I. And I--and I said... A friend of mine said, "Why, Billy, I just want to sell you some insurance."
I said, "Oh, Wilmer, I don't want it." I said, "I've got insurance."
"Oh," he said, "you have?"
I said, "Yeah, I got insurance."
And a--he said a... My wife looked down at me as if to think, "Are you storying?"
And I said, "No, I have insurance."
He said, "What insurance do you have, Billy?"
I said, "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine."
And so, he said, "Well, that's all right, Billy, but that won't put you in a graveyard."
I said, "It'll take me out. That's the thing I want...?... I'm not worried about getting in there, it's getting out...?... So I'd rather have one that'll take in there instead--or take me out of there instead of one to put me in there.
The blessed assurance of Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
A heir of salvation, purchased of God,
Borned of His Spirit and washed in His Blood.

E-3 Quelle–quelle merveilleuse chose! Eh bien, ce soir j’ai promis, par la grâce de Dieu, de vous laisser sortir de bonne heure. Je suis... Vous savez, je ne prêche pas en me servant des notes. Je ne prémédite pas ce que je vais dire. C’est simplement l’inspiration. Et ce que je sens, je le dis tout simplement. Et aussi longtemps que cela continue à venir, je continue de parler. Ainsi je ne sais pas–je ne sais pas faire mieux.
Et alors, je devais avoir pitié de ceux qui allaient travailler, toutefois, en faisant les choses. Mes frères et soeurs, j’ai vraiment honte de vous garder si longtemps, et ce n’est pas intentionnel. Mais je–je vous aime tout simplement, et je pense que vous êtes une très bonne et attentive assistance. Et c’est un plaisir pour tout ministre de prêcher à une assistance comme celle que nous avons ici chaque soir.
Et je–j’apprécie cela. Et je ne dis pas cela pour vous flatter. Je–je le dis parce que c’est la vérité. Et si ce n’était pas la vérité, alors je ne dirais rien du tout, je continuerais donc tout simplement. Mais, oui, je pense que je préférerais vous donner un–un petit bouton de rose maintenant, plutôt que toute une couronne après votre mort. Vous voyez? Alors ce serait mieux de le faire maintenant même. Et ça a été un plaisir.
| E-3 What a--what a beautiful thing that is. Well, now, tonight I promised by the grace of God, I'm to let you out early. I am... You know, I don't preach by notes. I don't premeditate anything you're going to say. And it's just inspiration. And just as I feel, I just say it. And as long as it keeps coming, I just keep talking. So I just don't know--I just don't know any better.
And so I ought to have mercy on those that were going to work, though, doing things. My brothers and sisters, I certainly feel ashamed of keeping you that long, and I don't mean to do it. But I--I just love you, and I think you're very fine, listening audience. And it's a pleasure for any minister to preach to an audience like we've had here each night.
And I--I appreciate that. And I'm not saying that complimentary. I'm just--I'm saying that because it's the truth. And if it wasn't the truth, then I wouldn't say nothing at all, so just go ahead. But, yeah, I think I'd rather give you a--a little rose bud now, than a whole wreath after you're dead. You see? So it's best to do it right now. And it's been a pleasure.

E-4 J’ai été un peu nerveux, parce que je... depuis que je suis ici et que je n’ai pas pu apporter mon sujet et ainsi de suite et prêcher comme je le devais. Et j’ai commencé quelque chose. Depuis longtemps mes réunions vont toujours mal. C’est ce que j’ai constaté.
Alors j’ai demandé au Père de m’aider, et j’ai vu mon courrier diminuer, allant de mille cinq cents lettres par jour à presque quinze lettres par jour, parce que personne ne s’intéressait à moi. J’étais parti quelque part et j’ai attendu que le Seigneur me parle d’un mouvement avant que cela ait commencé. Et ce n’était donc pas un acte de foi, il était simplement question d’attendre, d’attendre et d’attendre.
Et le Seigneur m’avait en quelque sorte examiné là-dessus, alors je me suis proposé à ce moment-là, s’Il voulait bien m’aider, d’aller faire quelque chose d’autre. Et dès que vous commencez à faire quelque chose pour Dieu, alors attendez-vous à ce que toutes les armes de l’enfer soient braquées sur vous. Voyez?
| E-4 I've been a little nervous, because I--since I've been up here and I haven't been able to carry my text and so forth and to minister like I should. I have started something. My meetings has always been a low ebb for a long time. I've seen it.
So I asked the Father to help me, and I seen the dropping down in my mail, drop from fifteen hundred letters a day down to about fifteen letters a day, because no one could put their finger on me. I was gone somewhere and waiting till the Lord told me for a move before it ever moved. And it wasn't a act of faith then, it was just simply just waiting, waiting, waiting.
And the Lord kindy checked me up on that, so I purposed in my heart, then, if He would help me that I was going to do different. And just as you start to do something for God, then expect all the guns of hell to turn right on you. See?

E-5 Et j’étais victime d’une intoxication alimentaire l’autre soir, et j’ai failli y passer. Je suis très faible et très nerveux depuis que je suis ici. Mais vous... le Seigneur a été bon envers moi. Je me sens mieux, et je m’en suis en quelque sorte tiré maintenant. Et je ne prends que ce qui est mou ou quelque chose comme cela, parce que cela me dérange tout le temps. J’étais victime d’une intoxication alimentaire, et cela s’est répandu partout dans mon corps, et–et tout.
Et je Lui ai tout simplement fait confiance, et Il m’est venu en aide. Et je réclame vos prières afin qu’Il continue... Ce n’est pas que je mérite de vivre, mais c’est à cause de l’Evangile que je désire vivre. C’est que lorsque ce moment viendra, je voudrais essayer de faire tout ce que je peux et y investir toute ma vie, et désormais... j’ai oublié les frères, et...
| E-5 And I got poisoned the other night, and I almost slipped out of life. I been real weak and nervous since I've been here. But you--the Lord has been good to me. I feel better, and kindy coming out of it now. I just been eating soft food or something, because it's upset me all through. I was just poisoned, broke out all over my body and--and everything.
And I just trusted Him, and He seen me through. And I desire your prayers that He will continue... Not that I deserve to live, but because of the Gospel is what I want to live for. That's when that time comes, I want to try to do everything that I can and put all my life in, and from henceforth, I've bypassed brethren, and...

E-6 Mon secrétaire m’a appelé et il a dit: «Billy, ce n’est pas juste vis-à-vis des gens.» Il a dit: «Vous avez un ministère. Il y a–il y a des appels venant de quatre cents grandes villes de l’Amérique maintenant ici même sur mon bureau.» Et il a dit: «En plus, c’est pratiquement toutes les nations sous les cieux qui appellent. Et voilà que vous venez et repartez discrètement, et vous vous détournez de celui-ci et de celui-là juste pour faire des arrangements et laisser tomber. Personne ne sait où vous trouver.» Voyez?
«Vous êtes là dans les bois ou très épuisé quelque part, ou vous êtes parti ici,» quelque chose comme cela, «mais n’allez-vous pas vous installer pour continuer?» Alors j’ai prié pour cela, et le Seigneur m’a fait comprendre que c’était juste. Alors Il a carrément commencé, et j’ai prié que Dieu m’aide, me donne de la force. Et je compte sur vous tous pour vos prières en ma faveur.
| E-6 My secretary called me and he said, "Billy, it's not fair to the people." He said, "You got a ministry. Here's--here's four hundred major cities in America calling you right now right here on my desk." And said, "Besides pretty near every nation under the heavens is calling. And here you are a slip in and slip out, and turn from this one and that one just to make arrangements and just bypass around. Nobody knows where to catch you. See?"
"You're out in the woods or done somewhere, or gone here." Something like that, "But won't you settle yourself down and go on?" So I prayed over it, and the Lord let me know that that was right. So He started right off, and I prayed that God will help me, give me strength. And I'm depending on you all for your prayers for me.

E-7 Maintenant, il y a quelques mouchoirs ici sur lesquels il faut prier. Et ce soir, j’ai essayé de prêcher, si seulement je pouvais le faire pendant un instant, vous parler d’un petit sujet, pour vous permettre de mieux vous familiariser avec le ministère.

La plupart d’entre vous les frères, peut-être, qui êtes membres de cette belle organisation de–des Hommes d’Affaires Chrétiens. Ils ont été très gentils envers moi. J’ai prêché pour eux partout. | E-7 Now, here's some handkerchiefs here to be prayed over. And tonight, I tried to give to preaching, if I could just for a little bit, just a little text to talk to you, to get you better acquainted with the ministry.
Tomorrow morning is the Christian Businessmen's breakfast. And I think minister's wives and whatmore is invited, anybody that wants to come is invited. And I... Many of you brethren, perhaps, are members of this fine organization of--of the Christian Businessmen. They have been very kind to me. I've spoke for them everywhere. And they have been very kind.
Demas Shakarian, their President, Miner Arganbright, Vice President, and many of the others, and Tommy Nicholson as the editor of their paper... And I'm always happy to get to help them because it's in the line.

E-8 Moi-même, lorsque j’étais baptiste et que je suis venu vers vous les gens du Plein Evangile, la première chose... Chaque dénomination voulait que je vienne adhérer à leur groupe. Je n’ai pas voulu le faire, parce que si vous le faites, la petite influence que je possède, cela la fait passer à une dénomination. J’ai essayé de me tenir juste à la brèche et de dire: «Nous sommes frères; tous, nous sommes frères.»
Et j’aime voir toutes les églises unir leurs efforts pour le Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Et maintenant, c’est là le mobile que je poursuis: garder cela ainsi et me tenir juste à la brèche et n’adhérer à aucune dénomination, rester juste au milieu, afin que nous soyons des frères sans que nous ayons de différents sentiments, et dire: «Eh bien, c’est un presbytérien, ou c’est un baptiste, ou un pentecôtiste.» Je suis simplement votre frère. C’est tout.
Et euh, ainsi, vos dénominations sont très bien; elles sont chouettes. Je–je les aime toutes. Mais ce n’est pas ça qui vous amène au Ciel. C’est Christ qui vous amène au Ciel, votre foi en Christ.
| E-8 Myself, when I was a Baptist and coming to you full Gospel people, the first thing... Each denomination wanted to come and join their rank. I wouldn't do that, because if you do, what little influence I have, it throws it to one denomination. I've tried to stand right in the breach and say, "We're brethren, all, we're brethren."
And I like to see a united effort for all churches for the Lord Jesus Christ. And now, that's my motive is to keep that that way and just stand in the breach and don't join any certain denomination, just stay in between, so we can be brothers and not have any different feelings, and say, "Well, now, he's a Presbyterian, or he's a Baptist, or Pentecostal." I'm just your brother. That's all.
And a--so your denominations are fine; they're dandy. I--I love them, every one. But they're not what takes you to heaven. Christ is what takes you to heaven, your faith in Christ.

E-9 Ainsi donc, à propos de ces mouchoirs, le plus glorieux ministère que le Seigneur m’a donné c’est pratiquement concernant les mouchoirs. Oh! je pourrais passer des heures à vous en parler. Et nous en envoyons des milliers par mois, dans le monde entier.
Et je suis content de voir que vous croyez la Bible. Or, beaucoup de gens déversent... Un grand nombre de gens, plutôt, déversent de l’huile sur les malades et les oignent. C’est très bien. C’est bien. Tout ce que le Seigneur bénit, je suis pour cela. Mais si vous observez bien dans les Ecritures, ce n’est pas que les gens–Paul les avait oints. Les gens retiraient des mouchoirs et des linges qui avaient touché son corps, Actes 19.
Bon, vous savez, je crois que Paul était un fondamentaliste. Je crois qu’il se basait vraiment sur les Ecritures pour tout ce qu’il faisait. Savez-vous où je pense qu’il a trouvé cela? Je pense qu’il a tiré cela de ce passage où Elie, lorsque la Sunamite est venue vers lui et qu’il s’est enquis au sujet de son enfant. Et Elie a dit à Guéhazi de prendre son bâton et d’aller le poser sur l’enfant. En effet, Elie savait que tout ce qu’il touchait était béni, et si la femme pouvait simplement croire cela de cette même manière.
Alors je pense que c’est là que Paul a eu son Ecriture pour cette pratique de retirer des mouchoirs et des linges qui avaient touché son corps. Toutefois, ceux-ci sont des mouchoirs qui représentent des malades.
| E-9 So now, on these handkerchiefs, the greatest ministry that the Lord has given me almost is on handkerchiefs. Oh, I could spend hours just on telling about it. And we send out thousands of those a month, all over the world.
And I'm glad to see that you believe the Bible. Now, a lot of people pour... many people, rather, pour oil on them and anoint them. That's all right. That's fine. Whatever the Lord will bless, I'm for it. But if you'll watch in the Scripture, it wasn't that they--Paul anointed them. They taken from his body, Acts 19, handkerchiefs and aprons.
Now, you know, I believe Paul was a fundamentalist. I believe he was very Scriptural on what he done. You know where I think he got that at? I think when he got that out of the Scripture where Elijah, when the Shunammite woman come to him and asked about her baby. And Elijah told Gehazi to take his staff and go lay it on the baby. For Elijah knew what he touched was blessed, if the woman would just believe it the same way.
So I think that's where Paul got his Scripture for taking handkerchiefs and aprons from the body. However, these are some handkerchiefs that represent sick people.

E-10 Avant d’aller plus loin, demandons au Seigneur de bénir ces derniers pour leur effort. Merci, frère.
Maintenant, notre Bienveillant Père céleste, c’est un privilège ce soir, d’avoir–de T’appeler Père, de savoir que Père signifie appartenance. Et nous–nous T’aimons parce que nous T’appartenons, et nous ne nous appartenons pas. Car nous avons été rachetés à un prix, le prix du Sang du Seigneur Jésus.
Et en cela, nous croyons en Toi et Te remercions pour ce pays chrétien où les portes sont encore ouvertes, et où l’Evangile peut être prêché avec la liberté d’expression et de pensée. Et nous T’en remercions.
Et maintenant ce soir, ces gens ont le droit d’apporter ces mouchoirs comme des symboles de leur foi. Très loin là à travers le pays, peut-être dans un petit appartement, il y a un vieux papa aveugle ce soir. Ces mouchoirs vont lui parvenir, une mère va le porter à son enfant qui a une forte fièvre. Nous ne savons pas où cela ira, Père, mais Toi, Tu le sais; Et je Te prie de les bénir. Bénis les gens qui les ont apportés.
| E-10 Before we go any farther, let's ask the Lord to bless these in their effort. Thank you, brother.
Now, our kind, heavenly Father, it's a privilege tonight, to have--to call You Father, to know that "Father" is "ownership." And we--we love Thee because Thou does own us, and we're not our own. For we have been bought by a price, the price of the Blood of the Lord Jesus.
And in that we trust and we thank Thee for this Christian land where the doors are still open, and the Gospel can be preached in a freedom of speech and thought. And we thank Thee for that.
And now tonight, these people have a right to bring these handkerchiefs as tokens of their faith. Way out across the land, maybe some old dad in a little apartment's blind tonight. These handkerchiefs is going to him, some mother taking it to her baby that's raging with a fever. We don't know where they go, Father, but Thou does. And I pray that You'll bless them. Bless the people that packed them.

E-11 Et maintenant, nous avons appris dans les Ecritures qu’un jour lorsqu’Israël avait été coincé, ils essayaient de suivre Dieu, la glorieuse Colonne de Feu, qui les conduisit jusqu’au–au fleuve. Et ils étaient là avec leur conducteur, Moïse. Et ils étaient coincés, avec des montagnes, la mer, et l’armée de Pharaon qui venait à leur poursuite. Ils étaient pris au piège, la nature tremblait. Oh! quelle scène! Mais c’est à ce moment-là que Dieu aime entrer en scène.
L’écrivain a dit: «Il regarda la mer Rouge à travers la Colonne de Feu, avec des yeux courroucés, parce qu’elle barrait au peuple la route vers la Terre promise.» Et la mer prit peur et recula; et les enfants de Dieu traversèrent à pied sec le lit de la mer en direction de la Terre promise.
Dieu notre Père, ce soir, alors que nous envoyons ces mouchoirs–c’est un symbole de notre foi dans l’oeuvre achevée de Christ au Calvaire. Et nous Te remercions du fait que nous avons cette foi et que les gens ont la foi. Et maintenant, lorsque ces mouchoirs seront posés sur les corps malades, et qu’ils arriveront à destination, là où ils vont, nous Te prions de baisser le regard à travers le Sang du Seigneur Jésus, et que la maladie qui est dans le corps prenne peur lorsqu’elle verra ce symbole. Et que les gens soient libérés et s’emparent de la promesse que Dieu a déclarée dans Sa Parole: «Je souhaite que tu prospères à tous égards et sois en bonne santé.» Accorde-le, Père, car c’est dans ce but que nous les envoyons. Au Nom de Ton Fils bien-aimé, le Seigneur Jésus, nous le demandons. Amen.
| E-11 And now, we're taught in the Scripture that one day when Israel had been cornered. They were trying to follow God. The great Pillar of Fire that led them down to the--the river. And there they was with their leader, Moses. And they were cornered, the mountains, the sea, and Pharaoh's army coming, pursuing them. They were trapped; nature trembled. Oh, what a scene. But it's at that time that God likes to come on the scene.
The writer said, "He looked down through the Pillar of Fire with angry eyes at the Red Sea, because it was cutting off the people from the promised land." And the sea got scared, and it moved back, and the children of God passed on through the bed of it on dry land towards the promised land.
Father God, tonight as we send these handkerchiefs, it's a token of our faith in the finished work of Christ at Calvary. And we thank Thee, that we have this faith and the people has faith. And now, when they're laid upon the sick bodies, and they reach their destination where they're--are going, we pray that You'll look down through the Blood of the Lord Jesus, and may the disease get scared that's in the body when they see this token. And may the people be liberated and taken on to the promise that God had said in His Word, "Above all things, I would that you prosper in health." Grant it, Father, for that's the purpose we send them for. In the Name of Thy beloved Child, the Lord Jesus, we ask it. Amen.

E-12 Dans le passage de la Parole bénie du Seigneur Jésus ce soir... J’aime vraiment lire Sa Parole. Et dimanche après-midi j’ai un–un message spécial, si le Seigneur le permet. C’est un... J’aimerais parler dimanche après-midi là à l’académie de musique sur Pourquoi les gens n’arrivent-ils pas à conserver le Saint-Esprit? Voyez? Qu’est-il arrivé? Et pourquoi ne Le reçoivent-ils pas, et à quel moment doivent-ils Le recevoir? Et amenez ceux qui ne sont pas encore sauvés pour dimanche après-midi.
Ce sera un message d’Evangile ordinaire pour dimanche après-midi. Ensuite, le dimanche soir, ce sera la clôture de la–cette partie de campagne. Je pense que c’est frère Hutchins qui va continuer.

E-14 Bon, dans l’Evangile de Saint Matthieu, au verset 24, du chapitre 12 [Matt. 12.42–N.D.T.], j’aimerais lire ceci pour avoir un–un contexte.
La reine du Midi se lèvera, au jour du jugement, avec cette génération et la condamnera, parce qu’elle vint des extrémités de la terre pour entendre la sagesse de Salomon, et voici, il y a ici plus que Salomon.
Et que le Seigneur ajoute Ses bénédictions à la lecture de Sa Parole. Maintenant, combien aiment la Parole? L’aimez-vous de tout votre coeur? Oh! c’est là que notre foi est ancrée: dans la Parole de Dieu. Et maintenant, la foi n’a pas d’autre lieu établi, où elle est ancrée, sinon dans la Parole du Seigneur. Et j’en suis très heureux.
Vous voyez, vous ne pouvez pas être... La foi ne peut pas trouver un–un lieu de repos dans des pensées imaginaires de la théologie faite par l’homme. Cela doit trouver son lieu de repos dans le Rocher éternel de la Parole de Dieu. C’est là qu’elle est ancrée, parce que Dieu l’a dit. Il a dit: «Les cieux et la terre passeront, mais Ma Parole ne faillira jamais.» Ainsi nous avons l’assurance que Sa Parole ne faillit jamais.

And the queen of the south shall rise up in the day of judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
And may the Lord add His blessings to the reading of His Word. Now, how many loves the Word? Do you love It with all your heart? Oh, that's where our faith is anchored: in the Word of God. And now faith has no other stabled, anchored place but in the Word of the Lord. And I'm so glad.
See, you can't be... Faith can't find a--a resting place on the--the imaginary minds of man's self-made theology. It's got to have its resting place in the eternal Rock of God's Word. There it's anchored, because God said so. He said, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word shall never fail." So we can be assured that His Word never fails.

Sa prescience Lui permet de connaître cela, s’Il est le Dieu infini. Eh bien, Il–Il ne peut certainement pas... Il–Il ne veut pas que quelqu’un périsse, mais Il savait dès le commencement. Il connaissait chaque mouche, chaque puce, chaque personne qui vivrait sur la terre, Il les connaissait avant la fondation du monde, parce qu’Il est infini.
| E-15 Now, we're going to speak about gifts tonight and that's the reason I took tonight and to--for this purpose, that we could kindy explain and take my time, watching the clock and take my time, and explain to you what I think gifts are.
Now, the first place, the Bible said that "Gifts and callings are without repentance." It's something that God by sovereign grace put into the church. See? God does that Himself. It's a work and a act of God, and by foreknowledge He predestinates these things to happen.
Now, as I say, "God is not willing that anyone should perish." But in the very beginning God knew who would be saved and who would perish. Foreknowledge let Him know that if He's the infinite God. Why, He--He certainly cannot... He--He's not willing that any should perish, but He knew from the beginning. He knew every fly, every flea, every person that would ever be on the earth, He knew them before the foundation of the world, 'cause He's infinite.

E-16 Et nous savons qu’Il est omniprésent, qu’Il est partout. Il couvre tout l’espace. Il est o-... omniscient, Il est la toute intelligence. Il est omnipotent: Il est la toute puissance. Et c’est là le genre de Dieu que nous servons. Il ne s’agit pas d’une certaine idole païenne; il s’agit du Seigneur Jésus-Christ ressuscité et vivant. Et le Saint-Esprit est l’Esprit du Seigneur Jésus qui couvrait toute la terre. Et Il peut être partout, Il connaît tout. Il possède toute sagesse et toute puissance. Quel Dieu merveilleux!
Et de savoir que non pas–ce n’est pas juste quelque chose de fabriqué, ce n’est pas juste la théologie de quelqu’un, mais qu’Il vit avec nous, se manifeste, et confirme qu’Il est vivant. Oh! ne devrions-nous pas être les gens les plus heureux du monde? Nos coeurs devraient battre la chamade.
| E-16 And we know that He's omnipresent, that He's everywhere. He covers all space. He's o--omniscient; He's all wisdom. He's omnipotent; He's all power. And that's the kind of a God that we serve. It's not some pagan idol. It is a living, resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. And the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of the Lord Jesus that covered the whole earth. And He could be everywhere; He knows all things. He's got all wisdom and all power. What a wonderful God.
And to know that not, it's not just some make-up. It's just not somebody's theology. But He lives with us, shows Himself, and proves Himself alive. Oh, should we not be the most happy people in the world? Our hearts should be racing swiftly.

E-17 Et étant donné que je voyage à travers le monde et vois les différentes nations avec leurs dieux, et leurs idoles, et ainsi de suite et toutes leurs philosophies, et j’ai donc compris que tout cela c’est de la folie... Il n’y en a pas un seul parmi eux, leurs fondateurs sont morts, ils gisent dans la tombe et ont disparu. Il n’y a qu’une seule religion qui peut prouver que son Conducteur vit et règne. Eh bien, on va vous lancer un défi si vous leur dites que vous possédez–que vous pouvez avoir la joie. Eux aussi ont la joie. Vous dites que vous pouvez pousser des cris, vous devriez les voir pousser des cris. Et vous pourrez dire combien vous êtes heureux. Vous devriez voir combien ces gens-là sont heureux.
Mais notre Jésus vient sur scène et fait la même chose qu’Il avait faite lorsqu’Il était ici auparavant. Ainsi cela prouve qu’Il est vivant. Il n’est pas mort. Il est vivant à jamais.
| E-17 And traveling around over the world and seeing the different nations with their gods, and their idols, and so forth and all their philosophies, and then know that they're all foolishness... There's not a one of them, their founders are dead and in the grave and gone. And only one that can prove that their Leader lives and reigns. Now, we'll call your hand if you tell them you got--that you can have joy. They have joy, too. You say you can shout. You ought to see them shout. And you can say how happy you are. You ought to see how happy they are.
But our Jesus comes on the scene and does the same things that He did when He was here before. So that proves that He lives. He is not dead. He's alive forevermore.

E-18 Et n’ayez pas peur, Il est au... Peu importe le nombre de bombes atomiques qu’ils possèdent, le nombre de bombes à hydrogène, et combien ils parlent de telle et telle chose qui vont arriver, ne soyez pas effrayé; Dieu est au gouvernail. Il sait guider. Il sait comment cela finit. Donc nous n’avons rien à craindre, mais soyez simplement de petits enfants aimables, insouciants, qui lèvent les yeux vers le Père à chaque minute, et comptent sur Lui pour nous conduire, nous guider, et nous amener à notre destination par Sa grâce.
Et en L’aimant de cette manière, vous ne ferez rien qui Lui fasse mal. Eh bien, s’il vous arrivait de faire quelque chose qui Lui fasse mal, oh! toute la nuit, vos larmes chaudes de repentance couleraient sur vos joues. Parce que pour rien au monde vous n’aimeriez blesser votre Père. Voudriez-vous... Vous n’aimeriez pas blesser votre petit enfant, vous n’aimeriez pas le faire. Vous n’aimeriez pas blesser les sentiments de votre femme ou de votre mari. A combien plus forte raison votre Seigneur et votre Sauveur? Voudriez-vous, si vous L’aimez...
| E-18 And don't be afraid. He's at... No matter how many atomic bombs they have, how many hydrogen bombs, and how much they speak of this and this is going to happen. Don't be scared. God's at the wheel. He knows just how to steer. He knows just how it's coming out. So we don't have one thing to fear, but be just a lovely, little carefree child, who's looking up to Father every minute, and depending on Him to lead us, guide us, and to take us into our destination by His grace.
And by loving Him that way, you wouldn't do nothing to harm Him. Why, if you'd do anything to harm Him, or all through the night, your hot tears would run down your cheeks in repentance. Because you wouldn't hurt Father for nothing. Would you... You wouldn't hurt your little baby; you'd hate to do that. You'd hate to hurt the feelings of your wife or your husband. How much more your Lord and Saviour? Would you, if you love Him...

E-19 Si vous aimez votre femme, vous n’aimerez pas la blesser. Si vous aimez vos enfants, vous ne voudrez pas leur faire quelque chose de mal. Et qu’en est-il de votre Père céleste? Alors vous voyez: «Quand je parlerais les langues des hommes et des anges, et quand j’aurais toute la connaissance et toute la sagesse, quand j’aurais la foi pour transporter des montagnes, si je n’ai pas l’amour, je ne suis rien. (Voyez?) Les langues cesseront, la prophétie disparaîtra. Et la connaissance disparaîtra, la prophétie prendra fin, et toutes ces choses. Mais quand ce qui est parfait viendra, cela durera éternellement.»

Voilà–voilà mon thème, l’amour. La loi produit la crainte. La loi est négative; les oeuvres sont négatives. Mais l’amour est positif. Voyez? C’est tout à fait positif. Vous pouvez faire confiance à quelqu’un s’il vous aime, non pas parce qu’il vous craint, mais parce qu’il vous aime.
Et c’est ainsi que je Lui fais confiance, parce que je suis certain qu’Il m’aime. Et c’est une affaire d’amour, et non pas une affaire d’oeuvres, ou de crainte, et si, et si, et si, et si... Il n’y a pas de «si» à cela. Dieu l’a fait, et c’est réglé. Alors je L’aime pour cela.
| E-19 If you loved your wife, you wouldn't hurt her. If you loved your children, you wouldn't want to do anything wrong to them. And how about your heavenly Father? So you see, "Though I speak with tongues of men and Angels, and though I have all knowledge and all wisdom, though I have faith to move mountains and have not love, I am nothing. (See?) Where there's tongues, they shall cease and where there's prophecy, it shall vanish. And knowledge shall vanish, and prophecy shall fail, and all these things. But when that which is perfect is come, it endures forever."
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious Blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved, to sin no more. See?
Ever since by faith I saw that stream
Thy flowing wounds supplied,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.
That's--that's my theme, is love. Law works fear. Law is negative; works is negative. But love is positive. See? It's absolutely positive. You can trust anybody when they love you, not because they fear you, but because they love you.
And that's how I trust Him, because I know He loves me. And it's a love affair, and not a works affair, or fear, and if, and if, and if, and if, there's no "if" to it. God's done it, and that settles it. So I love Him for it.

E-20 Eh bien, les dons et les appels sont sans repentance. Tout au travers des âges Dieu a été représenté sur terre par Ses prophètes, par Ses rois. Et cela a toujours été l’Esprit de Dieu. Si nous avions le temps ce soir de remonter jusqu’à Joseph par exemple, déterrer ces pépites et les polir. J’aime...
Je suis un typologue, et je–j’aime prendre les vieux types. N’ayant pas d’instruction, alors je vais recourir à des types, parce que les types... Oh! si je voyais les types... Si j’observais mon ombre, et que je ne m’étais jamais regardé, et que je voyais à quoi ressemble mon ombre, j’aurais une idée de ce à quoi je ressemble.
Et c’est pour cela que tout l’Ancien Testament était une ombre du Nouveau Testament qui devait venir. Et si je vois comment Dieu a traité avec les hommes là-bas, je vois comment Dieu traitera avec les hommes ici. Et je vois quel genre de rétribution il y a eu pour la désobéissance, je sais ce que ça sera ici.
Ainsi, toutes les choses anciennes étaient une ombre des choses nouvelles qui devaient venir. Et comme nous aimons retourner dans l’Ancien Testament et déterrer ces vieilles pépites, faire la prospection, vous savez, les déterrer, les polir, les examiner. Et chacune d’elles indiquera le Calvaire, l’oeuvre achevée. Tout dans l’ancien Testament indiquera l’oeuvre achevée du Seigneur Jésus au Calvaire.
| E-20 Now, gifts and callings are without repentance. God all through the ages has been represented on the earth through His prophets, through His kings. And it's always been the Spirit of God. If we had the time tonight to go down like to Joseph, dig out those nuggets and polish them up. I love...
I'm a typologist, and I--I love to get the old types. Not having an education, then I have to go to type, because type... Oh, if I saw the type... If I was watching at my shadow, and I never seen myself, and I see what my shadow looked like, I'd have some idea of what I would look like.
And that's what all the Old Testament was a shadow of the New Testament to come. And if I see how God dealt with men there, I see how God will deal with men over here. I see what kind of a recompense of reward for disobedience, I know what it'll be over here.
So all the old things was a shadow of the new to come. And how we love to go back in the Old Testament and dig up those old nuggets, prospect, you know, dig them out, polish them up, look at them. And every one of them will point to Calvary, the finished work. Everything of the Old Testament will point to the finished work of the Lord Jesus at Calvary.

E-21 Combien Joseph était un type parfait de Christ! Combien Moïse était le type de Christ! Moïse, le législateur, le sacrificateur... Combien Joseph était le prince de la prospérité. Tout ce qu’il faisait prospérait. Lorsqu’il était ici sur terre, on l’a jeté en prison, tout a prospéré; on l’a mis dans le palais de Pharaon, tout a prospéré. Où qu’il allât, il était le prince de la prospérité.
Et lorsqu’Il reviendra dans Sa gloire, le désert fleurira comme une rose, et nous n’aurons plus de déserts, et tout prospérera dans le glorieux Millénium, lorsque le Prince de la prospérité viendra. Comme c’est merveilleux!
Remarquez à quel point Joseph était aimé de son père, haï par ses frères, on l’a vendu pour pratiquement trente pièces d’argent, on l’a jeté dans une fosse pour qu’il meure, il a été élevé et il s’est assis à la droite de la plus grande ville commerciale du monde. Nul homme ne pouvait s’approcher de Pharaon sans passer par Joseph.
Jésus fut vendu pour trente pièces d’argent par Ses frères, et Il fut élevé, et s’est assis à la Droite de Dieu, et nul ne peut venir au Père que par le Fils.
| E-21 How Joseph was a perfect type of Christ. How Moses was a type of Christ. Moses the law giver, the priest... How that Joseph was the prince of prosperity. Everything he did prospered. When he was here on the earth, put him in the dungeon, everything prospered, put him in Pharaoh's place, everything prospered. Wherever he went, he was the prince of prosperity.
And when He comes again in His glory, the desert shall blossom as a rose, and we'll have no more deserts; and everything will prosper in the great millennium when the prince of prosperity arrives. How wonderful.
Notice how that Joseph was loved of his father, hated of his brethren, sold for almost thirty pieces of silver, throwed into a pit to be dead, taken up, and set at the right hand of the greatest commercial city in the world. No man could come to Pharaoh only through Joseph.
Jesus sold for thirty pieces of silver by His brethren and was taken up, setting at the right hand of God, and no man can come to the Father except by the Son.

E-22 Et lorsque Joseph sortait, une proclamation était décrétée, les frères le précédaient, disant: «Fléchissez les genoux, Joseph arrive.» Oh! chaque genou fléchira et chaque langue confessera le Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Soit vous le faites maintenant, soit vos oeuvres vous précéderont, quoi que ce soit. Un jour, il vous faudra fléchir le genou devant le Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Amen.
Remarquez, comme c’est beau! Combien en Moïse, le législateur, combien il était à la fois sacrificateur et législateur! Et combien il conduisit le peuple. C’était Dieu en Joseph; c’était Dieu en Moïse.
Considérez David lorsqu’il a été détrôné et rejeté de sa ville, et il a gravi le mont des oliviers, rejeté par son propre fils. Et son peuple l’avait rejeté. Et en gravissant la colline, il montait en pleurant, en tournant le regard sur Jérusalem, en train de pleurer. Qu’était-ce? C’était l’Esprit de Christ en Lui.
Lorsque le Fils de David vint, quelque huit cents ans plus tard, Il s’assit sur la même colline, rejeté par les Siens, et Il pleura sur Jérusalem et dit: «Jérusalem, Jérusalem, combien de fois ai-Je–ai-Je voulu rôder sur toi comme une poule couve ses poussins, et tu ne l’as pas voulu.»
Tout l’Ancien Testament n’était qu’une préfiguration du Nouveau Testament, des choses à venir.
| E-22 And when Joseph went forth, there was a proclamation signed, brothers went before saying, "Bow the knee; Joseph is coming." Oh, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess the Lord Jesus Christ. Whether you do it now or your works go on before you, whatever it is. Someday, you've got to bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Notice it, how beautiful. How that in Moses, the law giver, how that he was both a priest and a law giver. And how he led the people. That was God in Joseph; that was God in Moses.
Look at David when he was dethroned and rejected in his city, and he climbed out up the Mount of Olives, and rejected by his own son. And his people had turned him down. And as he went up the hill, he went up weeping, looking back over Jerusalem, weeping. What was it? It was the Spirit of Christ in him.
When the Son of David came, some eight hundred years later, he set on the same hill, rejected of His own, and wept over Jerusalem and said, "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how oft would I have have hovered you as a hen covers her chicks, and you would not."
All the Old Testament just a foreshadow of the New Testament, the things to come.

E-23 Quelqu’un parlait... J’étais en Afrique il n’y a pas longtemps, ils ont un... très drôle. C’est un...?... chose en Amérique même sur le baptême. Ils baptisent trois fois et chaque groupe d’une manière différente. Un groupe baptise les gens trois fois en avant. Un autre groupe baptise trois fois vers l’arrière. Et un autre baptise une fois pour le Père, une fois pour le Fils et une fois pour le Saint-Esprit.
Et lorsqu’ils font cela, ils introduisent tout simplement leur credo dans un credo païen. Cela n’existe pas. Voyez? Et puis, lorsqu’ils... Cela donne donc les maux de tête au Juif. Il dit: «Lequel d’entre eux est votre Dieu? Est-ce Dieu le Père qui est votre Dieu, est-ce Dieu le Fils, ou Dieu le Saint-Esprit?» Tout celui qui connaît Dieu, et qui connaît Sa Bible, sait que ces trois sont Un. Qu’il n’y a pas trois dieux, il n’y a qu’un seul Dieu manifesté en trois personnes. Autrement dit, c’est afin que celui qui peut-être ne le comprend pas très bien, comprenne. Ce sont trois offices du même Dieu. Dieu le Père est dans la forme d’une Lumière. Personne ne peut Le toucher. Il descend carrément, descend et entre dans le Fils. C’était Dieu le Fils, le même Dieu: «Mon Père est en Moi, c’est Lui qui fait les oeuvres.»
| E-23 Someone was speaking... I was in Africa not long ago, and they have a very funny... It's a...?... thing in America even on baptism. They baptize three different times. One group of them baptizes them three times forward. The other one baptize three times backwards. And one they baptize one for the Father, one for the Son, and one for the Holy Ghost.
And when they do it, they simply bring their creed into a pagan creed. There's no such thing. See? And then when they... Then, that upsets the Jew. He says, "Which one of them is your God. Is God the Father your God, or is God the Son, or is God the Holy Ghost?" Anyone that knows God, and knows His Bible, know that those three are One. Not three gods, one God, manifested in three persons. In otherwise so that the one maybe who doesn't understand too well, would know. It's three offices of the selfsame God. God the Father is in a form of Light. No man could touch Him. He's come right down, condescending and come into the Son. It was God the Son, the same God: "My Father's in Me; it's Him that doeth the works.

E-24 Dieu était en Christ, réconciliant le monde avec Lui-même. «Je suis venu de Dieu, a dit Christ, et Je retourne à Dieu.» C’est ce qu’Il a fait. C’est Dieu d’un bout à l’autre, seulement dans trois offices, la dispensation de la Paternité, de la Filiation et du Saint-Esprit. Tout c’est le même Dieu.

E-25 Voyez-vous cela? Tenez, c’était Dieu en David, c’était Dieu en Joseph. C’était Dieu en Daniel. C’était Dieu dans une certaine proportion. C’était Dieu dans une certaine proportion. Mais lorsqu’Il est entré en Christ, Il est venu dans la plénitude de Son Etre. En Lui il y avait corporellement la plénitude de la Divinité. Tout l’Esprit de Dieu demeure en Lui.
C’est comme ceci. Maintenant... Et pendant qu’Il se manifeste, celui-ci va se disputer avec celui-là, disant: «As-tu parlé en langues ou as-tu prophétisé? Si tu...» Eh bien, c’est là que les gens sont complètement embrouillés sur ces dons. Voyez?
L’un d’eux dira: «Parce que tu ne fais pas ceci, tu n’as pas la chose; ou comme tu ne fais pas ceci, tu n’as pas la chose.» Eh bien, vous vous trompez à ce propos. Dieu est comme un gros diamant. Ecoutez, afin que vous puissiez vraiment comprendre ceci. Dieu est comme un gros diamant. Et tout diamant a une ébréchure, un diamant a des ébréchures, ce grand diamant. Et exposez-le à la lumière, et les grands rayons de lumière émanent de cela.
Et ce sont là des messagers de Dieu, des dons. Tout cela renvoie au même Dieu. Le don de guérison, le don de prédication, le don de prophétie, tous les dons spirituels du corps sont simplement des rayons ou des reflets du même Dieu.
| E-25 Do you see it? Here, that was God in David. That was God in Joseph. That was God in Daniel. It was God within a measure. It was God in a measure. But when He came into Christ, He became in the fulness of His Being. In Him was the Fulness of the Godhead bodily. All the Spirit of God dwells in Him.
It's like this. Now... And as He goes out, one will fuss with the other one. "Did you speak with tongues or did you prophecy? If you..." Now, there's where the people get these gifts all mixed up. You see?
One will say, "Because you don't do this, you haven't got it, or you don't do this, you haven't got it." Now, you're wrong on that. God is like a great diamond. Listen, so you can really understand this. God is like a great diamond. And each diamond has a chip of a diamond has chip places, this big master diamond. And lay it in the light, great rays of light shines off from it.
And those are God's messengers, gifts. All of it comes back to the selfsame God. The gift of healing, the gift of preaching, the gift of prophesying, all the spiritual gifts of the body are just rays or reflections off of the selfsame God.

E-26 Voyez-vous le grand diamant? En effet, l’un a reçu la connaissance, l’autre la sagesse, l’autre le don de guérison, l’autre le don de prophétie, mais tous du même Esprit, le Grand Diamant. Et aussi longtemps que vous voyez ces choses en action, sachez que Dieu est toujours le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement. Et si je peux sortir... Je prêchais à l’église baptiste de Milltown, dans l’Indiana, et je rentrais chez moi la nuit. Un vieux rossignol se perchait par là, et il–il chantait.
Et une nuit orageuse j’ai remarqué qu’il ne chantait pas autant qu’au cours d’une nuit éclairée par la lune. Alors je me suis mis à étudier le rossignol, j’ai fini par découvrir qu’il regarde en haut vers le ciel, et il observe. Et tant qu’il voit une étoile, il chante, parce qu’il est certain que le soleil est en train de briller quelque part. Oh! la la! quelle leçon nous pourrions tirer de là!
Et aussi longtemps que vous voyez l’Esprit de Dieu opérer au travers d’un de ces petits rayons de lumière, il existe un Dieu qui vit et règne toujours. Le rossignol redresse la tête et chante à tue-tête lorsqu’il voit une étoile, parce qu’il doit observer l’étoile pour qu’elle le fasse chanter. Et il n’est donc pas étonnant que cela nous apporte la joie. Oh! c’est un–c’est un puits qui bouillonne.
| E-26 See the big diamond? For to one is given knowledge, to another, wisdom, to another, gifts of healing, to another one, gifts of prophecy, but all by the selfsame Spirit, the great diamond. And the big rays of light that we see shoot this way and shoot that way, all declare one thing: there is a God that lives and reigns. Amen.
And as long as you see those things in operation, know that God still is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If I could go out... I used to preach at the Baptist church at Milltown, Indiana, and I'd come home at night. There used to be an old nightingale set out there, and he would--he would sing.
And I noticed on a stormy night, he didn't sing as much as he did on a moonlight night. So I begin to study of the nightingale, and I come to find out that he looks up towards the heavens, and he watches. And as long as he can see a star, he sings, because he knows somewhere the sun is shining. Oh, my, what a lesson we could learn by that.
And as long as you can see the Spirit of God operating through one of these little rays of light, there's a God that still lives and reigns. The nightingale would throw his head up and sing to the top of his voice when he could see one star, 'cause he has to watch the star to sing by. And no wonder then, it brings us joy. Oh, it's a--a well bubbling up.

E-27 Lorsque j’étais garde-chasse dans l’Indiana, j’allais boire à un certain endroit. C’était une–une source, qui bouillonnait tout le temps. Je me disais que c’était la source la plus heureuse que j’eusse jamais vue de ma vie. Tout le temps et sans cesse elle bouillonnait.
Alors, un jour je me suis assis à côté de cette source, et j’ai dit: «J’aimerais te parler, madame la source. Chaque fois que je viens ici, tu es si heureuse, tu sautilles, tu bouillonnes, tu te comportes de cette manière.» J’ai dit: «Est-ce peut-être parce que les–les animaux, les cerfs viennent boire de ton eau, c’est ce qui te rend heureuse?»
Non, si elle pouvait parler, elle aurait dit: «Non.»
J’ai dit: «Eh bien, peut-être c’est parce que, d’autres animaux peut-être boivent de ton eau?»
«Non, ce n’est pas ce qui me fait bouillonner.»
Eh bien, j’ai alors dit: «Peut-être tu ne cesse de bouillonner parce que quand moi je viens ici et tu...–c’est ce qui te fait bouillonner, parce que je bois de ton eau.»
Elle aurait dit: «Non, ce n’est pas ça la raison.»
Je dirais: «Eh bien, qu’est-ce qui te fait bouillonner, madame la source?»
Si elle pouvait me répondre, elle dirait: «Eh bien, Monsieur Branham, ce n’est pas moi qui bouillonne, c’est quelque chose qui est derrière moi qui me pousse et qui me fait bouillonner.»
Alors je pense que c’est ce qu’il en est de l’église qui est née de nouveau de l’Esprit de Dieu. Il ne s’agit pas tellement de bouillonner, c’est quelque chose là-dedans qui la fait bouillonner, qui la fait bouillonner jusque dans la Vie Eternelle; c’est la fontaine des eaux de la Vie, qui, chaque jour, sort fraîchement de la Fontaine inépuisable de Vie, Laquelle est Christ Jésus, en qui nous sommes plantés par le baptême de l’Esprit. | E-27 When I was game warden in Indiana, I used to go to a certain place and drink. It was a--a spring, just bubbled all the time. I thought it was the happiest spring I ever seen in my life. It was constantly bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble.
So one day I set down by the side of that spring, and I said, "I would like to speak to you, Mr. Spring. Every time that I come by here, you're so happy, jumping, bubbling, carrying on the way you do." I said, "Maybe it's because that the--the animal, the deer comes by and drinks from you what makes you happy."
No, if he could talk, he'd say, "No."
I said, "Well, maybe it's because, perhaps, some other animal would drink."
"No, that isn't why I'm bubbling."
Well, I say then, "Maybe it's because if you just bubble when I come by and you--that's what makes you bubble because I drink from you."
He would say, "No, that isn't why."
I'd say, "Well, what makes you bubble, Mr. Spring?"
If he could speak back to me, he'd say, "Now, Mr. Branham, it isn't me bubbling, it's something behind me pushing me and making me bubble."
So I think that's the way it is with the church that's borned again of the Spirit of God. It isn't so much of the bubbling; it's something in there making it bubble, bubbling up to Everlasting Life, fountain of a water of Life, freshly, coming every day from the inexhaustible Fountain of life, which is Christ Jesus, Who we're planted in Him through the baptism of the Spirit. Amen.

E-28 Maintenant, nous avons l’Esprit par ces dons, en portion. Mais Christ L’avait sans mesure. Nous L’avons avec mesure. A l’un est donnée la connaissance, à l’autre la sagesse.
Dans l’Eglise, il y a cinq offices: les apôtres ou les missionnaires–c’est l’un ou l’autre, les deux signifient la même chose; ce terme signifie Un envoyé.–Et les apôtres, les prophètes, les docteurs, les évangélistes, et les pasteurs. C’est Dieu qui les établit dans l’Eglise. Mais ce n’est pas parce que l’un est un apôtre que le prophète pourrait dire: «Tu ne fais pas partie de l’Eglise.» Ou le pasteur à l’évangéliste et ainsi de suite. Mais ce sont tous de petits canaux de Dieu qui ont été placés dans l’Eglise pour le perfectionnement des saints.
Et dans chaque corps local il y a douze... spirit-... neuf dons spirituels, dans 1 Corinthiens 12, neuf dons spirituels dans–dans chaque corps. Ils opèr-... opèrent séparément, mais ils proviennent du même Esprit.
Maintenant... Mais en Christ il y avait la plénitude. Bon, si vous voyez ici un homme qui prophétise, et un autre qui est pasteur, un autre qui est évangéliste et un autre qui est docteur, eh bien, vous ne pouvez pas dire: Vous ne faites pas partie du corps», parce que c’est simplement l’un de ces rayons qui émanent de Dieu. Tous indiquent droit vers Dieu, ce grand Diamant principal. Ne l’oubliez pas.
| E-28 Now, we have the Spirit by these gifts, by portions. But Christ had It without measure. We have It by measure. To one is given knowledge, to another one is given wisdom.
There are in the church five offices: Apostles or missionaries, either one, both the same thing, word means "one sent." And apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, and pastors, God sets them in the church. But because one would be an apostle, the prophet couldn't say, "You're not in it." Or the pastor to the evangelist or so forth. But they're all little lines of God that's put into the church for the perfecting of the saints.
And in every local body is twelve spirit--nine spiritual gifts, in I Corinthians 12, nine spiritual gifts in--in each body. They oper--operate separately, but of the same-self Spirit.
Now... But in Christ was the fulness. Now, if you see a man here prophesying, and another a pastor, one evangelist and another a teacher. Now, you can't say you're not in it, because it's just one of them rays off of God. It all points right back to God, that big master diamond. Don't forget that.

E-29 Et maintenant, si les méthodistes tiennent un réveil et amènent des âmes au salut, et que vous soyez un baptiste, ne dites pas qu’ils n’ont pas de lumière là-bas, parce qu’ils sont une lumière exactement comme vous. Voyez-vous? C’est entièrement une lumière qui vient du grand Diamant de Dieu, l’Esprit, le Saint-Esprit, opérant, sauvant des âmes et les apprêtant pour la Venue du Seigneur.
Bon, bon, en Christ habitait toute la plénitude de la Divinité corporellement. Il avait en Lui tout l’Esprit de Dieu. «Moi et Mon Père nous sommes Un.», a dit Jésus. C’est pour cela que les gens n’arrivaient pas à Le comprendre. Parfois Il pouvait dire quelque chose, et ça semblait comme s’Il se retournait pour dire quelque chose de différent. C’était Lui qui parlait, puis le Père parlait. Voyez-vous?
Les gens étaient... Et même les disciples n’arrivaient pas à Le comprendre. Et ce n’est qu’à la fin qu’ils ont dit: «Voici maintenant Tu parles ouvertement. Maintenant, nous croyons par ceci que Tu sais toutes choses, que Tu n’as pas besoin que personne T’enseigne.»
Jésus a dit: «Croyez-vous maintenant?» Après tout ce temps, ils n’arrivaient pas à obtenir la... Pourquoi? Parfois Il pouvait dire ceci et ensuite dire cela. C’était Lui et le Père qui parlaient.
| E-29 And now, if the Methodist is having a revival and they're getting souls saved, and you're a Baptist, don't say that they haven't got any light over there, 'cause they're a light just the same as you are. See? It's all a light from God's big master diamond, the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, working, getting souls saved and ready for the coming of the Lord.
Now, now, in Christ dwelt the Fulness of the Godhead bodily. He had all the Spirit of God in Him. "I and My Father are One," said Jesus. That's the reason the people couldn't understand Him. Sometimes He'd say something, might look like He turn around and say something different. It was Him speaking, then the Father speaking. See?
They were... And even the disciples could not understand Him. And right at the last, they said, "Lo, now speakest Thou plainly. Now, we believe by this if you know all things; no man needs to teach you."
Jesus said, "Do you now believe?" After all that time, they couldn't get the... Why? That sometimes He'd say this and then say that. It was Him and the Father speaking.

E-30 Maintenant, remarquez attentivement. Eh bien, Dieu habitant en Christ se servait de Sa voix pour parler. Jésus a dit concernant Son miracle: «En vérité, en vérité, Je vous le dis, le Fils ne peut rien faire de Lui-même, Il ne fait que ce qu’Il voit faire au Père, et le Fils le fait pareillement.» Est-ce juste? Donc Il ne faisait rien par Lui-même. Aucun prophète n’a fait quoi que ce soit par lui-même, à moins que Dieu lui ait d’abord montré quoi faire. Quelle erreur Moïse avait-il commise lorsqu’il est allé sans vision de Dieu tuer l’Egyptien, pensant qu’il allait les libérer de ses mains? En effet, il pensait avoir suffisamment de foi et qu’il était capable de faire cela, étant donné qu’il avait été appelé à ce travail.
Peu importe à quel point vous êtes appelé à ce travail, c’est Dieu qui doit vous conduire. Voyez? Il a failli malgré toute son instruction et toute sa conception militaire et sa formation en tant que grand leader égyptien. Mais cependant il a échoué, parce que Dieu avait un programme et nous devons travailler conformément au programme de Dieu. Peu importe ce que nous faisons, combien nous sommes intelligents, nous devons nous humilier et travailler conformément au programme de Dieu. Amen.
Il a donc échoué, et Dieu a dû le garder quarante autres années pour l’instruire. Alors ce qu’il y avait, il devait s’oublier, et ce n’était pas lui qui devait agir, mais Dieu.
| E-30 Now, notice closely. Now, God dwelling in Christ used His voice to speak by. Jesus said in His miracle, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing, that doeth the Son likewise." Is that right? Saint John 5:19.
Then He did not do nothing within Himself. No prophet ever did anything within himself, until first God showed what to do. What a mistake Moses made when he went out without the vision of God and smote down the Egyptian, thought he'd liberate them with his hands, because he thought he had a lot of faith and could do it, because he was called for the job.
No matter how much you're called for the job, God has to do the leading. See? He failed of all of his schooling and his military mind and his training as a great Egyptian leader. But yet it failed, 'cause God had a program and we've got to work according to God's program. No matter what we do, how smart we are, we've got to humble ourselves and work according to God's program. Amen.
So he failed and God had to keep him another forty years to educate him. So what it was, that he must forget himself, and it's not him, but it was God.

E-31 Maintenant remarquez, bien des fois les gens comprennent mal. Maintenant, je dois introduire ceci ici pour faire une comparaison avec quelque chose. Maintenant, écoutez, en Lui habitait la plénitude. Il était Lui-même le Diamant. Remarquez, lorsque Dieu voulait se servir de Son don, Il a parlé au Seigneur Jésus au temps où Marie et Marthe étaient en difficulté, lorsque Lazare était tombé malade.
Maintenant, souvenez-vous, alors qu’on doutait de Jésus, il est dit: «Il ne faisait rien jusqu’à ce que le Père Lui ait montré d’abord.» Retenez cela. Maintenant, ça c’est la Parole éternelle de Dieu. Et si Jésus avait dit quelque chose qui n’était pas vrai, alors Il n’était pas le Messie. Cela devait être établi comme étant la vérité.
| E-31 Now, notice, many times people misunderstand. Now, I have to bring this in here to compare something in a comparison. And I hope you don't under--think it to be a carnal comparison, 'cause I don't mean it of all the operation or something that I do or you'd do. But that it might increase your faith that Jesus has raised from the dead, and He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And manifest Hisself in the same way here in His church that He did when He was here on earth. Oh, I hope you see it.
Now, look, in Him dwelt the Fulness. He was the Diamond Himself. Notice, when God wanted to use His gift, He spoke to the Lord Jesus in the time of Mary and Martha's trouble when Lazarus was going to get sick.
Now, remember, Jesus being questioned, said, "He did not do nothing till the Father showed Him first what to do." Keep that. Now, that is God's eternal Word. And if Jesus told something that wasn't so, then He wasn't Messiah. So that has to be settled the truth.

E-32 Alors qu’un homme disait, il n’y a pas longtemps, qu’il croyait que le diable pouvait guérir, à cause de ce qu’il voyait, j’ai dit: «Jésus a dit qu’il ne pouvait pas guérir.» Alors cela règle la question. Si Satan peut chasser Satan, c’est que son royaume est divisé. Alors, si Jésus a dit qu’il ne peut pas guérir, c’est qu’il ne peut pas guérir; c’est réglé. Vous devez croire la Parole éternelle de Dieu. Peu importe de quoi cela a l’air, croyez la Parole de toute façon. Ne regardez pas aux circonstances.
Que serait-il arrivé si Abraham avait regardé aux circonstances? Isaac ne serait jamais né. Mais Abraham appelait des choses qui n’étaient point comme si elles étaient. Et si nous sommes la postérité d’Abraham, nous avons la même sorte de foi à l’égard de la promesse de Dieu. Ces choses qui sont contraires à la promesse de Dieu, nous ne les voyons pas et nous ignorons leur existence. Amen.
| E-32 When a man said not long ago, he believed the devil could heal, because what he could see. I said, "Jesus said he could not heal." So that settles it. If Satan could cast out Satan, his kingdom is divided. So if Jesus said he can't heal, he can't heal; that settles it. You must believe God's eternal Word. Regardless of what things look like, you believe the Word anyhow. You don't look at circumstance.
What if Abraham would've looked at the circumstance? Isaac would've never been born. But Abraham called those things which were not as though they were. And if we're the seed of Abraham, we have the same kind of faith towards God's promise. Those things that's contrary to God's promise, we don't see them and ignore them. Amen.

E-33 Frère, c’est ça la foi qui a été transmise aux saints une fois pour toutes: croire la Parole de Dieu, peu importe les circonstances. Elles n’ont rien à voir avec la chose.
Abraham appelait ces choses... Et alors qu’il devenait vieux, il semblait que la promesse s’était de plus en plus éloignée. Abraham fut tout le temps fortifié, donnant gloire à Dieu, pour un miracle plus glorieux. Lorsque Dieu lui a dit qu’il allait avoir un enfant, j’imagine qu’il a apprêté des épingles et des couches et tout. Mais après le premier mois, rien ne s’est produit: «Comment te sens-tu, Sara?»
«Aucun changement.»Il a dit: «Gloire à Dieu! nous allons l’avoir de toute façon.» Dieu l’a dit. C’est réglé. Assurément. Le deuxième mois passa: «Comment te sens-tu, Sara?»«Aucun changement.»«Gloire! nous allons l’avoir de toute façon.» La première année passa, aucun changement: «Alléluia! nous allons l’avoir de toute façon.» Dix ans passèrent: «Gloire à Dieu! nous allons l’avoir de toute façon.» Et il devenait de plus en plus vieux.
| E-33 Brother, that's the faith that was once delivered to the saints: to believe God's Word regardless of what circumstances. That has nothing to do with it.
Abraham called those things... And as he got older, the promise looked like it was farther away and farther away. Abraham got stronger all the time, giving praise to God, more of a miracle. When He told him he was going to have a baby, I imagine he got the pins and the Birdeye and everything ready. But when the first month come along, there was nothing doing, "How are you feeling, Sarah?"

E-34 Vous... nous–nous prétendons être la postérité d’Abraham. Mais si Dieu ne vous répond pas juste comme cela, vous dites: «Eh bien, je pense que ça n’existe pas.» La postérité d’Abraham! Honte à vous! Accrochez-vous aux promesses de Dieu. Appelez mensonge toute autre chose. Gardez les promesses de Dieu...?.... C’est ça. Après qu’il eut accompli cent ans, il continuait de dire: «Nous allons l’avoir de toute façon.» Et il l’a eu. Assurément, parce que c’était la promesse de Dieu. C’est ce que fait la postérité d’Abraham. Et si nous sommes morts en Christ, nous devenons la postérité d’Abraham et nous sommes héritiers selon la promesse. Dans ce cas, quel genre d’esprit devrait être en vous? Je crains, mes amis, comme je l’ai dit à votre pasteur aujourd’hui, que les églises ne soient en train de recevoir l’esprit du pasteur au lieu de recevoir l’Esprit de Dieu. C’est juste. Nous n’avons pas besoin de l’esprit l’un de l’autre, on n’en a pas besoin. Nous avons besoin de l’Esprit de Dieu. C’est... Entrez dans une église et observez comment le pasteur se comporte. Et observez, l’assemblée fait de même.
| E-34 You--we--we claim to be Abraham's seed. But if God don't answer it just like that to you, "Well, I guess there's nothing to it." Abraham's seed, shame on you. Hold onto God's promises. Call anything else a lie. Keep God's promises...?... That's it.
After he was a hundred years old, he still said, "We're going to have it, anyhow." And he did. Sure, 'cause it was God's promise. That's what Abraham's seed does. And if we being dead in Christ, we take on Abraham's seed, and are heirs according to the promise. Then what kind of a spirit should be in you?
I'm afraid, friends, as I talked to your pastor today, churches get the pastor's spirit instead of God's Spirit. That's right. We don't need one another's spirit; there's no need of that. We need God's Spirit. That's... You go into a church and watch the way the pastor acts. Watch the congregation act the same way.

E-35 C’est pour cela que... Vous savez, la Bible dit: «Je vous donnerai un esprit nouveau, et ensuite Je vous donnerai Mon Esprit.» Et bien des gens reçoivent cet esprit nouveau juste pour essayer de vivre correctement et agir correctement, et ils ne reçoivent jamais le Saint-Esprit, et ils essaient d’agir par le Saint-Esprit. C’est pour cela, mes amis... Et ce que je fais en tant qu’évangéliste, j’essaie de rester dans la Parole, afin que vous obteniez l’Esprit de la Parole, qui n’est pas basé sur une certaine théologie faite par l’homme, mais sur l’AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR. Il me faut répondre là-bas de l’autre côté devant vous tous au jour du Jugement. Vous devez recevoir l’Esprit de Dieu.
| E-35 That's the reason... You know the Bible said, "I give you a new spirit and then give you My Spirit." And many people gets that new spirit just to try to live right, and do right, and never get the Holy Spirit, and try to act by It. And there's the way you get in trouble. That's right.
The new spirit; it's a new life. That has nothing... That's good, but God has to give you a new spirit so we can get along with His Spirit. The old spirit you had, you couldn't get along with yourself, let alone God's Spirit. So He gives you a new spirit. And you see people...
That's the reason, friends... And as I do as evangelist, I try to stay in the Word, that you get the Spirit of the Word, not based upon some man's theology, but THUS SAITH THE LORD. I've got to answer yonder in the presence of all of you at the day of judgment. You must take the Spirit of God.

E-36 Cet esprit d’Abraham, la postérité d’Abraham, qui est le Saint-Esprit, nous qui sommes morts en Christ, nous sommes la postérité d’Abraham et nous sommes héritiers selon la promesse.
Nous avons le même genre de foi qu’Abraham avait, et tout ce qui est contraire à la Parole de Dieu, nous considérons cela comme si ça n’existait pas. Dieu a fait une promesse, je l’accepte. Ça règle la question. C’est tout.
Peu importe ce que je ressens, à quoi cela ressemble, ou n’importe quoi d’autre, Dieu l’a dit et cela règle la question. Voilà les enfants d’Abraham, ce sont eux qui sont héritiers selon la promesse.
| E-36 That spirit of Abraham, the seed of Abraham, which is the Holy Spirit, we being dead in Christ, take on Abraham's seed and are heirs according to the promise. We have the same kind of faith that Abraham had, and call everything contrary to God's Word as though it was not. God made a promise; I accept it. That settles it. That's all.
No matter how I feel, what it looks like, or anything else; God said so and that settles it. There's the children of Abraham that's the heirs according to the promise.

E-37 Maintenant, remarquez, lorsque Jésus était ici sur terre, Il a dit: «Je ne fais rien à moins que le Père Me le montre.» Il pouvait regarder dans toute l’assistance, et lorsque le Père Lui montrait quelqu’un, Il pouvait lui dire: «Ta perte de sang... Tu as touché Mon vêtement, la perte de sang s’est arrêtée.» Il pouvait faire ces choses.
Quelqu’un pouvait se tenir devant Lui et s’approcher de Lui, et Il disait: «Eh bien, tu es un homme de bien. Tu es un homme honnête.»
«Comment m’as-Tu connu, Rabbi?»
«Avant que Philippe t’appelât, quand tu étais sous l’arbre, Je t’ai vu en train de prier.»
Dans le même chapitre, Pierre est venu, il s’est présenté devant Lui, Il a dit: «Eh bien, tu t’appelles Simon.»
Il a dit: «Tu es le fils de–de Jonas.» Il a dit: «Je vais te donner un autre nom, et Je vais t’appeler Pierre.» Comment l’a-t-Il connu, d’où il est venu, qui il était? C’est le Père qui le Lui avait montré. C’est ce qu’Il a dit. Tout ce qu’Il faisait, c’est le Père qui Lui montrait.
| E-37 Now, notice when Jesus was here on earth, He said, "I do nothing till the Father showed Me." He could look out over the audience, and when the Father would show Him somebody He could tell them, "Your blood issue... You touched My garment, the blood issue stopped." He could do those things.
Someone would stand before Him and come up to Him, and He'd say, "Well now, you're a good man. You're a honest man."
"How did You know me, Rabbi?"
"Before Philip called you when you were under the tree, I saw you praying."
Same chapter, come Peter, came up to Him, He said, "Why, your name is Simon." Said, "You're the son of--of Jonah." He said, "I'm going to rename you, and I'm going to call you Peter." How did He know him, where he come from, who he was? The Father had showed Him. He said so. Everything He did, the Father showed Him.

E-38 Maintenant, observez, lorsque Dieu devait utiliser Son propre don, Il savait où cela se trouvait. Christ était le don de Dieu. Eh bien, je parle de Jésus, le corps, le Fils, maintenant. Et lorsqu’Il voulait utiliser Son propre don, Il L’a envoyé loin de Lazare. Et on a envoyé... Et c’est exactement ainsi qu’on Le traitait.
Et tous les premiers chrétiens ont été traités d’hérétiques. C’est-à-dire des fous. Voyez? Ils étaient donc tous traités de cela, et ils étaient sortis de leur église pour Le suivre. Et Il vivait avec eux. Et ensuite, lorsqu’on L’a envoyé chercher pour venir prier pour ce bien-aimé qui était malade à mort, Il refusa de venir. Qu’auriez-vous fait si c’était votre pasteur? «Oh! je vais me joindre aux méthodistes, c’est ce que je vais faire. Si les méthodistes font cela, j’irai chez les presbytériens.» Voilà pourquoi...
Si vous avez un bon homme de Dieu, qui est un serviteur de Dieu, restez avec lui. Mais s’il n’est pas un serviteur de Dieu, débarrassez-vous de lui, cherchez quelqu’un qui est un serviteur de Dieu. C’est la seule manière d’y aller. Et ayez foi en votre pasteur. C’est vrai. Alors vous verrez les miracles de Dieu se produire, si vous avez foi en lui. Mais il ne peut vous aider que si vous avez foi en lui pour conduire...?...
| E-38 Now watch, when God was going to use His own gift, He knowed where it was at. Christ was God's gift. Now, I'm talking of Jesus, the body, the Son, now. And when He wanted to use His own gift, He'd call Him away from Lazarus. And they sent to... Said, "Come over and pray for Lazarus." A people that had come out of their great orthodox church to follow a--what was so-called a fanatic, a holy-roller. That's exactly what He was called.
And all the early Christians was called heretics. That's crazy. See? So they were all called that, and they come out of the church to follow Him. And He'd live with them.
And then, when they sent for Him to come pray for the loved ones that was sick to death, He refused to come. What would you do to your pastor? "Oh, I'll go join the Methodists; that's what I'll do. If the Methodists does that, I'll go back to the Presbyterians." That's the reason...
If you've got a good man of God and he's God's servant, stay with him. But if he isn't a servant of God, get rid of him, get somebody that is. That's the only way to do it. And have faith in your pastor. That's true. Then you'll see the miracles of God happen if you got faith in Him. But He can only help you as you have faith in Him to lead...?...

E-39 Or, Lazare était mourant. On a de nouveau envoyé quelqu’un L’appeler, Jésus s’en allait tout simplement. Pourquoi? Il savait ce qui allait arriver. Puis lorsque l’accomplissement–fut accompli le nombre de jours que le Père Lui avait montré, alors Il a dit: «Je ne fais rien jusqu’à ce qu’Il Me le montre.»... Et ainsi lorsqu’Il a vu que ces jours furent accomplis, Il s’est retourné et Il a dit à Ses disciples: «Notre ami Lazare dort.»
Eh bien, eux ont pensé que Lazare se reposait, ils ont dit: «Eh bien, il se porte bien.»
Il a dit (Il a parlé leur langage.), Il a dit: «Il est mort. Et à cause de vous, Je me réjouis de ce que Je n’étais pas là.» En effet, ils L’auraient persuadé à prier pour lui et à faire la chose même que Dieu ne Lui avait pas dit de faire. Voyez?
Dieu a dit: «Attends, maintenant par ici, jusqu’à ce qu’il soit mort et qu’il soit quatre jours dans la tombe. Et Tu reviendras ensuite pour le ressusciter des morts.» Et Jésus avait dû partir pour obéir au Père. Maintenant, croyez-vous cela? La Bible dit, Il a dit qu’Il ne faisait rien jusqu’à ce que le Père le Lui ait montré.» Et c’est ce qu’Il faisait à ce moment-là. Voyez-vous?
| E-39 Now, Lazarus was dying. They sent again; Jesus just moved on. Why? He knew what was going to happen. Then when the fulling--fulfilling of days that the Father had showed Him, which He said, "I do nothing till He shows Me."... And then when He seen the days was accomplished, He turned and said to His disciples, "Our friend, Lazarus, sleepeth."
Well, they thought he was taking a rest, said, "Well, he does well."
Said, "He talked in their language. He said, 'He's dead. And for your sake, I'm glad I wasn't there.'" 'Cause they would be persuading Him to pray for him and do the very thing that God had told Him not to do. See?
God said, "You wait, now over here, until he's dead and in the grave four days. And come back and then raise him up from the dead." And Jesus had to leave and obey the Father. Now, you believe that? The Bible said, He said, "He did nothing until the Father showed Him." And here's what He was doing. See it?

E-40 Et Il a vu alors, après que ces jours furent accomplis... Il savait que s’Il était resté là, les gens allaient continuer de dire: «Oh! Jésus, Tu veux dire que Tu vas laisser Ton copain mourir comme cela? Les médecins l’ont abandonné.» Les historiens disent qu’il était mort d’hémorragie de poumons et ainsi de suite. Alors si–s’il est mort...
«Oh! Tu vas laisser Ton ami mourir? Et Tu veux dire que Tu ne vas même pas prier pour lui?»
«Non, Je ne vais pas prier pour lui.» Voyez?
Il a dit: «Je me réjouis, à cause de vous, de ce que Je n’étais pas là, mais Je vais le réveiller.» Observez-Le aller à la tombe. Lorsqu’Il s’est rendu à la tombe, Il a dit: «Père, Je Te remercie de ce que Tu M’as déjà exaucé. Mais c’est à cause de ceux qui se tiennent ici que Je le dis.» Il savait ce qui allait arriver. Lui et le Père en avaient parlé, Il le Lui avait montré parce qu’Il a dit qu’Il ne faisait rien avant que le Père le Lui ait montré.
Il a dit: «Je prie juste pour un exemple. C’est à cause de ceux qui se tiennent ici que Je l’ai dit.» Ensuite Il a dit: «Lazare, sors!» Et un homme qui était mort depuis quatre jours s’est tenu debout et est revenu à la vie. Amen.
| E-40 And He seen then after the days was accomplished, He knowed if He'd have stayed there, they'd have been kept saying, "Oh, Jesus, You mean to say that You're going to let Your buddy die like that? The doctors has turned him down." The historians said he died of hemorrhages of the lungs and so forth. So if--if he died... "Oh, You're going to let Your friend die? And You mean You won't even pray for him?"
"No, I ain't going to pray for him." See?
He said, "I'm glad for your sake, that I wasn't there, but I go wake him." Watch Him coming to the grave. When He come up to the grave, He said, "Father, I thank Thee Thou hast heard Me already. But for these who stand by, I say it." He knowed what was going to happen. Him and the Father had talked it over; He'd showed Him 'cause He said He did nothing till the Father showed Him.
He said, "I pray just for the example. For these that stand by, I said it." Then He said, "Lazarus, come forth." And a man that been dead four days, stood on his feet and lived again. Amen.

E-41 Une femme m’a dit, il n’y a pas longtemps, ça fait un an ou deux, elle a dit: «Révérend Branham, a-t-elle dit, vous vantez trop Jésus.»
J’ai dit: «Oh! non; non, non, je ne Le vante pas trop.»
Elle a dit: «Si.» Elle a dit: «Vous vantez trop Jésus.» Elle a dit: «Vous essayez de faire de Lui Dieu.»
J’ai dit: «Il était Dieu.»
Elle a dit: «Si je vous prouve par la Bible qu’Il n’était qu’un homme, croirez-vous cela?»
J’ai dit: «Si la Bible le dit.»
«Eh bien, a-t-elle dit, je vais le prouver.» Elle a dit: «Dans Saint Jean, chapitre 11, lorsqu’Il s’est rendu à la tombe de Lazare, la Bible dit: ‘Il pleura.’»
«Oh! ai-je dit, quel rapport y a-t-il avec cela?»
«Eh bien, a-t-elle dit, Il ne pouvait pas être Dieu et pleurer.»
J’ai dit: «Vous ne voyez pas qui Il était. Il était à la fois Dieu et Homme.» Il était un Homme, en pleurant. Mais lorsqu’Il s’est tenu près de la tombe, qu’Il a redressé Sa petite silhouette, Il était le seul Homme qui pouvait dire: «Je suis la Résurrection et la Vie. Celui qui croit en Moi vivra, quand même il serait mort; et quiconque vit et croit en Moi ne mourra jamais.» C’est ce qu’Il a dit à Marthe: «Crois-tu cela?»
Elle a dit: «Oui, Seigneur, je crois que Tu es le Fils de Dieu qui devait venir dans le monde.» Pensez à cet exemple. Elle avait raison de Lui faire des reproches. Mais lorsqu’elle a entendu...
| E-41 A woman said to me not long ago, some year or two ago; she said, "Reverend Branham," she said, "you brag too much on Jesus."
I said, "Oh, no. No, no, I don't."
She said, "Yes, you do." Said, "You brag too much on Jesus." Said, "You try to make Him deity."
I said, "He was deity."
She said, "If I prove to you He wasn't nothing but a man by the Bible, will you believe it?"
I said, "If the Bible said so."
Well, she said, "I'll prove it." She said, "In Saint John the 11th chapter when He went down to the grave of Lazarus, the Bible said, 'He wept.'"
Oh, I said, "What's that got to do with it?"
Why, she said, "He couldn't have been deity and cry."
I said, "You fail to see Who He was. He was both God and man." That was a man weeping. But when He stood by the side of the grave, straightened His little figure up, He was the only man that ever could say, "I am the Resurrection and Life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die." Said that to Martha. "Believest thou this?"
She said, "Yea, Lord, I believe that You're the Son of God that was to come into the world." Think of that instance. She had a right to upbraid Him. But when she heard...

E-42 Eh bien, Marthe était un peu lente, mais elle a montré là de quoi elle était réellement faite. Elle a couru droit jusqu’à Lui, elle a laissé tous les critiqueurs derrière, et elle a couru, elle s’est prosternée à Ses pieds. Eh bien, si c’était nous aujourd’hui, elle aurait dit: «Pasteur, j’aimerais te dire quelque chose. Pourquoi nous as-tu abandonnés pendant que nous étions dans cette condition? Eh bien, mon pauvre frère gît là depuis quatre jours.» Voyez? C’est pour cela que Dieu ne peut rien faire par des gens instruits; ils en savent trop. Voyez?
Oh! c’est vous qui faites que tout cela marche correctement. Vous savez où chaque chose doit être. Mais Marthe ne savait que courir jusqu’à Lui. Observez. Elle est tombée...?.. Lui, elle a dit: «Seigneur...» C’est ce qu’Il était, «Seigneur...» Amen. Je crois qu’elle avait lu l’histoire de la femme sunamite lorsque celle-ci était allée voir le prophète, elle savait que Dieu était dans ce prophète. Si jamais elle pouvait arriver auprès de ce prophète, elle saurait pourquoi son enfant meurt, ou plutôt son enfant était mort.
C’est pour cela qu’elle a dit, lorsqu’elle est arrivée auprès du prophète, ce dernier a dit: «Dieu me l’a caché. Je ne sais pas pourquoi vous êtes dans la tristesse.» Il a dit: «Est-ce que tout va bien chez toi, avec ton mari ainsi que ton enfant?»
La femme a dit: «Tout va bien.» Amen. J’aime cela. Elle était arrivée au point. Amen.
| E-42 Now, Martha had been kinda dilatory, but she showed herself there what she was really made of. She run right out to Him, passed all the critics, and she run, and fell down before Him. Now, if it'd been us today, she'd say, "Pastor, I want to tell you something. Why did you leave us in this kind of a shape? Now, my poor brother's laying out there dead four days." See? That's the reason God can't do nothing through educated people, know so much. See?
Oh, you got it all worked right. You know where everything should be. But Martha just knowed to run out to Him. Watch. She fell down...?... Him, she said, "Lord..." That's what He was, "Lord..." Amen. I believe she'd read the Shunammite woman when she went down to the prophet; she knowed the God was in that prophet. If she could ever get to that prophet, she'd find out why her child die--or child died.
That's the reason she said when she got to the prophet, he said, "God did for me. I don't know what you're worried about." Said, "Is all well with thee and with thy husband, with the child?"
The woman said, "All is well." Amen. I like that. She come to the spot. Amen.

E-43 Marthe a dit: «Seigneur, si Tu avais été ici, mon frère ne serait pas mort.» Il a dit: «Ton frère ressuscitera.»
Elle a dit: «Oui, Seigneur. Je sais qu’il ressuscitera au dernier jour.» Il était un bon garçon. Les Juifs croyaient dans la résurrection générale au dernier jour, particulièrement les pharisiens.
Elle a dit: «Je sais qu’il ressuscitera au dernier jour.»
Il a dit: «Je suis la Résurrection et la Vie. Celui qui croit en Moi vivra, quand même il serait mort.»
Elle a dit: «Je sais que tout ce que... Il est mort et enterré. Il est en train de pourrir là dans la tombe. Il sent maintenant.» Mais elle a dit: «Je sais que maintenant même, tout ce que Tu demanderas à Dieu, Dieu Te l’accordera.»
Oh! la la! quelque chose doit arriver. «Maintenant même, Seigneur, maintenant même, quoi qu’il soit mort, quoi qu’il soit dans la tombe, quoi qu’il sente. Mais je sais que Tu es exactement ce que Tu as dit que Tu étais.» Voilà une âme pénitente devant le Créateur. Les roues tournent en harmonie. Quelque chose doit arriver. La foi dans la Parole l’avait libérée: «Maintenant même, Seigneur, tout ce que Tu demanderas à Dieu, Dieu Te l’accordera.»
| E-43 Martha said, "Lord, if Thou would've been here, my brother would not have died." He said, "Thy brother shall rise again."
She said, "Yes, Lord. I know he will raise again in the last day." He was a good boy. The Jews believed in the general resurrection of the last day, especially the Pharisees.
She said, "I know he will raise in the last days."
He said, "I am the Resurrection and Life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."
She said, "I know that whatever... He's dead and buried. He's rotting out there in the grave. He stinketh now." But said, "I know that even now, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You."
Oh, my, something has to take place. "Even now, Lord, even now, though he's dead, though he's in the grave, though he's stinking. But I know that You're just exactly what You said You was." There's a penitent soul before the Creator. The wheels are coming together. Something's got to happen. Faith in the Word had loosed her. "Even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You."

E-44 Peut-être que vous avez été à l’hôpital. Peut-être que le médecin dit que vous allez mourir. «Mais maintenant même, Seigneur...» Pouvez-vous Lui parler? Il est assis à la droite de Dieu, intercédant sur base de vos confessions. «Le médecin dit que je vais mourir, mais maintenant même, Seigneur, tout ce que Tu demanderas à Dieu, Dieu Te l’accordera.»
Vous direz: «On m’a dit que je ne verrai plus jamais. Je suis aveugle. Mais maintenant même, Seigneur, tout ce que Tu demanderas à Dieu, Dieu Te l’accordera.» Il est le Souverain Sacrificateur de votre confession, Il est assis à la droite de Dieu, intercédant sur base de ce que vous professez. Et vous avez le droit de professer chaque bénédiction rédemptrice pour laquelle Il est mort. Car Il était blessé pour nos péchés, brisé pour nos iniquités; le châtiment qui nous donne la paix est tombé sur Lui, et par Ses meurtrissures nous avons été guéris.
«Maintenant même, Seigneur, je ne me préoccupe pas de ce que dit le médecin, de ce que dit la science. Mais maintenant même, Seigneur, tout ce que Tu demanderas à Dieu, Dieu Te l’accordera.» Croyez-vous cela? Maintenant même, tout ce que Tu lui demanderas, Il le fera. Quelque chose doit arriver.
| E-44 Maybe you've been at the hospital. Maybe the doctor says you're going to die. "But even now, Lord..." Can You speak to Him, He's setting at the right hand of God making intercessions on your confessions. "The doctor says I'm going to die, but even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You."
You say, "They tell me I'll never see again. I'm blind. But even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You. He's the High Priest of your confession, setting at the right hand of God, making intercession on what you profess. And you've got a right to profess any redemptive blessing that He's died for. He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace upon Him and with His stripes we were healed.
"Even now, Lord, I don't care what the doctor says, what the science says. But even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You." You believe it? Even now, whatever You ask Him, He will do. Something's got to happen.

E-45 Voilà un coeur plein de foi qui regardait cette belle jeune fille, les larmes lui coulant sur les joues et se mêlant à sa chevelure, elle a dit: «Maintenant même, Seigneur, tout ce que Tu demanderas à Dieu, Dieu Te l’accordera.»
Il a dit: «Où l’avez-vous enterré?» Amen.
Il est allé à la tombe, en pleurant. C’est juste. Il était un Homme pendant qu’Il pleurait. Mais lorsqu’Il s’est adressé à un homme qui était mort depuis quatre jours, l’âme de ce dernier avait effectué un voyage de quatre jours. J’ignore où elle était, vous aussi. Mais peu importe l’endroit où elle était, la corruption a reconnu son Maître, et l’âme a reconnu son Créateur. Et un homme qui était mort depuis quatre jours s’est tenu debout et est revenu à la vie, ça c’était plus qu’un homme. C’était le Dieu des Cieux parlant par Son Fils.
| E-45 There was a heart full of faith looking at that beautiful girl with the tears rolling down her cheeks, mixed up with her hair, she said, "Even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You."
Said, "Where you buried him?" Amen.
Went down to the grave, weeping. That's right. He was a man when He was crying. But when He spoke to a man that had been dead for four days, His soul was a four day's journey. I don't know where it was, neither do you. But wherever it was, corruption knew its Creator, and the soul knew it Maker. And a man had been dead for four days stood on his feet and lived again; that was more than a man. That was the Divine God of heaven speaking through His Son.

E-46 Il était un Homme lorsqu’Il descendait de la montagne, affamé, Il a cherché sur un arbre pour trouver quelque chose à manger. Il était un Homme, lorsqu’Il était affamé. Mais lorsqu’Il prit cinq pains et deux morceaux de poisson et qu’Il nourrit cinq mille personnes, c’était plus qu’un homme. C’était Dieu parlant à travers cet Homme. Il était le grand Diamant.
Il était un Homme lorsqu’il était couché là dans la barque ce soir-là, et la vertu L’avait quitté pour avoir guéri et prêché toute la journée, à tel point que dix mille démons de la mer avaient juré de Le noyer. Et cette vieille petite barque était ballottée comme un bouchon de liège là sur cette mer, les démons disaient: «Nous L’avons eu.» Et la barre s’est brisée, les voiles sont tombées, et les rames ont été emportées. Et ils L’ont réveillé. Il était un Homme alors qu’Il dormait. Mais lorsqu’Il a posé Son pied sur le bastingage, Il a levé les yeux et Il a dit: «Silence, tais-toi!», et que les vents et les vagues ont obéi, c’était plus qu’un homme qui parlait. C’était Dieu parlant par Son Fils. Il était Dieu.
| E-46 He was a man when He come down off the mountain, hungry, looking over a tree to find something to eat. He was a man hungry. But when He took five biscuits and two pieces of fish and fed five thousand, that was more than a man. That was God speaking through that man. He was the master Diamond.
He was a man when he laid out there on the ship that night with virtue out of Him from healing and preaching through the day, until the ten thousand devils of the sea swore they'd drown Him. And that little old ship like a bottle stopper out there on that sea, the devil said, "We got Him." And the helm broke, and the sails down, and the oars gone. And they woke Him. He was a man asleep. But when He put His foot on the brail of the boat, looked up and said, "Peace be still," and the winds and the waves obeyed, that was more than a man speaking. That was God speaking out of His Son. He was deity.

E-47 Lorsqu’Il est mort au Calvaire, implorant miséricorde, Il était un Homme qui appelait au secours. Mais le matin de Pâques, lorsque les sceaux de la mort et de la tombe furent brisés, Il ressuscita; Il prouva qu’Il était Dieu.

E-48 Le voilà. Il est Dieu. Il était Emmanuel, Dieu dans la Personne de Son Fils. Dieu ne pouvait pas utiliser Son don... Il ne se plaignait pas d’être affaibli lorsque Dieu utilisait Son don. Mais une petite femme juste après cela, juste avant cela, voulait utiliser le don de Dieu. Alors elle s’est assise, elle a dit: «Je crois qu’Il est Dieu. Je crois qu’Il est ce qu’Il déclare être: le Fils de Dieu.» Alors elle a dit: «Ça fait des années que j’ai cette perte de sang.»
Cela faisait environ dix-huit ans, je crois, d’après les Ecritures. Si je ne me trompe pas là-dessus... douze ans. Ça faisait douze ans qu’elle avait cette perte de sang. Les médecins avaient échoué.
Et les critiqueurs se tenaient là, et les pasteurs et les diacres se tenaient là ce matin-là. Et voici venir la petite femme, se faufilant là. «Tiens, tu veux me dire que tu vas devenir une sainte exaltée? Oh! rentre.» Elle balaya cela d’un geste. Son coeur était résolu de rencontrer Jésus.
Alors écartant tout ce qui était contraire, elle est arrivée là où Il se trouvait. Elle a touché Son vêtement, et elle s’est retournée, elle est rentrée. Jésus s’est arrêté, Il a dit: «Qui M’a touché?» Il a dit: «Je ne sais pas qui M’a touché.» Qu’était-ce?
Dieu ne Lui avait rien montré. C’est juste. Mais c’est la foi de cette femme qui avait touché ce Don. Il a dit...
| E-48 There He is. He's deity. He was Emmanuel, God in the Person of His Son. God couldn't use His gift. He didn't complain of being weak when God used His gift. But a little woman right after that, right before that, she wanted to use God's gift. So she sits up, and she said, "I believe Him to be deity. I believe He's what He says He is; the Son of God." So she said, "I've had this blood issue here for many years." About eighteen years, I believe the sister says. I'm not mistaken on that--twelve years. She had this blood issue for twelve years. The doctors had failed.
And the critics were standing by, and the pastors and the deacons standing that morning. And here come the little woman squeezing around. "Here, you mean to tell me you're going to become a holy-roller? Why, you go back up." She just brushed him aside. She had her heart set on meeting Jesus.
So brushing aside everything that was contrary, She got to where He was. She touched His garment and turned around, walked back. Jesus stopped, said, "Who touched Me?" He said, "I don't know who touched Me." What was it?
God hadn't showed Him nothing. That's right. But the woman's faith had touched that gift. He said...

Maintenant, à vous qui ne croyez pas à la guérison divine, le mot grec utilisé là c’est Sozo, sauvé, physiquement sauvé. C’est le même mot chaque fois, cela est traduit par le même mot, Sozo, à la fois physiquement et spirituellement. Elle était sauvée de sa perte de sang. «Ta foi t’a sauvée.»
Qu’était-ce? La femme, par sa foi, avait contacté Dieu au travers du Fils de Dieu, et avait tiré du Fils de Dieu son désir. C’était là une femme utilisant le don de Dieu.
Sur l’estrade, quand Dieu, solennellement, donne une vision... Maintenant, vous avez dit là que dans ce cas-là, Il a dit: «Je me suis affaibli.» Mais combien c’était un miracle plus glorieux lorsque Dieu Lui-même utilisait Son don? Tenez! C’est comme un...

He said, "But I got weak. Virtue went from Me, somebody touched Me." And He looked around, then where that weakness was coming from, a stream of current of spirit picked out the little woman where she was setting. How real. "Thy faith has saved thee."
Now, to you people who don't believe in Divine healing, the greek work used there is "Sozo," saved, physically saved. Just the same every time, it's translated the same thing, "Sozo," both physical and spiritual. She was saved from her blood issue. "Thy faith has saved thee."
What was it? The woman, with her faith, had contacted God through the Son of God, and had drawed from the Son of God her desire. That was a woman using God's gift.
On the platform of God's solemnly, gives a vision. Now, you said there that in that instance, He said that, "I got weak." But how much greater a miracle was it when God used His gift? Here it is. It's like a...

La guérison divine ne consiste pas à toucher un mat totémique, ou un clou, ou quelque chose d’autre. C’est la foi souveraine dans l’oeuvre achevée du Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Certainement, c’est Christ. C’est entièrement achevé. C’est votre foi.
| E-50 When we were boys we used to go to the carnival, or circus, it was. And say, for instance, I was a little taller than you. And there was a hole up here; we could peek through it. You couldn't see it, yet you were stronger than me. God makes us different ways.

"Brother Branham, how is it that these things happen? How can you say to this one out here?" Now, as the Scripture, you know Jesus did the same thing. It's not me; it's Him.
And if you didn't have the faith to reach and get it, it'll never happen. It's your faith. If you ever get anything from God, it'll never come through a preacher or a priest. It'll come through your individual faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary.
Divine healing isn't touching a totem pole, or a boil, or something another. It's sovereign faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Certainly, It's Christ. It's all finished. It's your faith.

Et les Juifs avaient dit la même chose. Lorsqu’ils ont vu cela s’accomplir, ils ont dit... La femme au puits, Il lui a révélé ses péchés, ou les péchés qu’elle commettait. Lorsqu’Il a dit à Philippe là-bas qu’Il avait vu Nathanaël sous l’arbre, lorsqu’il–avant qu’il n’arrive là-bas.

And the Jew said the same thing. When they seen it done, they said... The woman at the well, He told her her sins, or the sin that she was doing. When He told Philip down there that He saw Nathanael under the tree, when He--'fore he come over there. The Jew said, "He's Beelzebub."
Jesus said, "I'll forgive you, but when the Holy Ghost is come and does that, you speak a word against that, and it'll never be forgiven you." Prophesying that the Holy Ghost would come, 'cause He's raised from the dead, and He's here in the form of the Holy Ghost, the same Jesus.

Not me, see? It's a physical part. It's a part that you do. God chose a gift, and it just a chose a--a place to go places. You go out here, and I'll go to Denver, and you all read in the paper of mysterious things happen on the street. I was over there. That's what it was. See?
Nobody knew it but just told me to go over there, many places. My followers and things know about it. He will tell me to go somewhere, stand on the street a certain time; there'll be a certain thing happen. It'll happen just exactly that way. Nobody knows where it come from, where it--what about it. Nobody knows. I just go ahead and do what He tells me to do.
Well, that don't bother me. But right here on the platform, just one vision will just take the life out of you. What is it? It's you.

C’est comme ici, Jésus était (oh!) toute l’eau de l’océan. Ce don, c’est juste une cuillérée de cette eau. Mais si c’est l’eau de l’océan, les mêmes éléments chimiques qui sont dans tout l’océan plein se trouvent dans cette cuillérée. Voyez-vous ce que je veux dire? La même qualité...
A quoi cela sert-il? A exalter un certain homme d’une certaine église? Ça non. C’est pour exalter Jésus-Christ. Si cela est donné à un autre en dehors de Lui, Dieu vous fera rendre compte de cela au jour du Jugement. Je ne dirais pas qu’il faut un don, parce que les dons et les appels sont sans repentance.

Just like here, Jesus was, oh, all the water in the ocean. This gift is just a spoonful out of that. But if it's ocean water, the same chemicals will be in the spoonful that's in the whole ocean full. See what I mean? The same quality...
What is it to do? To magnify some man of some church? No, sir. It's to magnify Jesus Christ. If it's given any other from that, God will make you answer for it in the day of judgment. I wouldn't say it takes a gift, 'cause they're without repentance, gifts and callings.

Maybe you preach, maybe you're a pastor, maybe you're a teacher, maybe you're a evangelist. You don't see visions. I see vision, and I'm--I'm none of them. See? But God has set in the church all these things for the perfecting of the body. Now, do you follow me?

And you are setting out there in the audience, and you're saying, "God, let him speak to me. Let him speak to me. I know there's something wrong with me. I don't know what it is, but I know where my trouble is. If he will speak to me, I'll believe it. I'll believe that You are the same. If he knows me, then I know the man don't know me, then I believe it's You."
What's that doing it? Yes, the lady setting here, she has a so-and-so. She was just praying for... See what I mean?

Say, "Well, you're a pretty tall guy, I'll just lift you up." So then when he does that, he lifts me right up with his hands like this and by the nape of the neck and says, "You see, here's the--a--the carnival coming this way, and there's all these circus; and it's going to go through here and go out there, come back down. I'm not tired when it sets down." He showed me the whole thing. See?
I'm not tired. He lifted me up. Then I come out of them kind of visions, it don't bother me. But when you go to pulling, you're pulling from the strength. See what I mean? Do you understand me now?

Maintenant, Dieu avait donné un don au temps de Salomon. Et Salomon avait un don de sagesse. Il était intelligent par la sagesse de Dieu, ce n’était pas par sa propre sagesse, mais par celle de Dieu. C’est ce qu’il avait demandé à Dieu, et Dieu le lui a donné.
Et si n’importe quel don de Dieu est reconnu comme étant la vérité... Et tout le monde qui allait là, découvrait ce que c’était, ce qu’on en rapportait et, oh! ...?... Lisez 2 Chroniques, chapitre 9, lorsque vous rentrerez chez vous.
Et puis, là très loin à Séba, la reine, une merveilleuse femme... Ecoutez attentivement maintenant. Tout le monde, peut-être, qui passait par là lui disait: «Tu devrais aller en Palestine, le Grand Dieu du Ciel...» Eh bien, elle n’était pas... Elle était une païenne.

Gifts and callings set in the church are to magnify and to make a people ready. Now, I'm coming to my text. I went way around it, but just about five minutes now and the text. Now, listen real closely.
Now, God gave a gift in the time of Solomon. And Solomon had a gift of wisdom. He was smart by wisdom of God, not of his own, but of God. He asked God for that, and God give that to him.
And if any gift of God will be recognized to be the truth... And everybody going around was finding out what this was, the talk coming about it, and oh...?... You read II Chronicles the 9th chapter when you go home.
And then, way down in Sheba, the queen, a wonderful woman... Listen close now. Everybody, perhaps, come by was telling her, "You should go up to Palestine, the great God of heaven..." Now, she wasn't... She was a pagan.

Cela continua ainsi au point où la reine a dit: «Vous savez quoi? Je crois que j’irai voir cela moi-même.» Voilà ce qu’il faut faire.
Ne restez pas au loin pour dire: «Je n’y crois pas.» Voyez-vous où se trouve son nom ce soir? Immortel, elle est sauvée. Mais ses actes (Comment?) vis-à-vis du don de Dieu... C’est pour cela que Marthe a obtenu que son frère, l’âme de son frère soit ramenée à la vie; c’étaient sa foi et ses actes vis-à-vis du Don de Dieu. C’est ainsi que cette femme avait été guérie de sa perte de sang. C’était sa foi vis-à-vis du Don de Dieu.
| E-59 "Well, the great God of heaven had blessed a man and give him a gift. And he's named Solomon. You should see the power of his gift of the God of Israel." So many people telling her, you know, faith cometh by what? Hearing.
Everybody come by. A traveler passed by through Sheba, why, she'd, why, she--she hear of it. "Oh, we come through Palestine. It's great. God has given a great gift up there."
It kept on till the queen said, "You know what? I believe I'll go, see for myself." There's the way to do it.
Don't stand off and say, "I don't believe it."
See where her name is tonight? Immortal, she's saved. But her actions (What?) towards God's gift... That's the reason Martha got her brother, his soul, back to life: her faith and actions towards God's Gift. That was the way the woman got her blood issue healed. Her faith towards God's Gift.

E-60 Et la reine de Séba, elle, a dit: «Eh bien, je me suis peut-être trompée, mais si tout ce que j’entends est la vérité, ça doit être merveilleux. Alors je vais aller.»
Comprenez-vous ce que cette femme devait faire? Elle a probablement fait au moins trois mois dans le désert, une femme, pas dans une salle climatisée, mais assise sur un chameau. Comprenez-vous quel sacrifice c’était?
Et ce soir, nous pouvons entendre parler du don de Dieu et nous ne voulons pas traverser la rue. Il n’est pas étonnant qu’il soit dit qu’elle se lèverait et condamnerait cette génération. Mais elle voulait savoir. Cela valait plus que la vie pour elle. Maintenant, quand elle a pris des richesses et–et des présents à offrir au don, si c’était vrai... Maintenant, cette petite femme s’est mise en route avec toutes ces richesses, ces aromates et ces talents d’or et tout, à offrir pour la cause de Dieu, si c’était vrai. Elle ne savait pas si c’était vrai. Elle avait simplement entendu parler. Ainsi la foi vient de ce qu’on entend. Alors elle s’est rendue à la réunion pour savoir. Considérez quel risque elle a dû prendre.
| E-60 And the queen of Sheba, she said, "Now, I may be wrong, but all this if it is the truth what I hear, it must be marvelous. So I'll go."
Do you realize what that woman had to do? She was probably at least three months in the desert, a woman, not with an air-conditioned room, but setting on a camel. Do you realize what a sacrifice?
And tonight, we can hear of God's gift and won't walk across the street. No wonder she'll raise up and condemn this generation. But she wanted to know. It was worth more than life to her. Now, whenever she took riches and--and gifts to give to it, if it was so. Now, this little woman set out with all these riches, spices, and talents of gold, and everything to give to the cause of God if it was so. She didn't know it was so. She just heard. So faith cometh by hearing. So she goes to the meeting to find out. Look what she had to risk.

E-61 En ces jours-là ce désert était plein d’Ismaélites et de brigands. Eh bien, ils allaient mettre la petite garde en pièces et emporter tout cet or et toutes ces affaires. Mais si vous cherchez réellement Dieu, Dieu veillera à ce que vous y arriviez (Voyez? Vous y êtes.), si vous êtes sincère. Elle l’était. Elle a dit: «J’aimerais voir moi-même.» Alors la voici qui s’en va à bord d’une petite caravane, nuit après nuit, jour après jour, les peines du désert, les gémissements des chameaux, les plaintes des serviteurs, le soleil brûlant, le soleil de plomb, les rayons directs et chauds de ce soleil d’Arabie là dans ce... soleil d’Afrique vous brûle tout simplement.
Et elle a chevauché, une reine, avec toute la splendeur. Elle ne s’est pas souciée du temps que cela allait lui prendre. Elle voulait voir elle-même. Oh! si les gens des–des nations, lorsqu’ils entendent dire que Dieu a accompli quelque chose, si seulement ils venaient avec sincérité pour voir eux-mêmes! Vous saisissez?
| E-61 In them days them deserts was full of Ishmaelites and robbers. Why, they would tear that little guard down and take all that gold and stuff. But if you're really seeking God, God will see that you get there (See? There you are.), if you're sincere. She was. She said, "I want to see for myself." So here she goes on the little caravan, night after night, day after day, the toil on the desert, the moans of the camel, the complains of the servants, the hot blistering sun, its hot direct rays of that Arabian sun down in there in that--sun in Africa will just burn you up.
And she riding along, a queen, all the ritz. She didn't care how long it took her. She wanted to see for herself. Oh, if people of--of the nations, when they hear that God has did anything, if they would just come and be sincere, and see for yourself, you get it?

E-62 Maintenant, en arrivant, elle est venue auprès de Salomon. Elle n’est pas venue juste pour rester une seule soirée. Elle avait l’intention de voir la chose du début jusqu’à la fin. C’est ce qu’il faut faire. Restez avec la chose. Elle allait tester cela et examiner cela.
Alors c’était finalement son tour. Et lorsqu’elle s’est tenue devant Salomon, il lui a révélé tout ce qu’elle avait dans son coeur. Comme c’est réel! Le don de Dieu opère toujours parfaitement. Salomon lui a révélé ce qu’elle avait dans son coeur selon la–la Bible; il lui a parlé de toutes les questions qu’elle avait dans son coeur, Dieu opérant par Son don.
Et lorsque la reine s’apprêtait à retourner, qu’a-t-elle dit? Lorsqu’elle a offert tous ces présents à Salomon, elle a dit: «Les choses que j’avais apprises étaient justes, et même que c’est plus glorieux que ce que j’avais déjà entendu.» Elle a dit: «Béni soit le Dieu de Salomon, qui lui a donné toute cette sagesse et toutes ces choses.»
| E-62 Now, as she come, she came to Solomon. She didn't come just to stay one night. She was going to see the thing through. That's the way to do it. Stay with it. She was going to test it and examine it.
So it finally come her turn. And when she stood before Solomon, he revealed to her everything that was in her heart. How real. God's gift always works right. Solomon told her the things that was in her heart according to the--the Bible, told her every question that was in her heart, God working through His gift.
And when the queen got ready to return, what did she say? when she give all these gifts to Solomon? She said, "The things that I heard about was right and even greater than I ever heard." She said, "Blessed be the God of Solomon Who has give him all this wisdom and these things."

E-63 Et Jésus, parce qu’elle a fait cela, étant une paysanne, elle est venue se réconcilier avec Dieu en voyant le don de Dieu opérer parfaitement, et qu’elle est devenue une croyante en Dieu, Jésus a dit: «Vous, bande d’hypocrites instruits, membres d’église, a-t-Il dit, elle se lèvera au jour du Jugement et vous condamnera, parce qu’elle est venue des extrémités du monde connu de ce temps-là pour voir la sagesse de Salomon, et cependant Je vous dis qu’il y a ici plus que Salomon.»
Et je vous dis ce soir, frère et soeur, qu’au jour du Jugement, la reine de Séba condamnera les Etats-Unis d’Amérique. Elle condamnera ce soi-disant monde chrétien, parce que Dieu vous donne quelque chose de miraculeux.
Et ces prétendus membres d’église se tiendront à l’écart et à cause des éloges personnels des hommes ou à cause de la dignité fabriquée par l’homme, des choses qu’ils se sont faites, ils vont critiquer le Saint-Esprit et les oeuvres du Saint-Esprit et traiter cela de fanatisme, et ils vont essayer de rejeter cela. Et les paroles mêmes qui ont été prononcées devant le Congrès aujourd’hui c’est: arrêter des réunions comme celles-ci.
Voici la seule chose que je peux dire à ce sujet. Et je le dis en tant que serviteur de Dieu. Je dis ceci: «Ce n’est que de la pure jalousie.» C’est juste.
| E-63 And Jesus, because she did that, being a peasant, and come, and was reconciled to God by seeing the gift of God work perfectly, become a believer in God, Jesus said, "You bunch of educated, church-going hypocrites." He said, "She'll raise up in the day of judgment and condemn you, because she come from the uttermost parts of the known world at that day to see the wisdom of Solomon, and yet I said unto you that a greater than Solomon is here."
And I say to you tonight, brother and sister, that in the day of judgment, the queen of Sheba will condemn the United States of America. She'll condemn the so-called Christian world. Because God give you something miraculous.
And the so-called church-goer will stand off on a side and because of personal praises of men or dignity of man-made, self-made things that they have; they'll criticize the Holy Spirit and the workings of the Holy Ghost and call it fanaticism and try to oust it out. And the very words before the Congress today is to stop such meetings as this.
Here's the only thing I can say about it. And I say it as a servant of God. I say this: that it's nothing in the world but unadulterated jealousy. That's right.

E-64 Lorsque Pierre, Jacques et Jean ont reçu la puissance, Jésus leur donna la puissance pour guérir les malades, chasser les démons, ressusciter les morts. L’Eglise aujourd’hui n’a pas besoin de pouvoir. Elle a besoin de la foi pour faire opérer le pouvoir qu’elle possède. On vous a injecté trop de fluide de thanatopraxie au point que les jours des miracles sont passés et qu’il n’y a qu’une vieille morgue froide avec des glaçons–des glaçons spirituels pendant, avec une température de moins 90° [-32° C]... Et il y a là quelqu’un qui a un fluide de mort à vous injecter pour être sûr que vous êtes bel et bien mort...
| E-64 When Peter, James, and John had received power, Jesus gave them power to heal the sick, to cast out devils, to raise the dead. I can show you where God give that power to the church. And you that don't believe in Divine Healing or miracles, show me where He took it away from the church. But when they received this...
The church today isn't needing power. It's needing faith to operate what power it has. You've had so much embalming fluid pushed into you that the days of miracles is past and some old cold morgue with the icicles--the spiritual icicles hanging down with ninety below zero... And somebody in there with some dead fluid to pump into you to be sure that you stay dead...

Celui qui vient à Dieu doit croire que Dieu existe et qu’Il est le Rémunérateur de ceux qui Le cherchent. Il est vivant. Il est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement dans chaque principe et chaque puissance, le Christ vivant... Lorsque ces disciples avaient reçu ce pouvoir, observez cela, cela se trouve simplement dans l’homme. Oh! ils pensaient qu’ils avaient été honorés. Et ils sont carrément partis quelques jours plus tard, et ils se sont retrouvés impuissants devant un cas d’épilepsie. Ils n’ont pas réussi à chasser le démon. Et Jésus vint et Il leur dit: «Oh! race incrédule, pendant combien de temps vous supporterai-Je? Amenez-le ici.» Oh! frère, lorsqu’il s’est présenté devant ce vrai Joyau, Celui-ci a chassé de lui le démon. Et les disciples sont venus Le voir et ils ont dit: «Seigneur, as-Tu retiré Ta puissance?»Il n’a jamais dit: «Vous n’avez pas de puissance.»Ils ont dit: «Pourquoi n’y sommes-nous pas parvenus?»Il n’a jamais dit: «Eh bien, c’est parce que vous avez perdu la puissance.» Il a dit: «C’est à cause de votre incrédulité.»

He that cometh of God must believe that He is and a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He is alive. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever in every principle and power, living Christ...?...
When these disciples had received that power, look at it, it just lays in man. Oh, they thought they were dignified. And they go right out a few days later and find themselves helpless before a epileptic. They could not cast the devil out.
And Jesus come along and He said to them, "Oh, you faithless generation. How long will I suffer you. Bring him here." Oh, brother, when he come before that real Jewel, He cast the devil out of him.
And the disciples come to Him, they said, "Lord, did You take Your power back?"
He never said, "You don't have power."
They said, "Why can't we do it?"
He never said, "Well, because you lost your power."
He said, "Because of your unbelief."

E-66 Quelques jours plus tard, ils ont trouvé un homme qui chassait les démons et qui n’était pas un disciple. Et cet homme faisait du bon travail. Il en faisait vraiment. Il chassait les démons. Il s’était tenu là, Jésus avait dit: «Quiconque veut.»
Lui a dit: «Ça c’est moi.» Et il est parti. Et il faisait du bon travail. C’est juste.
Et ils étaient jaloux parce qu’eux n’arrivaient pas à le faire. Et ils ont dit à Jésus, ils ont dit: «Nous l’en avons empêché.»
Il a dit: «Ne l’en empêchez pas, car celui qui n’est pas avec nous disperse. Il n’est personne qui, faisant un miracle en Mon Nom, puisse aussitôt parler en mal de Moi.» Et aujourd’hui, il n’y a que le jeu, l’enfantillage, la jalousie enfantine parmi les grandes églises qui ne veulent pas s’abaisser pour recevoir le baptême du Saint-Esprit et pratiquer la guérison divine et les puissances du Saint-Esprit dans les églises. Amen, c’est exactement le...?... C’est vrai.
| E-66 A few days later from that, they found a man casting out devils who wasn't a disciple. And the man was getting the job done. He was actually getting it done. He was casting out devils. He stood around here, Jesus said, "Whosoever will."
He said, "That's me." And away he went. He was getting the job done. That's right.
And they were jealous because they couldn't do it. And they told Jesus, they said, "We forbid him."
He said, "Don't forbid him, for he that's not with us, scatters abroad. No man can do a miracle in My Name can speak light of Me." And today, it's nothing but play, child-like, juvenile jealousy among the high churches that won't bring themselves down to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and practice Divine Healing and the powers of the Holy Ghost among the churches. Amen, exactly the...?... It's true.

E-67 Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu, est ressuscité des morts. Soit c’est la vérité, soit cette Bible est en erreur. Je sais que c’est la vérité. Il vit; Il n’est pas mort.
Et s’Il ne se manifeste pas comme étant le même qu’aux jours d’autrefois, alors Il n’est pas vivant; en effet, Il a promis: «Vous ferez aussi les oeuvres que Je fais. Vous en ferez même davantage parce que Je m’en vais au Père.»
Et le monde possède la Bible, il lit la Bible, et dit: «Vous les docteurs, manifestez cela, et nous croirons qu’Il est ressuscité.» Jusqu’à ce jour, les mahométans sont exactement comme les autres, Bouddha et les autres. Mais grâces soient rendues à Dieu, Jésus vit. Il est ressuscité des morts. Et ce n’est pas de la fiction. Ce n’est pas de la théologie faite par l’homme, fabriquée chez soi par l’homme.
| E-67 Jesus Christ, God's Son, has raised from the dead. That's either the truth or this Bible is in error. I know that it is the truth. He lives; He is not dead.
And if He doesn't make Himself the same as He was the days gone by, then He is not alive, for He promised, "The works that I do shall you also. Even more than this shall you do for I go to My Father."
And the world has got the Bible, reads the Bible, and said, "You teachers produce it; we'll believe He raised." Until then, Mohammedans just the same as the rest of them, Buddhas and the rest of them. But thanks be to God; Jesus lives. He's alive from the dead. And it's not some fictitious make-up. It's not some man-made, homemade theology.

E-68 Ces gens qui disent que les jours des miracles sont passés, leur argument est moins consistant qu’un bouillon à base de l’ombre d’un poulet mort de faim. Ils n’ont rien sur quoi s’appuyer ni une Ecriture sur laquelle s’appuyer.
Tout homme capable de prêcher quelque chose contre le péché doit reconnaître que la maladie est un attribut du péché, il est tenu de le reconnaître. Amen. Je le dis du fond de mon coeur. Vous ne pourrez pas traiter du péché sans traiter de ses attributs.
Si un serpent avait sa... si un gros animal avait sa patte posée sur votre côté, il ne serait pas nécessaire de lui couper la patte. Frappez-le simplement à la tête, cela va régler l’affaire pour la patte.
Et lorsque Christ est mort pour le péché, Il a frappé à la tête le péché et tout ce qui accompagnait le péché, même la mort elle-même. Et nous ne sommes pas morts, mais nous sommes vivants. «Celui qui écoute Mes Paroles, et qui croit à Celui qui M’a envoyé, quand même il serait mort, cependant il vivra; et quiconque vit et croit en Moi ne mourra jamais.»
Il a conquis la mort, le séjour des morts, la tombe. Paul a dit lorsqu’il est arrivé devant la tombe: «Ô mort, où est ton aiguillon? Ô tombe, où est ta victoire? Mais grâces soient rendues à Dieu qui nous donne la victoire par notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ.» Il est vivant.
| E-68 Those people that say the days of miracles is past, their argument is thinner than the broth made out of the shadow of a chicken that's starved to death. They haven't got a leg to stand on or a Scripture to stand on.
Any man that could preach anything against sin, has to recognize sickness as the attributes of sin, got to. Amen. I mean that from my heart. You can't deal with sin without dealing with its attributes.
If a serpent had its... If a big animal had its paws in your side, you just don't have to cut off his paw. Just knock him in the head; it'll take care of the paw.
And when Christ died for sin, He knocked sickness in the head and everything that went with it, even death itself. And we are not dead, but we are alive. "He that heareth My words and believeth on Him that sent Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die."
He conquered death, hell, the grave. Paul said when He come to the grave, "Oh, death, where is thy sting? Oh, grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." He lives.

E-69 Le monde a faim, mais la chaire est faible. Nous avons les meilleurs médecins que nous ayons jamais eus. Nous avons les meilleurs hôpitaux que nous ayons jamais eus. Nous avons les meilleurs médicaments que nous ayons jamais utilisés, et nous avons plus de maladies que nous n’en avons jamais eues. Pourquoi? Nous avons de pires chaires, les plus faibles que nous ayons jamais eues, bien que nous ayons les meilleures églises et les hommes les mieux instruits que nous ayons jamais eus. Mais nous avons les églises les plus faibles que nous ayons jamais eues. Nous avons plus de péché que le monde n’ait jamais connu, l’incrédulité. Qu’est-ce que le péché, si ce n’est l’incrédulité?
«Celui qui ne croit pas est déjà condamné.» C’est juste. Voilà votre péché. Ce n’est pas le fait de fumer, de boire; ça ce sont les attributs de l’incrédulité. Mais vous êtes un pécheur parce que vous ne croyez pas.
| E-69 The world is hungering, but the pulpit is weak. We got the best doctors we ever had. We got the best hospitals we ever had. We got the best drugs we ever practiced with, and we got more sickness than we ever had. Why? We got the worst pulpits, the weakest we ever had, though we got the best churches and the best educated men we ever had. But we got the weakest churches we've ever had. We got more sin than the world ever knowed of, unbelief. What is sin but unbelief?
"He that believeth not is condemned already." That's right. There's your sin. Not smoking, drinking, that's attributes of unbelief. But you're a sinner because you don't believe.

E-70 Lorsque Jésus posa la question, Il demanda: «Quand Je reviendrai sur la terre...» Il n’a pas dit: «Trouverai-Je des églises? Trouverai-Je la sincérité? Trouverai-Je des docteurs? Trouverai-Je l’enseignement de la Bible? Trouverai-Je des gens faisant ceci?» Il a dit: «Trouverai-Je la foi?»
Vous avez la puissance. Ce qu’il vous faut, c’est la foi. Côté position, sachez où vous êtes en Christ, puis abandonnez-vous. Alléluia! Ne pensez pas que je suis fou...?... Si je le suis, laissez-moi tranquille. Je suis plus heureux dans cet état que je ne l’étais dans l’autre. C’est juste. Je ne suis pas fou. C’est vrai. Je sens tout simplement... je sais que mon Rédempteur est vivant. Je sais qu’Il est vivant. Oui. Oh! je peux Le voir pendant qu’Il avance et marche.
Je sais qu’Il est dans cette salle maintenant même. Je sais que Sa Présence, c’est «Là où deux ou trois sont assemblés... Je suis au milieu d’eux.»
| E-70 When Jesus questioned, said, "When I come to the earth..." He didn't say, "Will I find churches? Will I find sincerity? Will I find teachers? Will I find teaching the Bible? Will I find doing this?" He said, "Will I find any faith?"
You got the power. You need faith. Positionally know where you are in Christ, then yield yourself. Hallelujah. Don't think I'm crazy...?... If I am, leave me alone. I'm happier this way than I was the other way. That's right. I'm not crazy. That's true. I just feel... I know that my Redeemer liveth. I know He liveth. Yes. Oh, I can see Him as He moves and walks.
I know He's in this building right now. I know that His Presence "to wherever two or three are gathered together I'll be in their midst."

E-71 Je ne crois pas que mon fils a distribué des... Je ne crois pas qu’ils ont distribué des cartes de prière aujourd’hui. Je lui ai dit de ne pas le faire, parce que j’allais prêcher. Mais je sens que le Saint-Esprit est tellement proche juste en ce moment. Je crois que nous allons quand même prier pour les malades. Je crois que nous allons le faire.
Je L’ai vu venir à l’estrade me demander juste une minute, d’attendre une minute. Il n’est pas nécessaire que nous vous fassions monter ici muni d’une carte de prière. Restez là où vous êtes. Croyez la mission qui a été prêchée ce soir et le message qui a été prêché, et vous verrez Jésus-Christ se mouvoir sur la scène.
Nous n’avons pas besoin de cartes de prière lorsque l’onction du Saint-Esprit est là. Il est là pour guérir. Il est là pour accorder tout ce à quoi il a été pourvu. C’est juste. Ecoutez.
| E-71 I don't believe my boy give out any... I don't believe they give out prayer cards today. I told him not to, because I was going to preach. But I feel that the Holy Spirit is so close right at this time. I believe we'll pray for the sick anyhow. I believe we'll do it.
I seen Him come to the platform to ask me just a minute, to wait a minute. We don't need you up here as a prayer. We don't need you up here as a prayer card. You stay where you are. You believe the mission that's been preached tonight and the message that's been preached and you'll see Jesus Christ move on the scene.
Don't need prayer cards when the anointing of the Holy Ghost is present. He's there to heal. He's there to give whatever's given. That's right. Listen.

E-72 Une fois, pendant que les gens prêchaient là-bas, Jésus allait à–était en route, après la résurrection. Deux personnes faisaient leur route vers un autre village appelé Emmaüs. Et là, sur leur chemin, Jésus est sorti carrément sur la route et Il a fait route avec eux durant toute la journée. Et ils ne L’ont pas reconnu. Est-ce juste? Ils ne L’ont pas reconnu.
Il s’est entretenu avec eux. Et beaucoup parmi vous qui fréquentez l’église, Jésus vous a secourus à maintes reprises, mais vous n’avez pas reconnu cela. Il vous a secourus, Il vous a bénis, Il vous a délivrés de vos problèmes. Et vous ne reconnaissiez pas cela.
Ensuite lorsqu’Il les a fait entrer dans une pièce, là où Il pouvait se réunir avec eux et qu’Il a fermé les portes, Il a fait quelque chose d’un peu différent de ce que pouvait faire un homme. Lorsqu’Il a fait cette chose comme ce qu’Il avait fait pendant qu’Il–avant qu’Il soit crucifié, ils ont reconnu que c’était le Seigneur. Il s’en est allé, Il a disparu de leur vue.
Ils sont retournés à Jérusalem en courant et, joyeux, ils ont dit: «Réellement, le Seigneur est ressuscité.» Si c’est le même Jésus qui est ici ce soir, peut-être que ce soir Il fera la même chose qu’Il a faite lorsqu’Il était ici sur terre.
| E-72 One time when they was preaching down yonder Jesus went going over to--on His road after the resurrection. Two people were going over on the road over to another place called Emmaus. And on their road over there, Jesus walked right out along the road and walked with them all through the day. And they didn't recognize Him. Is that right? They didn't recognize Him.
He talked with them. And many of you people that's went to church, and Jesus has helped you many times, but you didn't recognize it. He's helped you; He's blessed you; He saved you from trouble. And you don't recognize it.
Then when He got them into one room where He could gather with them and shut the doors, He done something just a little different from what a man could do. When He did that thing like He did when He--before He was crucified, they recognized it to be the Lord. He run away, got out of their sight.
They run back to Jerusalem light hearted and said, "Truly, the Lord has risen." If that's the same Jesus Who's here tonight, maybe He will do something tonight like He did when He was here on earth.

| E-73 If you could be the woman with the blood issue or whatever you have, if you can look, and yield your spirit to Him without any confusion, no prayer card, no way of getting up here. But if you can yield yourself to Him, and I can yield myself to Him, and pray, "Lord Jesus, knowing that I've got to meet these people in the judgment and stand here on Your Word that You've raised from the dead..." See if He don't call you. See if He can't speak just like He always spoke. If you believe, that's the only thing you can do is have faith in God. He said, "If thou canst believe..."
Now, let us bow our heads just a moment. I'm going to ask the organist, if you will young lady, I want you just to softly chord, "Only Believe," while we have a word of prayer. I want everybody real quiet now.
I don't know. I'm just asking Him. If you've got a need now for God, be just as reverent as you can and believe. And if He will come tonight in this meeting, after this message... You got to answer for this message. You might not had to answer for it if you hadn't come to church tonight, but, yes, you're going to answer for it now. It's on your hands. You'll either have to wash your hands of it like Pilate did or you'll accept it.
Now, I spoke. That's a man. But I spoke of His Word. Now, He's God. He will confirm His Word. Let's just believe...?... God.

Comment allez-vous Le toucher? La Bible dit qu’Il est un Souverain Sacrificateur maintenant même, à la droite du Père, faisant intercession. Il est un Souverain Sacrificateur qui peut être touché par le sentiment de nos infirmités. Est-ce juste?

Now, you say, "Well, Brother Branham, can I come up and touch you?" No, that's touching me. That wouldn't do no good. But you want to touch Him.
How do you touch Him? The Bible said that, "He's a High Priest right now, at the right hand of the Father, making intercessions. He's a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities." Is that right?
If you have an infirmity pray to Him, and ask, and find out if God won't give you the touch and let you touch Him, if you just believe. [Someone speaks in tongues--Ed.] Be reverent. Be in prayer. You look, live, just pray.

Et une dame est assise juste derrière, ici à gauche, elle porte un petit bonnet écossais blanc, et elle a une espèce de bonnet écossais gris avec un tailleur gris, et elle est en train de prier. Elle est assise juste derrière une dame de couleur.
Elle a bougé juste là. Elle porte des lunettes. Elle a des vertiges. Si c’est juste, madame, levez la main. Tout droit derrière cette...?... Vous qui êtes juste ici, vous qui êtes juste là.
Eh bien, vous n’en aurez plus, madame. Votre foi L’a touché. Si tu crois... Cela est dû à une maladie des nerfs, soeur. Et l’ombre qui vous environnait a disparu. Maintenant, soyez respectueuse. Vous êtes dans la Présence de Celui qui est la Vie.

She's setting right behind a colored lady.
She moved her body just then. She's wearing glasses. She has dizzy spells. If that's right, lady, raise up your hand? Right straight behind that...?... You right here, you right there.
Well, you won't have it no more, lady. Your faith touched Him. If thou canst believe... That's a cause from a nervous trouble, sister. A shadow that was around you is gone. Now, be reverent. You're in the Presence of Him Who is Life.

E-83 Voulez-vous croire, partout dans la salle à présent? Sont-ce là les choses qu’Il avait faites lorsqu’Il était ici sur terre? Dans ce cas, Sa guérison ne change jamais. C’est Lui. Croyez-vous maintenant? Alors–alors, croyez.
Prions. Notre Père céleste, que toute superstition quitte ces gens. Ce démon cherche à les retenir dans les ténèbres. Et en réalité, ils sont destinés à être la postérité d’Abraham. Et je Te demande de partir, de chasser ce démon, ou bien de me donner l’Esprit de puissance.
Satan, j’aimerais te parler. Tu vois que tu es exposé. Ton temps est pratiquement fini. Et, oh! ta condamnation en ce jour-là. Je me tiens ici en tant que serviteur de Dieu. Tu n’as pas peur de moi, mais tu as peur de Lui.
Mais je Le représente dans Sa mort, dans Son ensevelissement, et dans Sa résurrection. Ces gens Le représentent. Et tu as demandé à tous tes démons de lier ces gens. Et tu penses que tu peux les retenir, mais tu n’es qu’un bluff. Tu es dépouillé de chaque privilège que tu possèdes. Tu n’as aucun droit légal. Jésus t’a dépouillé au Calvaire de chaque puissance que tu avais. Et tu n’es rien qu’un bluff, et tu ne seras plus un bluff pour nous. Jésus est ici. Et tu es–tu es réprimandé. Toi esprit de doute, sors de ces gens au Nom de Jésus-Christ! Quitte ces gens et sors de cette salle! Et que chacun d’eux soit guéri au Nom de Jésus-Christ!
Si jamais vous devez croire, vous devez croire maintenant même. Levez-vous et soyez guéris. Louez Dieu, rendez-Lui gloire, et soyez guéris au Nom du Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
| E-83 Will you believe all over the building at this time? Is that the things He did when He was here on earth? Then His healing never changes. It's Him. Do you believe now? Then--then believe.
Let us pray. Our heavenly Father, may all superstitions leave the people. That devil tries to keep them in darkness. And truly they're designed to be the seed of Abraham.
And I ask that You'll go, send away this evil, or give me the spirit of power.
Satan, I wish to speak to you. You see you're exposed. Your time is nearly over. And oh, your condemnation at that day. I stand here as God's servant. You're not afraid of me, but you are of Him.
But I represent in Him in His death, burial, and resurrection. These people represent Him. And you got your demons all bound into these people. And you think you can hold them, but you're just a bluff. You're stripped of every privilege you have. You have no legal right. Jesus stripped you of every power you had at Calvary. And you're nothing but a bluff, and you ain't bluffing us no longer. Jesus is here. And you're--you are rebuked. Thou spirit of doubt, come out of this people in the Name of Jesus Christ. Leave this people, and go out of this building, and may everyone of them be healed in Jesus Christ's Name.
If you're ever going to believe, you'll believe right now. Rise and be healed; give God praise and glory and be healed in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
