| E-1 Thank you, Brother Green, it's a privilege. A greeting to Brother and Sister Green, and all that's here this morning. And it is a privilege that I feel I have given to me to come to this place of worship to make a few announcements.

E-2 Je ne voudrais pas prendre le temps de Frère Green ici, parce que maintes fois, j'ai entendu Frère Green parler, et j'ai été certainement influencé...?... alors qu'il nous apportait la Parole du Seigneur, et il est si humble à ce sujet. Hier, il disait: "Je ne reçois pas la Parole du Seigneur, comme peut-être Elle devrait venir, par révélation, comme-comme Elle a été envoyée, mais, dit-il, j'aime insister sur ce qui a été dit." Il disait: "C'est comme après que Paul eut écrit quelque chose dans la Bible, moi je viens ici pour insister sur ce qu'il a dit." Il disait: "Je n'ai pas de message, j'insiste seulement sur ce qui a été déjà dit de la part du Seigneur." Je me suis dit que c'était vraiment remarquable qu'un jeune homme comme lui puisse dire-faire une remarque comme celle-là.
Maintenant, disons ensemble juste un mot de prière.
| E-2 I don't want to take Brother Green's time here, because I heard Brother Green several times speak, and I certainly was influenced...?... as he brought the Word of the Lord to us, and so humble about it. Yesterday he said, "I don't get the Word from the Lord as maybe It would come in revelation, as--as It's been sent," but said, "I like to--to stress upon what has been said." He said, "Like when Paul wrote something in the Bible, I come here to stress upon what he said." Said, "I have no message, only just to stress on what's already been said from the Lord." Thought that was really remarkable that a young fellow like that would say--make a remark like that.

E-3 Dieu bien-aimé, je ne sais guère comment commencer, car je sens que Tu es ici aujourd'hui; et dans Ta présence, nous nous sentons toujours si petits. Et je-je Te remercie pour ce privilège. Maintenant, Seigneur, que Tu nous as accordé cet endroit, nous prions que Tu viennes à notre réunion chaque fois que nous nous réunirons ici. Et puisse Ton grand Esprit se mouvoir sur cette ville! Puissions-nous être capables d'apporter ce Message de l'Evangile qui nous a été donné et placé dans nos mains dans ces derniers jours; puisse-t-Il s'accomplir, et puisses-Tu gagner chaque âme de Tucson et des environs que Tu as ordonnée à la Vie. Accorde ces choses, Père, au Nom de Jésus-Christ. Amen.
| E-3 Now, let's just have a word of prayer together. Dear God, I hardly know how to start, for I feel that You are here today, and in Your Presence we always feel so little. And I--I thank You for this privilege. Now, Lord, that Thou has granted this place to us, we pray that You'll meet with us every time that we meet here. And may Your great Spirit move over this city. May we be able to bring this Gospel Message that has been given to us and presented to our hands in this last days, may It be fulfilled, and You get every soul out of Tucson and around about, that You've ordained to Life. Grant these things, Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

| E-4 I think I want to read a little verse of Scripture here this morning, just before I say these words that I wish to say. It's found over in Acts, the 7th chapter of the Book of Acts. And while you're turning to that, we'll begin at the 44th verse.

E-5 Maintenant, nous nous rendrons à Shreveport cette semaine, la semaine prochaine, pour une série des réunions; et maintenant, nous allons essayer, si le Seigneur le veut... Frère Moore, Frère Jack Moore, un très bon ami à moi et à Frère Pearry, et nous aimons Frère Jack. | E-5 Now, we're going to Shreveport this week, this coming week, for a series of services; and now, we're going to try, if the Lord willing... Brother Moore, Brother Jack Moore, a very good friend of both Brother Pearry and I, and we love Brother Jack. The Message, I think, kinda baffled him a little, especially on some of the things that we hold dear and believe, that--that It came to us through the opening of the Seven Seals, as we believe it, such as, "serpent's seed," and "eternal security of the believers," and--and so forth, some of those messages. That, maybe to others... We don't think this is hard, but it--if--you've got to open your heart to Truth. We believe that we're living in the--the end time. That's just so real to us, that we're just at the end of the road.

E-6 Et quand vous prêchez dans l'église de quelqu'un d'autre, eh bien, vous devez honorer l'hospitalité de cet homme, pour-pour vous avoir donné l'occasion de venir dans son église. Et moi, bien sûr, sachant qu'ils ne croient pas en cela, je les honorerais assez pour... | E-6 And to speak in some other man's church, well, you want to honor that man's hospitality of--of giving you that opportunity to come into his church. And I, certainly, knowing that they don't believe in that, and I would honor them enough to... There is plenty more that I can speak on there, besides bringing that in; unless it's just the Holy Spirit happen to push it a little (You see?), then I would certainly say as He said. And I don't know no better than to do that, and I hope I never learn any better than to do it, just--just to say it the way He said it.

E-7 Maintenant, lisons juste un-un verset ou deux ici dans le-le 7ème chapitre du Livre des Actes, à partir du 44ème verset.
Nos Pères avaient au désert le tabernacle du témoignage, comme l'avait ordonné celui qui dit à Moïse de le faire d'après le modèle qu'il avait vu.
Et nos pères, l'ayant reçu, l'introduisirent, sous la conduite de Josué, dans le pays qui était possédé par les nations que Dieu chassa de devant la face de nos pères, et il y resta jusqu'aux jours de David; qui trouva grâce devant Dieu, et qui demanda d'élever un tabernacle pour le Dieu de Jacob; mais ce fut Salomon qui Lui bâtit une maison.
Mais le Très-Haut n'habite pas dans les temples faits de main d'homme, comme dit le prophète:
Le ciel est Mon trône,... la terre est Mon marchepied. Quelle maison Me bâtirez-vous, dit le Seigneur, ou quel sera le lieu de Mon repos?
N'est-ce pas ma main qui a fait toutes ces choses?...
| E-7 Now, let us read just a--a verse or two here out of the--the 7th chapter of the Book of Acts, beginning with the 44th verse.
Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he has appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
Which also our father that came after brought in with Jesus unto the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
But Solomon built him a house.
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Heaven is my throne,... earth is my footstool: what house will you build me: saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Has not my hands made all these things?

Mais Lui, pour autant que je sache-tout ce que je sais de Dieu, c'est que j'ai été envoyé à Tucson par une vision. Je me suis demandé pourquoi j'ai été envoyé dans ce lieu désert. | E-9 I find this one of the great moments of my visit to Tucson. I come here because that I was led to come here. I come here because that the Holy Spirit, through a vision, sent me here. I know that might seem strange, maybe. But He, as far as I know, anything that I know of God, I was sent by a vision to Tucson. I've wondered how I ever was sent to this desert place. And then here where there is...

E-10 Spirituellement parlant, à propos de cette ville, je ne connais aucun endroit qui soit aussi mort spirituellement que la ville de Tucson. Il y a guerre entre les églises. Il y a des tiraillements entre les assemblées. Il n'y a pas d'unité, et chacun essaie de s'accrocher, de tenir, de faire pression, d'avoir celui-ci et de faire des prosélytes. | E-10 Spiritually speaking, over the city, I don't know of any place that's any more spiritual dead than in the city of Tucson. There is war between the churches. There is fusses between the congregations. There's no unity, and everyone grabbing, and holding, and squeezing, and trying to get this one, and proselyting. It is a desert, spiritually speaking, also.

E-11 Mais alors, j'ai lu dans la Bible, là où Dieu appela Moïse loin de ses bien-aimés et loin de tout ce qui lui était cher, et l'envoya au désert pour écrire les lois de la Bible. Ce sont les quatre premiers Livres de l'Ancien Testament: la Genèse, le Lévitique, le Deutéronome et l'Exode. Vous voyez, mais je ne les ai pas cités simplement par routine, mais ce sont ces quatre Livres qui composent réellement l'Ancien Testament, car le reste des Livres, c'est ce qu'ont dit les prophètes, dans les Psaumes de David, et ainsi de suite, dans les Chroniques des rois. | E-11 But then I read in the Bible, that where God called Moses away from his loved ones and all that was dear to him, and sent him into the wilderness, to write the laws of the Bible. That was the Old Testament the first four Books, Genesis, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, and Exodus. See, but I never said them just in routine, but that's four Books. That really is the Old Testament. Because the rest of It was what the prophets said, in the Psalms of David, and so forth, but the Chronicles of the kings. But this was the fundamentals of the Old Testament. Was Moses wrote them after he was called from his homeland, where he had been born and brought up among his people, and was sent into the desert to write this Book of the Old Testament.

E-12 Ensuite, j trouve que dans le Livre du Nouveau Testament, là, Paul qui est l'auteur, non pas l'auteur, mais l'écrivain du Nouveau Testament, lui aussi fut retiré du milieu de son peuple et, par l'Esprit, il fut conduit dans le-en Arabie où il passa trois ans et demi pour recevoir l'inspiration. Et Paul est l'écrivain principal du Nouveau Testament. Maintenant, il y a Matthieu, Marc, Luc et Jean, mais c'étaient des scribes qui écrivirent simplement ce que Jésus disait pendant qu'ils Le suivaient. | E-12 Then I find that in the Book of the New Testament, where Paul, which is the author--or not the author, but the writer of the New Testament. He also was drove out from among his people, and, by the Spirit, into the--Arabia, where he was three and a half years, to find the inspiration. And Paul is the chief writer of the New Testament. Now, there is Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, but they were scribes that just wrote what Jesus said as they followed Him along. And, but, you take the Book to Timothy, and to the Romans, and to the Hebrews, and so forth, Paul received inspiration to write the New Testament; taking all the Old Testament as a shadow, and setting it in order. And God honored it, and made it the New Testament.

E-13 Et maintenant, si l'Ancien Testament dût être retiré de ... l'écrivain dût être retiré du milieu de son peuple pour être amené dans le désert afin de recevoir l'inspiration pour écrire l'Ancien Testament, et que dans le Nouveau Testament, l'écrivain fut conduit par l'Auteur dans un lieu désert pour y recevoir l'inspiration afin d'écrire le Nouveau Testament, et les Livres étant scellés de Sept Sceaux, je crois qu'il faudrait aussi la même chose, dans ces jours, pour ouvrir ces Sept Sceaux. | E-13 And now, if the Old Testament had to be drove from the--the writer had to be drove from his people into the wilderness to get inspiration to write the Old Testament. And in the New Testament the writer was drove by the Author into a desert place to get the inspiration to write the New Testament. And the Books are sealed with Seven Seals; it would also require the same, I believe, in these days, to open those Seven Seals. To leave what you hold dear, to what you cherish, and a little home that was given me by the people, and amongst all my people and friends, and a church that was flourishing, and had nothing to--lacking; and to--to leave that, pull right away from it, and move away out into a desert where you knew nobody, and everything against you.

E-14 Mais il y a en Dieu quelque Chose qui fait qu'Il conduit l'homme à faire des choses qui sont au-delà de sa propre pensée, de sorte que cela puisse être pour l'honneur et la gloire de Dieu. | E-14 But there's something about God, that He drives a man to do things that's beyond any thinking of his own, so it can be to the glory and honor of God. And--and I feel that, not self honor, but I--I feel it a privilege that it was to leave everything that was called dear to me to get here into this wilderness and suffer like I have never suffered in my life, here in this wilderness, or this desert. But I believe that in doing that and obeying what God commanded to be done, God has opened to us the mysteries of this last day. And we are here with this Message.

E-15 Maintenant, il y a beaucoup de gens qui m'ont suivi, et c'est normal. D'habitude une personne que nous... | E-15 Now, there was many people who followed me, and that's not unusual. Usually a person we... The people love one another, and it--love will drive you to do things you don't think you would do. And many of you left your homes; you left all just to go--come out here in the desert.

E-16 Beaucoup m'ont téléphoné, beaucoup m'ont demandé: "Devrions-nous venir en Arizona? Serait-ce un bon endroit pour nous?" Eh bien, comme il fut dit de Moïse et des autres, ce n'était pas un endroit où il y avait des fruits, ce n'était pas un endroit où il y avait des grenades.
| E-16 Many has called me, many has asked me, "Shall we come to Arizona? Would it be a good place for us?" Well, as it was said about Moses and them, it was no place of fruit, no place of pomegranate.

E-17 Ici, il n'y a pas beaucoup de travail, la vie est chère, et le coût de la vie est élevé. Tucson, Arizona, c'est vraiment un endroit où la vie est dure. | E-17 Here there's not much work to do, and the living is high, and the cost of living is high. It's really a rough place to live, is Tucson, Arizona; wages are poor, and--and food is high, and rent. It's--it's a horrible place to live in that manner. But it's healthy; it's dry. And we sometimes... We mustn't get our minds fashioned on things of this earth.

E-18 Nous devons nous attendre à la conduite du Saint-Esprit. | E-18 We must look to a leading of the Holy Spirit. But one thing that troubled me in coming here and telling people, well, "you should not come" or "you should come," that I leave up to each individual, the way God leads that individual to do. I think every one of us should do that: be led by the Spirit on what to do.

E-19 Et la plupart d'entre vous ici sont venus des alentours de Jeffersonville et de l'assemblée de là, et vous êtes venus ici. Maintenant, la chose qui me préoccupait était d'avoir un endroit où adorer.
| E-19 And many of you here are from around Jeffersonville, and of the congregation there, and you have come out here. Now, the thing that bothered me was a place of worship.

E-20 Et je me rends compte-comme je l'ai lu dans cette Ecriture-ci, à propos d'Etienne et de son discours juste avant sa mort; car on le lapida immédiatement après, à cause de son message. Pendant qu'il parlait, il dit: "Nos pères", en parlant des Hébreux des premiers jours, comment ils essayèrent de trouver grâce devant Dieu pour bâtir un lieu d'adoration. Il dit que Salomon Lui bâtit une maison, plutôt un temple. Nous connaissons l'histoire.
| E-20 And I realize, as I read in the Scripture here, of Stephen and his address just before his death; for they stoned him immediately afterwards for his message. As he was speaking, he said, "Our fathers," talking of the Hebrews in the early day, how that they tried to find favor before God to build a place for worship. He said that Solomon built Him a house, or a building. We're acquainted with the story.

E-21 Mais j'aime ce qu'il a dit par la suite: "Néanmoins, le Très-Haut n'habite pas dans les maisons faites de main d'homme", et ailleurs dans Esaïe... Il a dit: "Tu M'as formé un Corps" (voyez?), il ne s'agit pas de sacrifices ni d'offrandes, ni de bâtiments, ni de quoi que ce soit, mais "Tu M'as formé un Corps." Eh bien, nous comprenons qu'Il parlait alors du Corps dans lequel Dieu tabernacla, en Christ.
| E-21 But I like his next words, "Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in houses that's made with hands," and another place over in Isaiah... He said, "A body has thou prepared Me (See?), sacrifice and offerings, and buildings, and so forth, but a body has Thou prepared Me." Well, we realize that he was speaking then of the body where God tabernacled in Christ.

E-22 Mais je crois aujourd'hui que l'inspiration qui est venue à-à Frère Green pour venir ici, lui et Soeur Green, abandonnant aussi leur maison dans l'Est-ou là-bas dans le Texas, pour venir ici avec-pour repartir à zéro; simplement par une inspiration, ayant senti qu'ils devaient le faire. J'apprécie les hommes qui suivent la conduite de Christ, sans tenir compte du prix que cela va leur coûter.
| E-22 But I believe today, that the inspiration that's come to--to Brother Green to move here, him and Sister Green, giving up their place back in the east also to--or back in Texas, to come here with--to start with nothing, just simply by an inspiration, feeling that they should do it. I appreciate men that will follow the leading of Christ, regardless of the cost it costs them.

E-23 Même si le monde entier, peut-être vos meilleurs amis, pense que vous êtes dans l'erreur, ce n'est cependant pas une erreur pour vous. Aussi longtemps que vous sentez qu'il y a quelque chose derrière cela, c'est Dieu qui vous conduit; ce n'est jamais faux, et cela réussira toujours parfaitement.
| E-23 Though the whole world, maybe your very best friends, think that you're wrong, but it isn't wrong to you. As long as you feel there's something behind it, it's God moving you; it's never wrong, and it'll always pan out right.

E-24 Et ce jeune couple-un jeune homme doué (je ne dis pas ça parce qu'il est assis ici) et cette jeune dame avec ses enfants, et sa famille à élever-il a abandonné son travail et tout pour venir ici.
| E-24 And this young couple, a talented young man. I ain't saying this because he's setting here. And this young lady with her babies, with his family to raise, and he's quit his job and everything to move here.

E-25 Je réalise que c'est depuis des années que j'ai été appelé au ministère. Je n'ai jamais été un pasteur couronné de succès, parce que j'ai un esprit voyageur, un esprit errant. Je ne peux être satisfait nulle part. Juste partout où va l'Esprit, je dois simplement aller avec Lui parce que j'ai un Message. Jésus a dit: "Je dois aussi prêcher dans cette autre ville."
| E-25 I realize that years ago I was called in the ministry. I've never made a successful pastor, because I got a roaming, rambling spirit. I can't be satisfied anywhere. Just wherever the Spirit moves, I've just got to move with It, because I have a Message. Jesus said, "I must preach in this other town also."

E-26 Mais il y en a qui sont des bergers, qui veillent sur le troupeau. Je suis si reconnaissant que Frère Pearry ait suivi la conduite du Saint-Esprit et aujourd'hui, nous avons un tabernacle. C'en est un petit. C'est juste assez bon pour un début, pour voir ce que le Saint-Esprit... sans rien savoir... allons-y simplement pas à pas. Maintenant, je crois que si Dieu a dit à Frère et à Soeur Green de venir ici, et qu'il a ouvert un endroit où nos enfants, au lieu de rouler à bicyclette le dimanche matin, de courir ça et là dans les rues, ont un endroit où venir pour adorer; au lieu que nous restions assis là, en train de suivre quelque chose que nous avons entendu à la radio, ce qui est très bien...
| E-26 But there are those who are shepherds that watch the flock. I'm so grateful that Brother Pearry followed the leading of the Holy Spirit, and today we have a tabernacle. It's a small one. That's just good enough to start with to see what the Holy Spirit... Not knowing, let's just move step by step. Now, I believe if God has spoke to Brother and Sister Green to come here, and has opened up a place where our children; instead of on Sunday morning riding their bicycles, and on the streets and running around, to have a place to come to worship, instead of us sitting around and listening to something that we've heard on radio, which is all right...

E-27 Mais nous, ce groupe de gens, nous avons un Message pour ce jour. Nous-nous croyons que Dieu nous a donné un Message. Et Frère Green est... Je ne voudrais pas l'appeler mon associé, parce que nous sommes... Eh bien, il est aussi mon associé; nous sommes ensemble dans ce Message. Frère Green prêche la même chose et le même Message que je crois. Il a abandonné sa maison,il a abandonné les siens, il a abandonné son église. Il était, je crois, il était un surintendant de district ou quelque chose comme cela d'une des organisations, et il a tout abandonné quand il a entendu Ceci. Il a abandonné tout ce qui lui était cher pour venir aussi au désert, juste pour soutenir ce que Dieu nous donne maintenant.
| E-27 But we, as this group of people, we have a Message for this day. We--we believe that God has given us a Message. And Brother Green is... I don't want to call him my associate, because we are... Well, it is also my associate; we are together in this Message. Brother Green preaches the same thing and Message that I believe in. He's left his home; he's left his people; he's left his church. He was, I believe, he was a district superintendent or something of one of the organizations, and give the whole thing up when he heard This. He left everything that was dear to him also to come to the desert, just to support what God is giving to us now.

E-28 Je dis-je crois que cela ne doit pas être seulement dans nos coeurs; il est de notre devoir de le soutenir en faisant tout ce que nous pouvons: assister aux réunions, venir ici pour adorer, et faire de cet endroit un lieu où Dieu peut nous révéler les choses qu'Il a à nous révéler. Et comme il l'a dit lui-même: "Le Message ne vient pas à moi à travers le don d'inspiration, comme il vient peut-être à certains d'entre nous, mais il a dit: Je suis ici pour soutenir ce que Dieu a donné." Quelle déclaration! Et je crois que si nous coopérons tous ensemble, nous nous y attelerons de tout coeur.
| E-28 I say, I believe it's not only should be in our hearts; it should be our duty to back him up, everything that we can: to attend the services, to come here to worship, and to make this a place where God can reveal to us the things that He has for us to reveal. And as his word said, "The Message doesn't come to me through the giving of the inspiration, as it does to maybe to some of us," but he said, "I am here to back up what God has given." What a statement. And I believe, if we will all cooperate together, we'll put our hearts to it.

E-29 Je sais que chacun de vous-si vous ressentez ce que je ressens-je désire ardemment voir l'Esprit de Dieu se mouvoir; je ne peux tout simplement plus endurer cela. Là, à la montagne, j'ai juste eu quelques expériences; j'aimerais simplement ressentir cela une fois de plus, cette Chose qui était si glorieuse pour mon coeur quand je venais d'être sauvé! Nous pouvons entrer quelque part où nous pouvons nous établir et nous le voyons parmi nous, nous voyons que nous nous desséchons. Comme nous sommes installés ici au désert, je me rends auprès de mes frères; ils me parlent et je leur parle, toujours de façon à observer un peu et sonder par l'Esprit ce qu'il y a, pour voir simplement la condition de ce frère, pour voir ce qui ne va pas. Je commence à sentir que tout penche, tout s'éloigne de l'Esprit. Cela devient une chose trop naturelle pour nous. Nous devons adorer en Esprit, là où l'Esprit de Dieu... Notre Message devrait être non seulement la flamme de l'heure, mais aussi la flamme dans nos coeurs. Voyez-vous Cela doit être dans nos coeurs, sinon nous ne pourrons-nous ne pourrons pas Le présenter correctement aux gens. L'Esprit Lui-même doit porter le Message. Et j'ai confiance et je crois que chacun de vous est un véritable Chrétien.
| E-29 I know that each one of you, if you feel like I do, I am so hungry to see the Spirit of God moving, I just can't hardly stand it. Some experiences I just had up in the mountain, just to feel that once again, that Something that when I was first saved that was so glorious to my heart. And we can come into a place; we can set and we see it among us, that we are drying. As we sit here in the desert, I get among my brethren; they talk with me and I talk with them; always, in a little way of watching, feeling out there with the Spirit, as it was, to see just the condition of that brother, to see what's wrong. I begin to feel it's all reclining, getting away from the Spirit. It's become too natural a thing to us. We must worship in the Spirit, where the Spirit of God... Not only our Message should be the flame of the hour, it should be the flame in our hearts. See? It's got to be in our hearts, or we can't--we can't rightly present it to the people. The Spirit has to pack the Message Itself. And I'm trusting and believing in every one of you to be a real Christian.

| E-42 Just a few days ago, standing here on the street corner, just across the street, watching that parade go down the street; and seeing those old First War tanks leading the way, then come the big heavy Sherman tank, behind that followed on and on and on, then the gold-star mothers; the little broke-up family, with a crying wife, and a little ragged boy lost his daddy, an old mother had lost a son. I thought, "How sad to stand on the street corner and--and watch something like that pass." Then noticing, just as they passed this building, the music changed to "Onward Christian Soldiers," playing their marches behind; but when they passed this spot...

E-43 Dieu bien-aimé, je pense à un autre grand moment qui vient, et ce sera la résurrection, quand ressusciteront premièrement les vétérans, les saints, les patriarches. "Car nous les vivants qui sommes restés, nous ne devancerons pas ou ne ferons pas obstacle à ceux qui dorment; car la trompette du Seigneur sonnera et les morts en Christ ressusciteront premièrement." Then when we see that great, just those people going, marching up through the skies; and we'd be standing, waiting for our change, knowing that we'll fall in line also, God, make us faithful soldiers.

May he carry this Message, Lord, into this city and wherever You'll call him. May he be loyal, filled with the Spirit, living a life above reproach. God, let him have the hearts of the people, and that he might teach them and lead them and direct them in the path that we all desire to walk. Grant it, Lord.
